Rented a double decker boat, check in was easy..the dock workers were on time and helped get us on our way... the boat had 2 slides but the water pump didn't work but that was a none issue... on our way back to the docks the engine died on us, we called them and they came out and towed us... we expressed interest in renting another boat on Saturday and they set it up free of charge for our troubles now that's customer service... highly recommend this company and will be renting from them in future visits to PCB! read more

Easy to rent with online. They didn't have the waiver though I filled it online and had to fill it another one when I got there. I might not recommend them though because it was so slow. We got the 40hp pontoon boat that normally does great with other companies but ours may have just gone about 2mph. Instead of taking the normal 20m to get to Shell island it took us about 40 mins to get there and about 55 to get back with no wind. When we got back they told us that they put limiters or governors on their boat so that people can't go full speed as some people had run into things at full asked. Knowing that we won't rent from here anymore but others may like it slow. others may like slow but it sure does take away being able to stay out on the island longer. E should've known something was up when they said that the speedometer was broken and the gas gauge didn't work but that we shouldn't worry because it has a full tank. If you can get them to remove the governor with working gauges I would say go for them as the people were nice. We just didn't like getting passed by everyone like we were going backward. read more

We rented a pontoon for half day that started at 11 am. Made reservations online and it definitely made checkin a lot faster when we arrived there. We didn't see that you had to arrive an hour before your time before making the reservations, but fortunately we made the reservations several hours before. Also recommend doing the rental waiver online. If you do all these things, then you'll have plenty of time to checkin, move all your stuff on the pontoon (we brought a bunch of beach gear and food), and have extra time on the pontoon. Colby did a great job orienting us to the pontoon and gave some tips on where to visit. The map that is on the boat is definitely not to scale, so recommend using your GPS on your phone. And surprisingly, everywhere we went had cell service. Our goal was to go to Shell Island and eat lunch there and find some shells. The kiddie pool and the sand bar are definitely worth visiting. We decided to use Adventures at Sea since the one at St Andrews Park was closed on Mondays. Definitely glad we used Adventures at Sea. read more

Highly recommend for family oriented fun in the sun! We booked two cruises with them while on spring break. One was a dolphin sunset cruise and the other was a private snorkel tour. The dolphin tour was amazing. We saw a huge pod of dolphins including baby dolphins and our captain knew exactly where to go! We also were able to stop off at shell island to explore all the while the sun was setting. Could have asked for a better experience. The second tour we snorkeled in the bay where we found countless starfish and sand dollars! Also we saw sea turtles and some dolphins as well. A large group rented a Banana Boat service from this company at the Edgewater Resort this past weekend. The service was $40 (billed at $44) for 15 minutes of ride time. The banana boat ride provided was only 8 minutes in length. We asked Devin, the contractor at the booking station on the beach, why the ride was so short. He stated that the ride was "approximately" 15 minutes. We said we had video and photos showing the ride was 8 minutes, and that 8 minutes is not a reasonable approximation of 15 minutes. Devin then proceeded to call me "Honey" and state that he never said 15 minutes but rather that the ride was based on mileage. He then claimed that he service was $40 for 3 miles of ride. However, in order to travel 3 nautical miles in 8 minutes, the ride would need to be executed at 22.5 knots continuously, and a banana boat is only rated to 15 knots. When I stated that the girls did not receive a 3 nautical mile trip, Devin then proceeded to point to the ocean and explain to me that the water is not land, and I simply didn't understand how it worked. I asked to see a copy of the signed contract, and Devin refused to give it to me. I reviewed a blank copy, and it is silent regarding fees, time, and mileage, which means the oral offer is what controls. We asked Devin to provide the service paid for or to refund half the fee as we only received half the service. He refused. I attempted to contact Edgewater management, who told me that this company is subcontracted by the resort, and anyone who would be able to help was not available over the weekend. I asked for a call back the following Monday and did not receive one. As as result, though I rarely write reviews, I am writing this one to warn potential consumers about the fraudulent practices of this company. Buyer beware if you consider contracting a Banana Boat ride from watersportsspc.com at the Edgewater. They are happy to take your money, but they may not provide the service. If you ask for the full service to be provided, you will likely be met with contempt, gaslighting, and stonewalling. read more

My family and I had a great experience here! Lawrence was our tour guide - a young guy who's lived in Florida his whole life. He was super friendly, knowledgable, and took us to the best spots. We saw dolphins, sea turtles, and took a tour of the nearby island. Our group was about 10 so we split into two different boats and everyone was encouraged by the experience even on an unusually windy day! It's BYOB and we brought snacks to enjoy as well. This was the topper on top of the cake for this 50th Birthday/Family Vacation!!! My husband rented a boat and we went out on the Gulf of Mexico with Captain Jennifer (J-Lo) Everything was seamless from reservations online to arriving and completing standard documents. We got on and sailed out. It Was Beautiful and Relaxing. J-Lo was super nice because she became our DJ as well. Playing all the different songs my husband asked for. We saw the dolphins, seagulls, and just the beauty of being surrounded by the glorious waters of God. His creation is priceless. There were four of us and we lucked out with our own boat (max in each boat is 6 passengers). A few minutes in, we were already seeing dolphins everywhere! It was super fun to get so close to them and enjoy a great day on the ocean. We stopped at Shell Island for a bit and while walking the shore, saw a stingray and baby turtle. Even if we just stopped to relax on the beach (yay fine white sand!) that would have been good enough in itself. Our guide was Jennifer and helped make the trip fun with her down-to-earth personality. $50 per person including ticket and tax. Booked a full day pontoon rental, and we had a blast! I highly recommend that you have someone on the pontoon with you with boating experience! The only things I would ask them to improve on is how they conduct the safety meeting prior to departure, and upgrade the ladders on the pontoons! Horrible & deceitful check-in manager, chaotic and carnival style long lines while waiting in the blistering heat, exterior of pontoon rented was nice, while interior had a broken off armrest, front gate that wouldn't stay latched ( had to use a tie rope in several knots to keep it closed ) the steering wheel had a major squeaking noise during turns, and seating up front wasn't good, along with no speaker or Bluetooth ( that was minor but other pontoons we have previously rented have had this ) Parking attendant only slowed traffic down coming into the lot and did not help guide us to a parking space, but did use profanity ( we had our child in the car ) while he was ranting about people who had yelled at him, he said he would "F@&k people up" and then told us to have a blessed day. The worst was the older unnamed check-in lady ( she refused to give us her name ) We made our reservation over the phone and was told all of the payment would be taken when we arrived. Upon arrival we were told our $30 off coupon is only valid for rentals secured online. I pointed out how the ad does not say that anywhere, but instead tells you to MENTION the code BEACH for $30.00 off. Unnamed lady says with a smirk "The ad says some restrictions apply" she also said if we had looked further back in the same coupon book on another page towards the back, the online code was on THAT page ‍ ... she then insisted EVERYONE including our family, got the $30.00 off that day, and nobody had to mention any code word to get that special rate . When I told her she was deceitful she said "stop calling me names" I never raised my voice, or used foul language, but yes... I stated the facts... she was absolutely being deceitful and dishonest. There are much nicer rental companies in the area... this place does heavy advertising, and has the beach attendants sending people there... it is chaotic. Do yourselves a favor and go elsewhere. Jennifer is, by far, the best dolphin tour guide we have ever had. She was fun, friendly and informative and it's easy to tell she genuinely loves her job and respects sea life.
