Knott's Berry Farm has a reputation for thrill rides, but if you have small children, you can spend your entire day at Camp Snoopy, a paradise for visitors under 48" tall. My nanny and I took the kids when they had a random day off school (since when is Easter Monday a holiday?), and we all had a great time. My boys love Snoopy and the gang, so the whole Camp Snoopy theme really resonated with them. They got to meet Snoopy and take a picture with him, even if my three-year-old refused to let him touch him because he was a stranger. They met the height requirement for every ride they wanted to go on, and there were enough of them to keep us busy until it was time to leave to eat dinner and go to bed. The rides weren't especially exciting for us adults, but they were cute and the kids had a blast. Food was okay and very expensive, but I guess par for the course at a theme park. We waited in a lot of lines, but none of them were intolerable, and we were able to do everything we wanted in a busy six hours. If you have little ones who enjoy Snoopy and theme parks, they will absolutely love Camp Snoopy. It's a sweet place to make memories with your kids before they're ready for the rest of Knott's Berry Farm. read more

Camp Snoopy at Knotts and the Ghost Town streets are my favorite parts of Knotts Berry Farm. It's been over 10 years since I've last visited Knotts Berry Farm and the whole area has changed significantly. This area is one of the best family friendly sections of the park. It offers rides, themed play areas, dining, and lots of character meet and greets! When I visited, I saw Snoopy for a Meet and Greet in early September. In 2024, Campy Snoopy was reimagined and had a refurbishment. The theme park updated a lot of attractions, refreshed dining, store, and ambiance enhancements. Some of the new highlights include the following Snoopy's Tender Paw Twister Coaster: It's a new family coaster in the air with a lift hill and a mild launch. Sally's Swing Along: It's a large bench swing. Camp Snoopy's Off Road Rally: It's a four wheel jeep ride with a more expansive track with theming to the Peanuts/camping theme. The Beagle Express train ride: This ride was updated. It takes riders through forested camp scenes, over a covered bridge, around the Snoopy landscape, and past cabins that are Peanuts themed! There are other rides in the area, but those attractions are similar to what was previously there. The theme is a summer camp and a camping adventure! There are so many elements to it with trees, greenery, walking paths, seating, and lots of storytelling details. This is such a great area at Knotts Berry Farm! read more

This is still my favorite part of Knotts Berry Farm. There are a bunch of attractions and rides that we love here such as: the Sierra Sidewinder roller coaster, Snoopy's Tenderpaw Twister coaster, Rapid River Run, the Linus Launcher (warning: if you are a female, this will hurt your breasts, as you are pressed down against the ride), and the Railroad- which has been updated recently. New & Improved! Also like the nicely decorated water feature/ garden, and the Huff and Puff Hill Climber game- there is always a Winner. Special editon Snoopy- Christmas print and Red Plaid, Woodstock- mini size/ fun size, and there is a Medium plush too. There are three sizes. I played against my son, and so, he got the Christmas Snoopy plush, and I got the Woodstock plush. We also are fans of the Camp Snoopy store too. You know it's been Camp Snoopy as a part of my childhood and it's awesome to share it with my twin daughters. Or go to model is definitely to go later in the evening. Skip the crowds and you can power through all the camp snoopy a few hours if not 90 minutes. That's not for lack of selection but just the super short lines. It definitely has a good mix of Adventure learning if you can call it that. Enough adventure, and thrill in a few rides to help the kids get used to a roller coaster or a ride that has some GeForce to it. The family restrooms in Camp Snoopy are probably the best in the park. It has one of the few water bottle stations that you can fill up your drink in. I miss the old push cart mine cars, there's a nice homage as a carnival type game there. You'll find an opportunity to meet Snoopy throughout the day. You know some of the fit and finish feels a little more carnival than your Disneyland type ambience and set up. However, you can't beat the savings the ability to get your all day. Drink filled up. Parking is pretty convenient overall I feel like it's amazing value and the kids have a blast even going this last week four out of the last five days. I wish there were a few more shows or something during the Halloween time. However, it's pretty much geared up towards horror nights. However, Christmas time was amazing both in Camp Snoopy, and all the lights and a walk over to the western side of the park. Knott's summer nights have been epic . read more

