I thought we were going to be stuck there over the July 4th weekend with no car dealers, car rental places, or repair shops available. But I called Deal's on the morning of the 4th, and explained the situation, and not only were they open, they were able to see me right away and check out the car, despite it being a national holiday. Fortunately, it was a minor problem and they were able to fix it and reassure me. They only charged me a small fee and I was on my way, and the car was fine the rest of the trip! Road trip saved. I really can't thank these guys enough; they restored my faith in humanity.

I called them…read moreon the phone a couple days ago and their prices for metal are the highest I have ever heard of which is great. They pay $10 per 100 pounds for scrap metal. They are busy too as I saw at least 4 or 5 big machines that look like backhoes working. On Scene: I pulled up and called weighed with the scrap metal. Then, I unloaded it. Next, I got weighed again and they subtracted the difference. However, you have to drive down about 300 yards to get paid. Furthermore, you get paid by check. Pretty cool place to do business.

My engine light came on over the weekend and I needed to get a new thermostat QUICK. They fit me in…read morefirst thing Monday morning and were so helpful and friendly. They explained what the issue was and got it fixed in a few hours. The pricing is also extremely fair. I will not be going anywhere else but Darby's Tire & Auto. As a younger woman who clearly didn't know much about the issue, it was nice knowing they didn't take advantage of that like other experiences I have had in town. I recommend all out-of-state parents send their kids vehicles here!
