Multiple other children went back who arrived after me, which was frustrating. I was told by the front office staff that I was welcome to reschedule my appointment, after waiting an hour with my toddler and newborn, or I could wait, but they did not know how long it would be. I waited another 30 minutes with literal tears streaming down my face as I'm rocking my screaming newborn who's literally starving because she doesn't have any milk due to the long wait time. I was offered formula from the back, which is actually a kind offer, however my child doesn't take that formula. I never imagined the wait would be that long and I would need a second bottle. Multiple sick children came in and were coughing and sneezing in the tiny, and albeit dirty, waiting room. There is no separate area for well kids/people to sit so you are forced to share space with unwell children as well, which is not common in practices now days. I was very excited about finding this practice because it's closer to my home and also my younger daughter had her visit there the day before and the wait time was under 10 minutes. I was shocked with the outcome of today's events, especially since there was no explanation other than "we have multiple bookings to fit everyone in". I don't feel it's fair for me and my toddler and infant to sit waiting for 1.5 hours for providers to double book themselves. I will be reaching out to management to see how this can be rectified to not happen again. My review is edited to show my experience and will be updated after speaking with management.

At first my care was okay, the man that was my first therapist would look at me like a meat on a…read morebone and it made me feel uncomfortable so they switched me therapist after I said something and she was great until she started adding patients to my schedule so instead of one on one therapy to focus on the healing I required there was less and less time for the focus on my healing, I was always stuck on the sit down bicycle when first coming in and again my healing not being met. And the very last time I met with my therapist, she scolded me for missing some appointments because I had strep(didn't want anyone else getting it), and I did accidentally have two appointments at one time, which I apologized for. And her schedule all the sudden changed and all the other therapist started leaving, so I was finally told after not seeing my therapist for almost two months that they were looking for somewhere else that took my insurance. They weren't doing my therapy any more.

The price is very reasonable compared to other offices in the Nashville area, which immediately put me at ease. 2. Dr. Steve Samudrala is incredibly kind and professional. He treated me like a regular patient, not "just an immigrant going through paperwork." He genuinely cared about my well‑being and even took time to give me thoughtful advice about some health conditions I have. That meant a lot to me. 3. The immigration team is absolutely amazing. Morgan scheduled my appointment over the phone and was so nice and patient -- she made me feel much better about what can be a very intimidating process. Amber is such a wonderful woman. She turned what could have been a boring and stressful immigration medical procedure into a great experience. On the day of my exam, I actually made two mistakes on my paperwork (completely my fault -- I misspelled my name first, then added an extra number to my passport number ). I can laugh about it now, but at the time I was overwhelmed with work, life, and immigration stress. Amber and another newer team member helped me redo my paperwork twice without any frustration, only kindness and support. They truly saved my day and made everything so pleasant. My USCIS application has now been submitted for about a month, and I'm very grateful I chose this office. I had my 2nd child with Diana Health in 2023 and now am about to have my 4th there…read more I had my 1st child in Nashville at St. Thomas & a Dr. from Heritage Medical. After having a less than ideal experience, I switched to Diana mostly because of Dr. Sizemore & Dr. Kellett. I was told they would be able to give me the best chance at a vbac (which I was able to successfully have because of Dr. Kellett & Diana Health). The practice has grown A LOT since my first visit in 2022, the waiting room is often packed but they still are efficient. I drive from Nashville to Smyrna which isn't too bad (20ish min) as long as I plan my appointments around traffic. Diana Health is often on time for appointments. There's been a few times a doctor has been delayed, but it's rare. I've probably had 60 appointments across 3 births and this has maybe happened 2-3 times. The doctors at Diana health are great - I've had Kellett, Sizemore & Grimm. They have 2 new doctors that I haven't had any experiences with. The midwives are really hit or miss. I've seen a lot of different midwives because I often schedule appointments based on time vs provider. I've found the midwives that have had children to be MUCH better than the ones who have not. I've had a few weird experiences with midwives so now I go to their profiles online to make sure they have had kids before I schedule. The ones who haven't have induced unnecessary fear & I think some of it is the difference between reading something in a book vs actually having the experience of being pregnant. Obviously there are probably great providers who have no kids vice versa but I don't have that much time to figure it all out. My experience with the ultrasound techs is great. I really like the women I've seen and they are kind, fast & overall pleasant. My experience delivering at the hospital has been great with the nurses and whatever midwife/doctor is on call. I've had some issues with insurance and billing. It's frustrating but I've been able to work them all out eventually. I don't feel like this part is better or worse than any other medical office. Overall, I'd recommend Diana Health. I truly believe everyone there wants what is best for me & my babies. They are collaborative & supportive of my choices. My only complaint is their online system for checking in and billing. It sends a truly unreasonable amount of messages about payments or saving a card on file. In the past the person at the desk just had me pay before my appointment when checking in, which feels more reasonable. I'm not going to save a card on file, there are too things that get messed up on the billing & insurance side. I have gotten 1-2 messages a week for the last 25 weeks.

I would recommend him to parents of teens going for their first well woman exam, to newly pregnant women looking for a doctor to care for both her unborn baby and herself, as well as women who have skipped this particular part of their overall care. He is personable and patient. He has a great staff as well... Ronda is the nurse I've always seen and she is very calming when need be and a hoot the rest of the time.

I don't know if I am doing this correctly, but I would honestly advise against using Sterling. I made an appointment months in advance because I was struggling with depression and wanted to pursue getting antidepressant medication in addition to diet, exercise, and therapy. I confirmed my appointment two days in advance, signed my forms digitally, and was glad about getting help for my condition. They responded to my confirmation with an additional message, so my confirmation was confirmed. Thirty minutes before my appointment, they let me know it had been cancelled. I called the office to ask why, and perhaps reschedule. I get it. Sometimes physicians get sick or have a family emergency. That would have been totally okay and I could have done the appointment another time. The receptionist pretty rudely informed me that my would-be psychiatrist quit a month ago, and that she was no longer with Sterling. I told her that was a bit confusing for me as the patient, because they still confirmed my appointment. She responded to this negatively as well, and when I asked about scheduling with another physician, she said that would be not likely or not possible because Sterling only has one psychiatrist and he is far too booked up. I really needed help with my depression, and I wish that Sterling hadn't given me what was basically a fake appointment. I also wish they weren't so rude when I was following up looking for care. If I had known my physician quit, or that the appointment wasn't happening, I could have gotten treatment somewhere else. Now, I am still in need of medical advice regarding my depression, but I'll likely have to wait a few more weeks to get advice somewhere else while my condition worsens. I can't speak for every physician or every patient experience, and I am sure that Sterling has some great physicians and patients with great experiences. However, my experience was pretty bad. My advice would be to either get psychiatric care somewhere else, or to pick up the phone and call to confirm appointments, because they'll apparently mislead you about availability and confirmation through both text and email. He is kind, very understanding, patient, well educated and takes his time with you, listening to all your issues & concerns. I am very lucky to have found him! I think out of ALL the family doctors I have seen in my adult life, he has by far been the best. The staff is kind and really take care of you. Every time I ever called to address a medication concern or refill they get right on it! They are efficient and really provide amazing service!!! The nurses are sweet :) Oh, and when taking blood, they rock! Never hurts...they have magic needles I think. lol! They have a great team here!!! Again, very happy here!!!