Easily the cutest section of the park! I know that they refurbished since the last time I went and added in that little Tender Paw rollercoaster at the end. If you want to find the most Peanuts characters, goods, decor, etc., this is the place to find all of that. Towards the front is a super cute shop with one side having a cute Camp Snoopy wooden clock and the other having a stained glass art of Snoopy and the Woodstock crew. At the front before entering, is Snoopy falls with the "hidden Snoopy" as well. I believe this area of the park also has decorations that depend on the season. Since it was spring and almost easter there were a lot of bunnies and eggs, and mushrooms? Fills in the space. Next to the shop is the meet and greet area with the one closer to the front being a Peanuts character (I saw Peppermint Patty and Schroeder) and there's a small stage area where you can meet Snoopy himself! Very adorable. Most of the rids here are for young children and I don't think I ever saw the wait times be more than 30 minutes as I wandered through. The prize games are also much cuter and some of them have guaranteed wins for the kids. Each ride also has Peanuts characters statues around them too, making it great for photos. We took our kindergarten grandson for his first visit to Knotts on a non holiday Tuesday. Camp Snoopy had little appeal to him. The addition of costly "kiosk" type "add-ons" was appalling. Face painting starts at $24! The chance at a "game" starts at $10. How cruel to do this the parents after having paid $62. Entrance fee for a child to enter Knotts. The old Camp Snoopy with the push/ pull rail car was better. I guess updating means " how can we " gouge" more money out of people. read more

Great for kiddos that want to enjoy some fun rides,and unlimited popcorn . So for $14,I purchased the snoopy pail which is $1 refillable. All the rides in camp Snoopy are age appropriate with height requirements so there is no guessing. I took my grandson and boy did we have a blast! YES,I said we. Some rides, you get to ride with the kiddos. This is pretty cool considering you are an adult lol. My grandson and I had the best time. We plan on renewing his pass real soon. My son purchased a birthday gift for me. He had recently made his rank of Eagle Scout and knows I love Snoopy. He saw Snoopy as a "Beagle Scout" (LN8973) and picked it out for me. Camp Snoopy is where you want to take the young ones when you go to Knott's because the main rides are too scary for their little souls. I'd say most of the rides here are suitable for the kiddos who are between 3-7 years of age. Our kidlet enjoys many rides here, from the mini (meaning super short ride) roller coaster - Timberline Twister, Linus Launcher (warning, you're basically lying on your stomach and going in circles...not for those with dizziness issues), to Pig Pen's Mud Buggies. Most of the rides here are themed to be Peanuts gang related. CS is the section directly to the right as soon as you walk through the entrance gates. In addition to the kid-friendly rides, there are Peanuts shows at the Camp Snoopy outdoor theater, and carnival-type games for prizes (added cost for these). Not a terribly exciting place for older kids and adults, but again, this area was designed for the little ones and looking around it seems the small fry really like it here. read more

If you are a Snoopy peanuts fan, it's a must visit. They have almost anything you want that is Peanuts. I love this store. And you don't have to pay to get into the park. This place does get crowded with a lot of kids as it was the peanuts celebration. I could not ride on the rides since I was too big hahaha, but it is okay. I enjoyed walking on it and collecting the Pokestops and make sure I get them all. They have a nice gift shop which is a decent size. I enjoyed coming here. Definitely kid friendly. There is a spot to take a picture with the peanuts gang as well. We saw Peppermint Patty and Schroeder. read more

Super fun place for the babies. Lots of ride options, several that the older kids can ride alone and several that can be ridden with an adult (no age or height restriction with those). The area is very clean and has a good flow. The only downsides are of course the wait times and the crowds both of which cannot be very controlled by the park. The one major flaw that I found in the visit to camp snoopy was the Christmas stage show (seasonal show). The entire show was about Lucy and Sally wanting presents and money and if they didn't get the presents they wanted they would return them and dislike the people that got them the terrible gifts. This was a very poor message to send to kids and adults alike. They didn't even try to do it in a funny way. It was pretty disappointing to say the least to hear such materialism from some of the most beloved Charlie Brown characters. I will not be seeing that show ever again with my daughter. I'm just glad she was too young to really understand any of it. read more

I am a regular here. Well...not to brag, but I am also the Duke here. When my kids were born, and I needed a place to relieve my sanity and get some exercise at the same time, this was the place I took them to. I park at the 2 hour spot and walk all over the theme park. Of course, the rides when they are tiny would be: Merry Go Round, Woodstock airmail, Balloon ride, Bus ride, Lucys Tugboat Now that they are older, it's more like: Roller coaster ride (BTW, I meet the maximum height requirement but don't get in cuz it's not a pleasant ride for adults) Log Ride (Ok, I know this is not camp snoopy but its a thrill ride for little thrill seekers) Ballon bounce- (what kid doesn't like this? way to get dirty and get tired at the same time) Pacific Scrambler(yes, this is not at camp snoopy also , but pint size kids will work with an adult on this ride. It is really fast and you will most likely lose your kid on the ground) I love knotts, I like how they always try to keep up with the competition by adding a ride here and there. For camp snoopy though, they really haven't done much. Well, they haven't done anything at all ever since I can remember. Hence, not quite a 5 star experience. Great for locals coming on weekdays. On the weekends, come early and you should be fine. Annual pass members like me will get in half an hour earlier. Worth the price. read more

