I highly recommend going to House of Optical to buy your glasses. I signed in when I walked in and…read moreshortly after Erin called my name. She walked around with me helping chose frames that would look good on me. Erin was such a delight to work with. She made it fun with her pleasant personality. I had been procrastinating purchasing glasses because I would have a difficult time chosing what frames to purchase. It was easy because of Erin's help.

First time going there today for an eye contact appt/ prescription …read more I asked dr. Friedman if they had samples and he said even if they did they don't have time for a fitting today..? Anywhere else I've ever gone they take the extra 10 minutes to see if they have samples in stock and if they do then they just do the fitment of the contact lens the same day. I asked one of the ladies at the front desk and they said he would have checked if they had in stock.. but I told them I don't think he wanted to even check... it turns out they did have the samples in stock so they let me take the samples but he needed to look at my eyes again with the contacts before he could give the prescription.. so they said they would ask if he could take a few minutes to do the "fitting" and he said no now I need to go back tomorrow for a 15 minute check so he can look at my eyes.. (when I was there anyway but didn't want to see if they had my prescription in stock) when he originally told me he'd call me back for the fitment when the trials came in in 7 days... he didn't even want to try.. and wants you to come back for 3 appts total before the prescription is issued. Stay away, lesson learned for us.

I've been a loyal Fraser Optical customer for years, always choosing their top-quality lenses and…read moretaking great care of my glasses. Unfortunately, this has been one of the most disappointing experiences I've ever had with any business. Within one year, my lenses have cracked three separate times -- always in the same spot and always within 1-2 months of getting them replaced. I have never dropped or damaged my glasses. This has never happened to me before, and I usually keep my lenses for 3-4 years without issues. When I went back to the store to address the problem, the manager was extremely rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. Instead of helping me understand why this keeps happening or offering a real solution (like checking or replacing the frame), he told me there was nothing more they could do and that after this remake, I'd be "on my own." When I said I might dispute the transaction since I wasn't getting the service I paid for, he told me to leave the store and sarcastically said, "good luck with the dispute." It was humiliating to be treated that way, especially in front of my wife and kids. I paid over $600 for what I thought would be quality lenses and customer service -- and instead, I left feeling disrespected and disappointed. I've always supported local businesses, but I cannot recommend Fraser Optical after this experience. Quality products mean nothing if the management doesn't stand behind them or treat customers with basic respect.

I have been going there ever since I had to start wearing glasses. The ladies and front desk staff…read moreare very kind to me. The two times I had to interact with Adam it seemed like I was a bother to him he was a little disagreeable when talking to me, angry almost. I drive out my way to go there because I liked them. I think I was over charged. I am not happy about my serve. Instead of him looking to see what I was charge for he kept questioning me very argumentative.
