Recenlty I used them for a mailing piece that I am sending out and was extremely satisfied with the end result. I have always found them to be very helpful and knowledgeable. Ben is very patient and willing to explain the benefits of certain printing methods and willing to go over several quotes and pricing for different variations to fit the budget. I understand that they have been in business for some time, and it shows. They are organized and extremely efficient. I have found their cost to be reasonable and often better than the competition. They were very willing to help even though they had many orders. They patiently helped me while I worked out file formats. Willing to provide proofs and had a quick turnout. That being said, they really do not have a good selection of papers for medium-ish pieces. I saw that they had many examples of paper backed with foam board, large banners (so I'm assuming their selection in large print jobs is good); however, I needed oddly-sized posters (~ranging from 20 in to 40 in on each side) and they were unable to provide paper with the thicker weight that I needed for these posters. (There was a FedEx in the area that was willing to print the posters, but it was expensive. Oh well.) TLDR; Kind people + fast but did not have the range of material I was seeking. read more

Very professional and attentive with personal service. Needed a banner done in a very short timeframe and it was done with no problem whatsoever and so easy. Ken really knew his stuff. I had checked out Kinko's right before that and it took so long for Kinko's to figure out what I even wanted, was a hassle, and they needed so much more lead time to do it. And Kinko's was more expensive too. Everything about my Advantage Grafix experience was so much more positive. Bottom line: I'm a new huge fan. Definitely would consider bringing my other stuff here to get done. Only slight negative is that they are only open 8am-5pm so may be hard to drop by before/after work. read more

Really professional. Very detailed!! I came in at 5pm and noticed that their sign said that they close at 5pm. I went in anyways and they were more than obliging to help me. They even printed for me right there and then (my project was due the next day) and I took it home 30 minutes later. The print came out very clean and crisp. They let me watch their process. Staples made me pay $27 to only print my 15x20 project. Advantage Grafix charged me $25 and also mounted on foam board! Staples and Kinko's also do not have staff that know Adobe Illustrator software. Will def come back again. read more

They printed part of our wedding invitations. They were very professional and it came out exactly how I wanted. The only draw back is that they weren't very cheap. I think it's because it would have cost the same if I had printed 1000 compared to the 150 I wanted. The cost was in the set-up. This was my first time having materials printed through Advantage Grafix and I am so happy with the posters I had printed! I had 6 posters that needed to be printed for presentations at a research conference and the quality of the printing was amazing for the price that I paid. I normally had my posters printed at FedEx in the past and paid much more for a slower turn around and lower quality paper. We went to Advantage Grafix for getting belly bands for our wedding invites printed. Ben helped us pick the right printing service for the bands we had designed and the paper we wanted them on. Despite estimating initially that it would take a day, he showed me a proof immediately. He even got his colleague to make minor design changes to make the cuts cleaner. Free of charge. Every year I put 14 watercolor paintings together into a custom calendar framework (using an old MS Powerpoint template), and bring it to Allegra (formerly Advantage Grafix). I am a difficult client, because it is really really important to me that each painting look good, even at the small size (5.5"x7") in the calendar. So Ken and Rafael worked with me over the course of several days and several visits to tweak individual images until I was satisfied. They are both amazing and very customer-oriented. I have been to 7 printers in the past month and this place was by far the worst. I went with this place only because the colors, though darker than what it should be, were slightly better than the rest. I felt it was unprofessional that they did not have a good range of paper selection readily available, but I went with it anyway. I went on a Tuesday morning and Ken told me my order would be ready by the afternoon. Then he said it would be ready Wednesday morning. When I called him the next day he said it would not be ready until 10am on Thursday. All I wanted was one 20+ page booklet printed and bound. Many places can do that in 15 minutes. The whole time I felt undervalued as a customer. Like I was not worth it since I wasn't a big client and only wanted one thing. In the end he called me on Thursday at 12:30pm to tell me that it was ready!!! I was on a very important end line. This was unacceptable. In the end I went with Maple Press in san Jose that was friendly and fast and even had better colors. All I got from Advantage Grafix were mocking smiles and broken promises.