Been over a year since I've been here A lot of improvements in camp snoopy!!! 3 new rides and not just for the tiny tots... My 9 & 11 year olds had fun in camp snoopy (as well as the rest of the park) The restaurant also has gone through a change New menu and menu boards New tables and chairs They took out the tv playing cartoons (sad) Put in a fresh topping bar for the burgers and dogs ... I was hoping it was a salad bar but sadly it wasn't. It did have a variety of pickles and peppers and both chopped and leaved lettuce ... Sweet! The trees were all lit up for the holidays ... I had a great time here on Friday night. It was good I bought a season pass.Much better deal than just buying one for the night.For a holiday week with kids being off I found there to be a lack in staff numbers.At 8:15 At front gate trying to purchase my pass it took me 30 mins to gain entrance. So that gives me 1 hr and 15 mins to wait for 2 rides.That was the real only issue,other than that the place was clean and they look like they upgraded the place quite well.The other thing was ,The funnel cake line was ridiculous at the end of the night.I looked at it laughed and turned around and left Knotts.Ill be back for that funnel cake when the line is not 50 deep. read more

My niece had so much fun at camp snoopy. She is 4. I thought she would be afraid to get on all the rides but she had fun and wanted to go on by herself even. I think it was because she saw all the other little kids having fun. It was her first time there. She is used to disney because her grandma takes her to Disney but I think she felt like a big kid at camp snoopy. It was prefect for her age. She didn't go on the roller coaster and she was a little scared of the one where youre flying on your stomach but she was eager to go on all the other rides. There are a lot of rides you can go on around the park as well with your little one. She also loved the bridge and the waterfall that you can run around in. Its a little expensive though since there are no kids prices for camp snoopy. It's the same price as an adult ticket for knotts berry farm. It food is not the best and not the healthiest choices. As much as I want to LOVE Knott's, I just can't:(. I got another pass for 2013, but I keep asking myself "why"? It's filthy, unkept, and needs numerous gallons of paint. What can consumers do to get Knott's to do some beautification!??!? I keep thinking if I throw some of my money their way, it might happen, but it hasn't:(. This used to be, and still could be, such a great place!! It wouldn't take too much money! Yesterday my group was sitting by the Hat Dance, having lunch and I saw a gardener caring for the marigolds. I don't think the flowers ever stood out to me before, and I love flowers. Then I thought about how they're paying gardeners to tend to flowers, but the ride looks like it hasn't been painted since I was a kid and rode that right over and over until I wanted to throw up, and we won't talk about how LONG that's been!! Although my boyfriend doesn't like kids, he wanted to check out Linus' blanket ride, watch the Ferris wheel ride, ride the Grand Sierra Railroad, and run under the waterfall into the artificial cave. As just about everyone knows, Camp Snoopy is the little kid area of Knott's Berry Farm. All the attractions here are pint sized so your little ones can enjoy some rides. There is no separate admission or any kind of rip off here. This is just a nice little area of the park that is set aside for the little ones. Camp Snoopy rides are for the three to five year old set. The rides are just the right size and thrill level for that age group. My six year old is getting a bit too big and wants more of a thrill. He has graduated to Bigfoot Rapids as his favorite. My biggest complaint about Camp Snoopy is I don't fit very well on any of the rides. At 6'2" I am too tall to even get on some rides. That's okay, because I really don't need to ride a mini roller coaster or mini scrambler or the tugboat or bus. The only reason an adult needs to be at Camp Snoopy is to enjoy watching the kids on rides that were designed for them. I do like the fact that Camp Snoopy is near the entrance to the park and is fairly compact. We have a year pass so we can park in the free three hour parking, go into the park, let the kids enjoy all the rides they want in Camp Snoopy and leave in time for a late lunch. Really enjoying the season pass with my son. Hanging out in Camp Snoopy is one of his favorite things to do as a large playground full of rides that mostly spin around. The "tummy" ride is basically where the kids are in a steel cage that holds the riders like a superman. He absolutely loves it. People are all very nice and are pretty casual with the guests as well. Another good feature is that the camp area is pretty clean with janitorial staff that are walking through and cleaning as they go. read more

