    Veins after 1 visit.
    April B.

I've seen Dr. Hoyle for 3 treatments and I'm extremely happy with the results. I was "blessed" with spider veins during pregnancy and had a really hard time with the appearance. I made an appt and it was seamless. The staff is wonderful as well as Dr. Hoyle himself. He is very thorough and the results are proof.

What treatment is typically used at your office for facial veins/capillaries?

Hi there Denise! Dr Hoyle would need to conduct a consultation and seethe veins to determine the best treatment, but typically he would use either sclerotherapy injection or laser to treat them. If you would like to share your phone number we will…

I have varicose veins on my left leg and thigh region that causes me numbing/soreness when I sit longer than 30 mins at a time. Wondering if this is a typical treatment you can provide to help alleviate the soreness/pain I get? Thanks.

Hi there Tomas! Thanks for reaching out. To determine the best treatment we would need to perform an ultrasound to determine the root of the problem. The best treatment depends on which veins are malfunctioning, how deep they are, etc. I perform…

Yes we do. The office nurses will be happy to confirm your insurance etc.

Hello, how much is the varicose veins treatment?

This is virtually impossible to say with an in person consultation. It's like asking how much to fix my car but we don't know what's wrong with it. Many people only have spider veins but think they have varicose veins. Are we talking about 1 leg or…

What is the typical down time for spider vain treatment?

Originally scheduled for angiogram on left leg ordered as "urgent" in June, then cancelled 3 days…read morebefore the procedure because they did not have a heparin substitute in their office. Then rescheduled for the 1st week of July @ UCI-FV because the hospital did have the heparin substitute. Then two days before the surgery after I had arranged transportation and cleared my schedule, they AGAIN cancelled the procedure, giving me a nonsensical excuse about how opening the restricted artery would cause increased vascular edema, I got a second opinion, and was told that the excuse was nonsensical. When confronted they then sent me on a snipe hunt for more tests, then came up with yet a different excuse opposite of the first excuse. This after all insurance authorizations had been obtained. After I insisted proceeding with the procedure that THEY has initially determined was "urgent" months ago, they seem to be unable to coordinate with my clinical pharmacist, even though that information is clearly in my Epic chart, and I had provided that information back in June. I suspect that the issue is that since the procedure requires a more expensive anti-clotting agent than heparin due to my being allergic to heparin, and that they could not perform the issue (and bill for that part) in their center, that the issue was not really about the procedure, but about how much they would be reimbursed for the procedure and the heparin substitute. They were all gung-ho to proceed in June UNTIL they determined that it would require a non-heparin anticoagulant and that the procedure would have to be performed in the hospital instead of their clinic. I work with medical practices - have for more than 30 years. According to my inquiries, the heparin substitute apparently needed is not in short supply, its just much more expensive than heparin. Further, its been more than two months, even if it was back ordered in June, it is not currently on back order according to my inquiries.
