About 16-20 tap options ranging from seltzers to IPAs. Not a fancy brewery but it's a nice atmosphere

Wifey and I visited our daughter about a month before she graduated and stopped in at Adventure Brewing for a beer (or two). I was really happy they offered flights here, but I was really disappointed in the bartender who sat around doing homework rather than engaging anyone about the beer. When she finally DID engage us we found her very charming and knowledgeable...it was just at the end of our visit when we wanted some items to go. My flight included: Backpack Wheat - very nice hefeweizen 5.6 abv Fred Red - didn't have the kick I wanted 5 abv Speak Easy Strong - wasn't 'bad', but didn't do it for me 8.5 abv Tiramisu Stout - amazing coffee and chocolate aromas and flavor. It was delicious 9.5 abv Stonewall Stout - it was delicious, but not as 'thick' as I would have expected for a stout. 5.5abv Wifey had: Fred red Rod and reel nice summery Pilsner 4.5abv Mimosa seltzer- I would drink these all summer 5abv Adventure Shandy - another all summer beer. I'm usually not a fan of fruity beers and seltzer drinks, but the Mimosa Seltzer and the Adventure Shandy I could drink on the back patio all the time. We will definitely stop in here again

Little hidden in an office park, but still easy to find. Warm welcome and friendly barkeep. I enjoyed a wide variety of styles of their beers with the flight. It's nice that the flights are variable sizes so you can just get that extra one if you are having to decide between your last two. Very much an outdoorsy theme. Maybe get that growler filled before that nature hike. The indoor was spacious and they have a lot of covered outdoor seating. I didn't have any issues and thought the safety procedures were good. Check them out, enjoy some craft brew and regain some normalcy in this new crazy world. Cheers.

We loved everything about this brewery! Friendly staff, they allow pets and every beer was great! We went back every day on our vacation. If you are in the area, it is a must try.

Went here for my husbands birthday this past Saturday. First time - we drove a good distance - we were NOT disappointed. Brews - HUGE selection, great taste (and we had a group of 4 that drank stouts, IPAs, and sours). FOOD TRUCK Maria Cheryl's - food was great, tasted so fresh, great portion, and didn't break the bank. Lastly - service, I'm sorry I did not get thr gentleman's name who was serving brews - he was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable on his brews and very attentive. Oh let's not forget the FREE arcade for kids (and adults hahah!) thanks for a great time, we will definitely be back.

Delicious brews with local flavor! Would definitely recommend this place for a local drink after a long day.

3.5 stars, but will round up because of the Winter Ale. With so many breweries popping up, it's hard to keep track of them all. I'm not complaining - this is a good problem to have - but suffice to say, my palate is experiencing beer sensations I've never had before, and it's been...interesting. Fortunately, Adventure is one of the better breweries I've found in my beer-drinking explorations. I thought their 'standard' flight was just OK, but thought 2 of the 3 on the 'seasonal' flight were outstanding. I especially liked the Winter Ale, which was really spicy. The brewery itself is also a step up from some of their newer competitors. It's kind of tucked away, but the facilities look pretty good.

Nice little place to try out some local brewing. They don't have any food, but there was a food truck right outside of the brewery. I am not sure if the truck stands there always, but the food truck also had an interesting fusion of Asian food.

We've been to Adventure North several times and love it but we tried out the new Adventure at Eagle Village in Fredericksburg today and were very impressed! It's a different feel from the North location but a very cool spot. We loved chatting with Olivia, who was working behind the bar. She was so nice and answered all our questions and let us try many of the beers, which are all delicious. We will definitely be back to both locations!

I standardly like to eat at places that have a little bit more for me since I'm a celiac. There isn't a lot of choice. Many of the foods are bar foods. But in fairness, many diners go there for the drinks in the bar food. Their service is stellar from the welcome you get when you walk in the door to the concern and care with which they take make and deliver your order. I think anyone would love this local eatery.

Being a fan of the beers, I really was looking forward to visiting the brewery for lunch. I was a bit disappointed with the experience. We were seated right away and the dining room was only moderately busy. Our server took a long time to greet us. We ordered some beers to start and it took a long time before our beers arrived. Then we waited a while before our server returned to take our food order. When our food finally arrived it was good but not great. The veggie omelette with tots was fair, the tots were seasoned but everything else was not and a bit bland. Similarly the grilled chicken club was just ok. I'd be less critical if the service had been better, but it wasn't. I do recommend the beers. Get a flight and try several. Beers: 5/5 Food: 3.5/5 Service: 2/5

He took the time to explain everything in detail, which gave a great appreciation for how much goes into making their bourbon. After the tour, we had the opportunity to taste several of their bourbons, which was definitely a highlight. Each one had its own unique flavor profile, and it was a fun and engaging experience to compare them. Overall, a great stop if you enjoy bourbon and want to learn more about the craft. Just be prepared for a slightly longer tour, but it is worth it for the knowledge and tasting experience.

We had a bit of time to browse the store before the tour started. The tour was about an hour and included a free tasting. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and led us through the history of Virginia's oldest distillery. He was a bit hard to understand and talked VERY fast, which made it tough to absorb much of the info. However, for a free activity I enjoyed it. The best part of course was the tasting at the end. We were led through how to taste the spirits and given water and crackers as palate cleansers. We tried one of their gins, two bourbons, and the caramel bourbon cream liqueur. The bourbon cream was delicious and so smooth! I really liked the gin as well. We all ended up buying at least one bottle, so I'd say it was a success.

Fantastic! A "must try" and one we'll visit often…read more We're in the process of moving to Fburg and decided to have a nice dinner. I looked through Yelp and picked F132 as our first meal in the new town. Great choice! We didn't have a reservation, and it was Friday at 6pm, so we were placed on the bar seating wait list. We were seated in 20-25 minutes, which was super fast and great with us. Lesson learned for next time, make a reservation. But, if you choose or wind up at the bar, the service is great and seating is comfortable. The bartender was with us quickly and walked us through the Happy Hour specials. Drinks, apps, etc. they had a good variety of things in HH and many seemed interesting. But we were there for steak, so we let him know and he took our orders. In the meantime, he got us waters and bread service. While we waited, we watched the bar staff make some amazing concoctions including smoked old fashioneds, and all manner of flavors, textures, and mixtures. I don't really do cocktails but there were egg whites, chocolate sauce, fruits, mints and great presentations. They also were serving HH food and the Happy Dog looked filling: the truffle fries were served in what looked like multi-pound platters. I had the filet with French onion soup and corn salad. My wife had filet with mashed potatoes and black eyed peas. The bartender explained sides change frequently and are selected by what is available farm fresh. The corn salad was a sort of chilled street corn with some peppers and stuff. Very good and the corn was so fresh. French onion soup was delish! Absolutely perfect. Black eyed peas were great. I didn't try the mashed potatoes. The steak was the star. I don't know what's in their house rub, but it's perfect. And the steaks are cooked under an 1800 degree broiler so they get that perfect sear. Both were cooked at the perfect temperature. And the meat was trimmed so there was nothing but butter-tender beef. Let me be clear-THIS IS THE BEST STEAK I'VE EVER HAD! The service was perfect. My glass never fell below 2/3 full, and we never were waiting on service, but it was non intrusive and really made the experience so much better. A++! Wherever you are reading this, stop what you are doing, and RUN, don't walk to Fahrenheit 132. You'll thank me later.