Snoopys house is what the munchkin calls Knott's. She has always called it that ever since our first trip here years ago. This is something very special I think. The rides here are mostly pint sized and i cant go on many of them with the munchkin, however she never cared since it is a thrill to be there on the rides. A lot of great memories were had here and we still laugh at these things today. Granted Camp Snoopy is only a part of this park, it has likely made more lil ones smile then 99% of the rest of the world. Pro Tip: Visit the whole park and dont get lost just in this corner. This part of the park has a few rides that parents can do with their kids as well. I think my favorite part was when the munchkin and I were on rides together. However, she may have liked the ones that she could roll solo on. They have a mini rollercoaster which the munchkin loved and one time on that midget mobile had me realizing that I just cant fit and let her go on it forever more solo. The snoopy bounce house I was clearly too big for, but she loved to bounce in it as long as I would let her before moving on to another location. They also have face painting, air brushed tattoo's, and other random vendors throughout this part of the park. I know the munchkin loves the facepainting with a passion. Likely more than any other part. Definitely this part of Knott's is worth visiting if you have a lil one. if you dont have a little one, there is no reason to be here unless you are walking through. But the munchkin and I like it a lot. read more

I don't know why, but I remember the TV commercials so well. We went to Disneyland much more often even though Knott's was closer and cheaper, but after those commercials started running? Well, the Disneyland-Knott's discrepancy continued, but Knott's seemed like more of a kids' place even though it had always been one and had never really been one at the same time. The fake rocks and fake river and wonderful swaying rope bridge were fun. And I even saw Snoopy go across once, just like in the commercial. The little kids' rides were a disappointment--I was too old for them--but I will give this to Camp Snoopy: It felt thematically unified and complete. Here was this little summer camp with Peanuts characters in the northeast corner of Knott's Berry Farm. This contrasted with Magic Mountain's treatment of the Looney Tunes characters (or Bugs Bunny World, as it would eventually be called), which felt like an afterthought thrown in just to mislead parents into believing that a trip to Magic Mountain was worth it with little kids in tow (it wasn't and isn't). I don't know how Camp Snoopy has aged, but I'm glad it still exists, even though little kids probably have no idea who Snoopy and Woodstock(s) are, let alone Lucy and Charlie Brown. I went to Knotts Berry Farm in Buena Park, CA on 3/27/2017. I've been there many times before. One of my favorite things to do at Knott's is to go and have one of the artists at the Camp Snoopy Caricatures do a drawing of me. This time I had two done. The first one, of me as a ice hockey player was done by Arden. The second one, of me on the Log Ride was by Ali (Alicia). Both did a great job. We had an amazing time at Knott's Berry Farm - Camp Spooky. The last time the Hubster and I visited Knott's was pre-kids so we never went through Camp Snoopy nor did we stop by there to eat. We walked Camp Spooky and ran into a few characters in costume. There was a hunchback character that had all these kids crying... that one might of been a little too much. It wore a black cloak and had huge red eyes. Kinda freaked me out too. In between getting on all the rides, we took in all the cool decorations that are on display. This one here is a skeleton with a crazy machine gun. Our son got a kick out of it. Everywhere you look, you'll come across a Halloween decoration. The log ride even has decapitated heads hanging in the openings around it. We also walked through the Haunted Harvest and came across a few friendly scarecrows. I'm telling you, Knott's has the friendliest employees. They take the time to have conversations with the kids and really make them feel welcomed. We caught some of the high-energy Spooktacular show put on by some of the Peanuts gang too. They sang popular songs and even did the whole Thriller dance. It was fun watching all the kids dance around. The characters walked down into the crowd and boogied down with everyone. Such energy! Although, the entire time I was watching them I couldn't help but wonder just how hot the cast members inside the costume were. I mean, I was hot and I was standing in the shade! Finally, we grabbed a yellow bag and went trick-or-treating. There are five different locations at Camp Spooky where you can stop and grab some candy. It's all very organized and not the crazy-fest you'd think it would be. We got a few pixie sticks, lollipops, Skittles and a pack of cookies. And I am totally doing the mommy thing and taking the candy for myself. My son can have the cookies. p.p.s. Quick story: I sat down to feed the baby and left my two-week old phone behind on the bench. It was about a half hour until I realized that I didn't have it on me. I ran back and of course, it wasn't there. You know where it was? At the Information Center! Yes, a Knott's employee or some very, very nice Knott's visitor turned in my phone. I couldn't believe it. I'm such a lucky girl. I would have been devastated if it hadn't of turned up. read more

