Alex came over and looked at the old AC unit and furnace. His professional guidance including a recommended solution was both honest and accurate. I accepted his solution and scheduled the install. The entire time I was kept in the loop by text and phone calls. The day of the job they showed up exactly on time 8am. The team was fronted by Amando and with him was Pete and Tyler. This was clearly not their first rodeo. Amazing, the three men quickly removed the old units both inside and out and installed the new units. Less than a week later we had lost all coolant and they were kind enough to come back again and refill again and very next day we were out of coolant. Sweltering hot! Nice people. Gave us a quote which was $2k more than Home Depot's quote and $3k more than another HVAC contractors, so I went with HD. I feel bad I couldn't give Fontaine my business even though I liked them, but $2k is just 2 much.

They have been highly responsive to requests for service and have bent over backwards to provide good service on my somewhat challenged Heat Pump. We needed their support again this week as the temperature dropped overnight in the house and they were on site in a few hours getting me heat again, though there was additional research that was needed. Their return all was not great news for either of us as the compressor in the Heat Pump has again become defective. The parts are still covered under warranty and I'm hopeful that some portion of the labor can be covered by Trane or Cleworth. Regardless, they are quick, effective, and very pleasant to work with.
