I had a great visit today. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. Sign-in and check-in was a breeze. My wait time was minimal. The facility was clean and they have a tv in the waiting room. Judy was an excellent sonographer. She was professional, friendly and courteous. She explained the whole soft tissue sonogram to me, asked me if I had questions and made me feel comfortable. Just endured a scheduling nightmare that ended up wastinb 3.5 hours of my time -- and still no MRI. the people at the facility are fine, especially the sympathetic manager who helped me figure out other options. But the call center staff that schedule appts are poorly informed, and clearly do not communicate well with the clinics. So what went wrong? First, the scheduler scheduled my 2 MRI appts back to back -- turned out that can't be done in this case. Next, by text, they cancelled the 2nd appt -- with under 24 hours notice. When I dalled the phone number (I tried repeatedly), it just rang and rang -- no answer, no recording. So I called the phone number in a differnt text and was told, "I see your 2 appointments; they aren't cancelled. Just igore that 2nd text!" When I arrived they said, "No the 2nd appt was cancelled -- these procedures can't be done on same day. the call center is wrong. You should have called the clinic (I did but that was the number that went unanswered!) Finally to top it off, they informed me for the first time that this particular center only has the older narrow type MRI machine. So I'd have to lie perfectly still, on my stomach, on the hard surface, with my arm fully extended above my head, for 40 minutes. The tech was honest, "Some people can't do it." I tried it but found it unbearable, especially for my shoulder. Honestly, it reminded me of pictures of the contorted positions Guantanamon prisoners were forced into as a form of torture that leaves no marks. Try it sometime on the floor; you'll see what I mean. I finally left the clinic, vowing to never return to Advanced Radiology. Never again! read more

Efficient courteous staff and helpful. Had a mammo appt and needed an X-ray which all was done in about an hr and 10mins. There was a power surge during this time and many of the machines went down and had to be restarted/rebooted after overheating. The waiting area was clean and spacious, check in process was simple especially since you complete everything online now, biggest improvement. Each tech was knowledgeable and friendly I'd use this location again read more

A different imaging place in Columbia botched a sonogram six months ago and treated me like trash, so when my surgeon asked me to re-do, I asked for a recommendation for a better imaging resource. This time, at Advanced Radiology in Hanover, I was treated professionally and with kindness. The resulting images were quickly accessible through their patient portal. By looking at them, I could easily see what my doctor was looking for from the measurements noted on the image, days before the report was also posted to the portal. I enjoyed peace of mind from the courteous and well trained staff, and from the easily accessible images and report. read more

Easy to find and get. Located near Arundel mills mall in same building as the green turtle. Ample waiting room space, but was very empty when we arrived. Staff was friendly and helpful. TV in the waiting room and helped to entertain me while waiting for my wife. Not many magazines to read, but this was made up for with the free 5g wifi. read more

My daughter had a CT Scan appointment for 3. She followed the Barium swallow directions and ended up with diarrhea until 310, when we were ready to walk out the door. I had called to notify the office that we were running late but could be there in 5-10 mins. The central phone asst called Hanover and was told that the tech was leaving at 330 and the appt would have to be rescheduled. All that for nothing, was really ticked off that they would not work with us even for a few minutes. We are hoping to go to a different place next time. read more

I love this location. I love the staff. Very professional and personal and helpful. I go to the Dr's office at this location and my Dr. Put in for me to get an xray which l forgot to pick up on my way out. So when I got to the office which is in the same building. I told her my Dr requested an xray and l forgot to pick it up at the desk she went back to the office to get it for me. How thoughtful. She could have sent me back to get it but she insisted that she do so. They do take walkin's . I was a walk in and l didn't even have to wait long. They got me in and out and l was able to get back to work. I really do appreciate the service. Thanks guys and keep up the good work! read more

I don't normally post for small issues, however, this situation is different given the fact that I am immune compromised and we're in the middle of a pandemic. I called their call center twice to find a process that would minimize exposure. I was assured they had a process and was given a number to text to let the location know I had arrived for an x-ray. They never responded to the text so I finally called the location directly. I let the front desk know that I was outside and wanted to come in once they were able to process me. She said to come on in now. I'm not sure why she told me to come in given the fact that there was a group of people waiting to be processed. I signed in and left my phone number since they clearly couldn't process me then. After they called me back in they had issues processing the xray order so we had to stand inside their waiting room for 20 minutes with up to 5-6 other people. Once again, I reiterate, I have let them know that I am immune compromised. I would recommend finding some place else that has a better process in place. I don't mind waiting my fair share, but they don't follow their own process. An outside check in and waiting process would be extremely helpful. read more

I have to agree with other review, this place is really nice. My doctor needed some X-rays and this was the nearest location. I called to ask if I needed an appointment, but was told that a walk in was fine. I parked upstairs and there was plenty of parking. I put my name down and sat down. This location is clean and bright. Tv and magazines, also a large seating area. The ladies were helpful and helpful. My paperwork was printed and given to me to fill out to avoid giving my information out loud. I really appreciated it that. I waited for a few minutes and was called in. The technician was friendly and showed me the changing room and locker. My X-rays were taken and soon I was on my way. My experience was excellent and I will return whenever I need any of the services are offered here. read more

I normally do not review medical facilities. This time, however, I feel it necessary. I have had two false positives at this location within the past two years. One was for a mammogram and the other a chest X-ray. I had to get both procedures redone at different facilities. If you want a true read pick another location. The reason I gave it two stars is that the personnel at the desk and the techs are very personable. read more

This organization does not provide the name of the doctor who's performing the service. In fact, I could not find any list of any physicians who are working specifically at THIS site, or a list of Supervising Staff. I spoke with the scheduler, and my insurance, back-and-forth for 2 hours to ensure that ALL the paperwork was sent and that when we arrived (after a 1.5 hour drive in heavy traffic in the rain) that everything would be set. Upon arrival, they asked me for the "doctor's order"! Now... please tell me... WHY WOULD I HAVE THE DOCTOR'S ORDER...? The doctor didn't give this to me. Advanced Radiolgy forced us to reschedule. I called my doctor and requested the order be sent. Advanced Rad told me they would call me on Monday to confirm they had all the paperwork. No call came. Is this the service YOU want and expect from a radiology doctor's office? The Staff there was unsympathetic and appeard to just not care. There were four women sitting in front of computers when we arrived ... one was reading a paperback book, a novel. When your Staff act as if they don't care ... how can me and my family be sure that the doctor's care about their service they provide? read more

I had a mammogram in Oct that came up "normal". By March of next year (5 months later)husband felt lump. Went to Doctors hospital and mammo showed a 2 cm lump. Other tests showed cancer. My doctor later said probably was growing for 5-10 years. So much for Advanced Radiology. read more

Had an appointment for a mammogram today. The front desk reception was very nice in ensuring that my forms were filled out properly. The technician was absolutely wonderful - so gentle and very thorough with explaining every step of the process. There was honestly no discomfort with the procedure and she truly made it the best that a mammogram could be. read more