Knott's Berry Farm itself is a very entertaining venue, one I would recommend to tourists and locals alike. The rides are thrilling, the lines aren't ridiculously long, and it's close to my mom's house, so I like it a lot. However, it is lacking in a lot o areas: not enough trees (shade), no shows really, and it's hard to find picture opportunities with Snoopy and other characters. It lacks the magic of Disneyland and the special effects of Universal Studios, but what it does lack in either, it makes up in good rides. Some of them are too thrilling in my opinion, but if you like the upside-down, corkscrew, backward types rides this is a good place to go for it. On a hot, sunny day, it's not too good to go since shade is lacking here and on non-busy days not all their rides are open., but parking is easy and it's cheaper than the other parks (if you could find a nice coupon deal), so it's well worth the money you spend on a ticket. If you have the time and money to go, it's worth a trip. Prepare to be exhausted by the end of the day though! read more

A great place to play with The Girl (age 4). We love the improvements they've made, but I wish they didn't get rid of the sling go style Nascar ride they had. All the little kids loved that one! And the new flyer style ride doesn't seem to fit in Camp Snoopy. It should have been in the boardwalk or something on a grander scale. The playground is nice. There are characters always out to greet kids. The show is always fun and interactive. My only complaint is that they should have more employees in each attraction during peak times/days. One helping with gates, one loading, and one on controls that also checks seats. I think the ride capacity could be so much better and move more people through if they made some changes to the attendents roles. Maybe even have someone at the queue to make sure the right side people are getting in line instead of waiting until they get to the front loading area. read more

I have such great memories of Camp Snoopy. Every summer my Grandma and Grandpa would take me to Knott's multiple times and watch as I rode all the kiddy rides. As a grown up I still appreciate all that Camp Snoopy has to offer. They have small versions of just about every ride in the park and still have some of the nostalgic stuff from my childhood like the huff n puff and balloon ride. Camp Snoopy is the place to be for the younger set. My daughter enjoyed the rides; her favorite is the Balloon Ride. The rides are definitely kid-friendly but not family-friendly like at the mouse park (see what I did there?). PROS: - Character Meet & Greets - Kid-friendly rides - Entertainment shows - Holiday-themed decor / shows / entertainment CONS: - Ride times are short (about a minute); can be frustrating during longer wait times - Not many family-friendly rides that I can take my 7-month on - Not a lot of shaded areas; this may sound like nitpicking... until you're standing in the grueling hot sun in line and your wait time to get on a ride is longer than the ride itself. A decent alternative to DL. Will be back again for sure. read more

Got in free this month because I had a family member who is affiliated with the LAPD. YAY!!! So, for a Sunday there were no lines and we got to ride all the rides right away. Most of the rides were open but a few were closed like the log ride but it was way too cold for water rides anyhow so I don't feel like I missed out on much. I forgot how bumpy Ghost Rider was but my overall ride experience was great! My 4 year old had a blast at Camp Snoopy with her dad. Since it wasn't packed we were able to get everything done quickly and we didn't stay for as long as I expected which was good because I don't feel all worn out. The only negative on this particular trip was it was freezing.......SO if you are planning to go this month you better bundle up! gloves and all....... read more

There are 2 parking spots for knotts. We parked across the street from camp snoopy and had to walk across. There is parking inside the park bit I decided not to risk it. This is my sons first time here at knotts. The lines were pretty long when we got there at 10am. This was my first time at Camp snoopy as we would always just walk past it during knotts scary farm. He loved most of the rides in camp snoopy. The hot air balloon, the little planes with the lever that goes up and down, the train, the trucks with the annoying horns, the swings, the dune buggies, the school bus (he ddnt like that one), and the boat (he ddnt like that one either). We waited a very long time for the ferris wheel. When we got on it started creaking and making some scary and ugly noise. They eventually had to let everyone off to see what the problem was. Pretty scary! We were in camp snoopy for a good 4 hrs. Left the park around 8pm and he fell asleep like a baby in the car. read more

Although - the line at Snoopy's GR8SK8 was from hell (it looked like a 5 minute line but turned into a 70 minute wait, WTF!), - the guess your age within 2 years game is cruel to place by toddlers (our 3 year old was so sad to give up $5 and not even get a consolation prize when his age was of course correctly guessed), and - the kids meals are $9.99 and adult meals are $14 and up, the REST of Camp Snoopy was charming and fun and worth it. Many fun rides and games in a nice shady place with a running river and occasional shows. Despite having bouts of annoyance and anger, it was overall a very nice time. read more

When you cut Disneyland's tickets in half and your daughter still has a good birthday it is a score. I grew up going to Knott's and I am glad I can being my own kids to Knott's. I wished the current company that owns Knott's would sell it back to the Knott's family because I feel it lacks the idea behind the park. However I guess I can understand as it is business and there is no heart in business. I cherish the parts that are still a live at Knott's and I hope someone steps up and takes it from the corporation. Thank you for letting my family and I go to your park. read more
