At his shop he immediately identified the 2 key blanks from Lectric ebikes were WRONG blanks for my original key and pointed out why. He would look for a substitute in his own inventory. After about 30 minutes he presented me with 2 different freshly cut copies. I did not have my bike with me to test whether they worked. Without charge he said go home, test them and call with results. One of the 2 new blank cuts WORKED! I called to give him the good news and a credit card. In spite of my insistence to pay him, he DECLINED to charge me?! Huh??? This man was so friendly and so knowledgeable. I put him in my contacts and will always use this man for any future locksmithing needs.

I explained the situation to Response Crew and I was relieved to receive reassurances from the manager of Response Crew that he'd send one of his best door guys out and that we would not be disappointed. The manager also called back twice to make sure we were happy with the job. Although I missed those voice messages I figure posting about my experience here will make up for that. It's always tough when you are trying to hang a new door on an old frame that may not be perfectly straight anymore. And yes only time will tell if the fit holds. I called AAA Arizona when my ignition switch would not turn. I was referred to Advanced Lock Service by AAA as they are an approved service provider by AAA. I was told that it would be about 2 hours before a tech could come to look at my car. Not a big deal because I was home for the evening. I got a call back a few minutes later and was advised that a tech would be to my house in about 45 minutes. I thought "wow, that's great". I was then told that I had $50.00 coverage with my AAA membership and it would be an additional $535.00 to repair my ignition switch. I asked the gentleman how he could know what was wrong with my car without even looking at it. He responded that this was a common problem with this type of car and was a very labor intensive repair. I respectfully declined their service. The next day, I called another locksmith and paid 60.00 for the repair which consisted of replacing some worn tumblers in the ignition switch. The repair took about 30 minutes. I think I'm gonna call AAA and tell them about my experience. read more

I called these guys and they did not get back with me for a long time (1.5 weeks when they said they would get back with me in 2 days). Basically forgot about calling me to get a key made for my car. Then I called them back and they remembered who I was. I then told them if I could have my money back and they said no because they had already ordered the key. I was going through something and did not have time to meet them during their business hours. They were flexible about keeping the key for weeks if that's what it took for me to work with them so they did okay with that. They also mislead me into thinking that they were saving me hundreds of dollars with reprograming the key. Come to find out the dealership would have only been $20 more expensive and %50 more user friendly then these people. read more

Checked Yelp for their top Key Services in Phoenix area. Read many of the reviews and narrowed it down to the top three rated key service companies. Then looked them all up on BBB - Phoenix for Ratings, years of service, complaints and reviews. I then got quotes from the top two. One said it depended on the locks and couldn't give a specific price until he was there. A 1 Minute Key Service gave a straight quote of $59 for the service call and $14.50 per lock. We chose A 1 Minute Key Service and set up an appointment. The locksmith was on time. We have a lock on the door to the garage, a lock on the front door, and a lock on the gate to back yard. He gave us a choice of having them all use the same key, but suggested that if we might give a key to the pool person and/or yard person, that we could have a separate key for the gate lock. The total charge was $120 ($59 plus three locks $43.50 plus 8 keys (4 gate keys and 4 home keys). During the home move in process, I hired four contractors: Arizona Chimney and Air Ducts (clean all air ducts), A 1 Minute Key Service (re-keying all locks), PWB Moving (local move) and now Apple Plumbing Services. On each of these, I first looked at Yelp for the "best in Phoenix" and then took the top two or three with best reviews to BBB - Phoenix to check their Ratings, years in the business, complaints, and reviews. All four the ones that I hired, turned out to be excellent contractors with very reasonable prices!

I live in Peoria, specifically in Trilogy, which is about 2 miles west of the 303 freeway. When I called to request installation of a smart lock I was informed that their service area is only east of the 303, and therefore they could not provide service for me. When I asked if they could make an exception they told me that the owner would only do so if I payed an additional $125.00 for the job. This is false and misleading advertising, with no attempt at an equitable solution. I would not recommend using this company.
