Had one of your "marketing" rep come to my house for estimate today. I was upfront with him that i had a few quotes from different companies and also some coming out this Saturday. He ask if he can take a look at one of the quotes i got and I showed him because I wanted to be transparent. He ask to take a picture or send him the quote through email i said no but he wrote them down anyway while looking at my phone. It bacame awkward and very shady at that point. After 5 minutes of him reviewing and writing the quote from my phone. He is now insisting me over and over to give him a price thats best suited for me to close the deal right now right here! I was pressured at that point. He suppose to give me his presentation and deals and what not but it went from an estimate to an interogation. I felt like i was buying a car! whew! At that point since i did not want to give him how much my project should be because i literally dont know, i have no idea this is why homeowners get quotes right??! So anyway after that He didn't even bother to measure our windows, didnt bother giving me his presentation, ddnt bother giving his estimate pricing deals or anything! Eric and Taylor were very helpful and informative when it came to choosing our new windows and backyard door. Eron, our project manager was also professional and helpful when it came to answering our questions. Installation day came and the workers were polite and efficient. Got windows installed on my house and after the installation I noticed that standing near the windows I didn't feel the heat from outside like old windows. The noise has been significantly quite and the house stays cooler even with out having the ac running constantly. After a heavy rain storm, I noticed a great deal of roofing granules on my driveway. My handyman was doing a job for me so I had him go up on the roof and inspect it and take pictures. I couldn't do it myself because I'm disabled and cannot walk. What he showed me was scary. The shingles were practically bare. I helped my father put up this roofing 35 years ago when I was a young man.i went online and there was a site that could give you a rough estimate using Google earth to asses the size of your roof. After that, I received many sales calls. I chose one that fit into my schedule. ENERGYCORE CONSTRUCTION. Their salesman came by and did an inspection and asked if I had any leaks. I told him no and he was very surprised, because he said the roofing was in really bad shape. He showed me pictures and I agreed, it was toast. He was very patient and showed me the process and materials they would use very thoroughly. Owens-Corning top of the line materials. 50 year warranty. Explained how they would remove an old swamp cooler and patch the hole. Replace any wood found in bad condition, replace ALL the drip edging and any fascia boards not up to their standards. Their crew showed up on a Tues at 7 am and stripped the entire old roof in 4.5 hours and cleaned everything up. You could not tell any roof stripping was done because they were so thourogh with their clean up. The next day (Wed) was inspection and on Thurs morning, work began. Then after 2 hours or work a giant curveball was thrown our way. The power went out in the entire neighborhood!! The crew did everything possible, but with no power, their air compressor did not work. So no nailing of roofing couldn't take place. They did what they could with their battery powered tools but their pneumatic nailers were down for the count. The power was finally restored at about 5pm. The crew got to nailing immediately. They worked until it was just to dark to do quality work. They were back early the next day (Fri) and completed the job. Just in the nick of time because it rained that night. The salesman was freindly, considerate and explained all aspects of the job thoroughly. The crew was fast, thorough and left the area so clean, you'd never guess a major job like this was completed. A couple of days later, another team member came by for final inspection and to finalize payment paperwork. I received a pretty good discount for using their top of the line materials and the price was very fair. Overall, it was an easy and great experience. You hear tales of shady contractors so I was apprehensive but I was worried for nothing. If you are I need of new roofing, I can highly reccomend ENERGYCORE CONSTRUCTION based in Anaheim CA. read more

Energy Core Construction rep Zach arrived on time, and by the end of his visit we knew this was the company for us. With Zach's help we chose the Onyx Black Owens Corning roof with the 50 year warranty, and it's beautiful!! We love it, and yes, right away I noticed subtle differences. Besides being absolutely beautiful, the house was somehow quieter, even when the Santa Anas came through. My husband laughed when I told him, but he had to agree when a few days later it was raining and we had no idea until I peeked out the window!! I remember hearing everything going on outside with our old roof, but this one... nothing. I smile every time I go outside. I've sent pictures to family members that had been nagging us to get a new roof and they love it too. As for the construction phase- sadly, we weren't here. The roof was scheduled for May 2nd, but we had been waiting since Feb for asbestos removal for bathroom repair, and got the call to leave April 28th. We were gone 8 days, and when we pulled into the driveway we saw no roofing construction debris, everything was just as we left it, perfection!! Yesterday a rep named Mark stopped by, took some after photos, and again asked if we were satisfied with the work they did, and yes, we are. Fresno, CA Office From sale to final completion walk through, the entire process was smooth and easy. Zach and Alan started the process with demonstrating all the benefits of upgrading to the Del Mar Luxury vinyl windows. They are energy efficient, provide sound suppression, easy to clean, and offer a double lifetime warranty. I was sold. Eron Macias, Project Manager worked around my schedule to come out and get all the measurements for the 11 windows and one 96x96 sliding glassdoor. I noticed one of the outside ornamental windows wasn't included and he measured and got that one added. Everything was ready to install in about 2 months. Shawn and his team arrived on time, were friendly and professional. They explained the process of removing the old windows and installing the new ones. They did this over 2 days, cleaning up as they went along and removing all the debris. They demonstrated the additional safety features,especially the large deadbolt for the slider. The energy efficiency is evident from day 1 and all the windows and slider look amazing. Eron then came back out and did a final walk through. I had one window in my master bath that I decided to have the windowsill raised. The wall was built up but not finished with sheetrock and texture as i had thought it would be. Eron made a quick call and someone will be out to complete that. I appreciate that customer service greatly. ECC are Pros! Art and I needed more than roof repairs on our casita. The roof needed to be replaced after 20 some odd years of patching here and there. Energy Core Construction did a beautiful Paint/Coat on a neighbors home and they were very happy with the work, so I called them. From sales, to project management, to roof tear down and install - the end to end process was unbelievably professional, timely and they kicked butt. Excellent job thru. We decided to do it in two batches, upstairs windows first, sliding doors downstairs later if the windows were nice. Well, we're definitely going for round two! In April we ordered our windows, got HOA approval easily. Kenny came to measure exacty. It took about a month and half to get the windows custom-sized from the factory, Amlin dual pane triple low-e, can't even fee the sun heat thru them - won't bleach the floor. Installation was done in one day mid June, and some small scratch in the screen was fixed one week later under warranty. read more
