Just completed 19 units of radiation for breast cancer at this location. Everything about the…read moreplace was top notch. All equipment, furnishings and decor seemed brand new. The facility was immaculate. All the staff was friendly, pleasant, helpful, proficient at their jobs & compassionate. The therapists really made an effort to make the experience as comfortable and non-threatening as possible. There always seemed to be at least one physician in the house and a nurse was always available for any questions or assistance. The schedule was always flexible. I was able to switch appointments when necessary, to meet my needs. They were consistently on time...I never had to wait more than 2 min. after getting changed. Usually the therapists came looking for me before I was done changing. They really make an effort to move each patient through, so no back-ups occur. This is ever so important during COVID, because sharing the waiting room with someone else is risky. Their COVID protocol was the most advanced I've seen anywhere. Checking-in, after using hand sanitizer of course, was done with digital palm scanners, at two points before actual treatment began. I was given a new mask at every visit, there were plexiglass partitions between waiting room seats and I'm sure there were many more precautions in place that I didn't even notice. It gave me a sense of confidence that I rarely find when I'm out of my own bubble in the pandemic we are in. I can't really think of a way I would improve upon this facility. Whoever runs it is doing a great job. That's saying a lot since I'm a pretty critical person!!

Waited over 7 months for a Primary doctor, Two left, one died, then another not qualified…read more New one told me that she would only help me with one problem and I have several including A-fib, severe COPD, spinal stenosis, enlarged prostate, oxygen 24 hours a day, knee replacement needed. Receptionist asked me to sign the "Acknowledgment of Receipt Of Privacy Policy" without actually offering me a copy of the privacy policy (total and complete HIPPAA violation). 2. Receptionist was wearing a mask. Small sign on the desk explained that this was because she had opted out of receiving the flu vaccine and thus was wearing a mask during flu season to protect patients per R.I. state law. Fine. However, mask was only covering her mouth, NOT nose. This does ZERO to protect anyone.

I arrived just on time and there was only one person in the waiting room. I was surprised by how nicely decorated, new, and clean the office was. The receptionist was fairly friendly and efficient. My wait was barely 5 minutes. The x-ray technician was very nice and charismatic. She knew exactly what she was doing and I was in and out within 10-15 minutes. My visit was exactly what the ideal office visit should be, quick and efficient with competent staff. RI Medical Imaging will be my go to office for x-rays and alike in the future.

I have never had any issues with any receptionists and have found them to be very pleasant and helpful. I've had ultrasounds at the Atwood Avenue and Cranston locations...each time I was very impressed with the technicians. Now granted, some were more sociable than others and once I had a tech that, in my opinion didn't seem as thorough as the others; however, once I mentioned where I had an issue, she was totally receptive and checked the area. I just feel that everyone is different and has their own way of doing things..but 99% of the people I have come across respond well to suggestions if done so with the right attitude! Personally, I feel that all were very competent , professional and considerate. I must say that the technician that performed my ultrasound today, Adrian, was incredibly sensitive, kind, professional and perfect in every way! She took her time and did the most thorough ultrasound of my neck that I have ever had. I cannot say enough wonderful things about her! I am a retired RN and it's refreshing to meet a fairly new (3 years) health professional that takes such pride in her profession and is so kind and thoughtful. She was very easy to speak with and answered every question very professionally and intelligently! I would highly recommend any of the 3 locations that I have visited!

I have never been a fan of the corporate "Concentra care" but having frequented this location since…read moreI was a little kid, old habits tend to die hard. Over the years, this urgent care location has fallen under various owners and is currently owned by Concentra. The building itself is nice and located right off of the main road (and alongside Rite Aid pharmacy). As for the inside, it is pretty bare bones, all the signs have been changed to the Concentra blue and orange colors but everything else has remained the same. This location is not the best to visit if you need to see a doctor or nurse in a timely fashion, as each time I have visited the wait for anything other than blood work has been at least an hour. There is usually only one medical assistant on duty at the front desk and I'm sure this attributes to the wait time. As far as Urgent Cares go, I'd say this location is pretty standard. The doctors are knowledgeable and as helpful as they can be, but they do seem a bit overworked and understaffed. The shining lights of this Concentra are the Primary care doctor, Diane Dubois-Hall and her medical assistant Ann. I feel truly blessed to have met Dr. Hall as she is a rare gem. I love her down to earth approach to things and she never makes you feel bad about anything, if there is a problem she is ready with different ways to handle the situation. She will always give her honest opinion and genuinely cares about her patients, this is not just a job to her but clearly something she was born to do. The medical assistant Ann manages things at the front desk like a pro and if I call for anything she always goes above and beyond to help. I visit once a month on my lunch break to get a B-12 shot; she opens the office during lunch hours for me when she notices my car pull into the parking lot! I see this personalized care as going above and beyond, a true rarity with medical offices these days. Dr. Hall and Ann will be leaving for their own practice independent of Concentra in about two months. I certainly cannot blame them for wanting to leave the corporate medicine bubble, and fully intend on following them to their new practice. Concentra itself gets two stars; but Dr. Hall and her new practice will certainly be receiving 5 stars from me, upon it's opening.

If I could give zero stars I would. My son's labs did NOT get sent to his doctor, again. I called…read moreand left two messages for the lab to call me back, they didn't bother to call me back. So I stopped in to inquire why the labs didn't get sent. They offered NO explanations and said that I had to have my son come in with me with his ID before they could release any information. I understand HIPPA and everything, but they would not even tell me if the labs ever got sent to the doctor. They told me NOTHING and the woman that I dealt with seemed to really get off on her little power trip...how sad. I them asked if they could just send the labs results out again to the doctor: Denied! They said the doctor has to call the "results" line to get the results. So I asked for that number so I could give it to his doctor: Denied! I swear these little b*tches get off on making things as difficult as possible for their customers. This is not the first time I've experienced "attitude" from the women who work there. Terrible people. Terrible place. I will NOT be back to this office ever again. If you want to be treated like you're a piece of crap and that you're "bothering" them to DO THEIR JOB, this is the perfect place to go.

Yup, the five star rating says it all. But, to elaborate…read more. I was referred here by my ENT for further allergy testing as part of a lengthy process into fixing my sinus issues. While I'm not quite needle-phobic, I'm knee-quivering terrified of getting blood drawn due to a number of horrible experiences in the past. Since my veins are much smaller than average and difficult to locate, I've felt n' suffered everything from being jabbed all ice-pic like in the hands to black and blue bruises all over my arms. And sadly this has happened at clinics, doctors, hospitals and even in ambulances. Today I had to bite the bullet and finally get my testing done prior to yet another appointment next week. Tucked neatly away across the street from the Lincoln Mall, the process was amazingly quick and pain free. Reception called me up no longer than 2 minutes after sitting down for quick paper work. A few moments later, the same very friendly woman brought me to a back room, massaged my hand to expose a vein and WHAM, two viles of blood were drawn with zippo pain or bruising. I was so shocked in fact, I didn't even realize the needle was still in as she was doing it. So yeah, if I ever need blood testing done again, I'd prefer it were here!
