If you're looking for a fun yet classy activity, Adventures Decanted is the place to go! A group of 7 of us reserved a slot for a bachelorette party, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Adventures Decanted has a bit of a different take on wine tasting where it's a "choose your own" environment - perfect for a group with different preferences / tastes / amounts. They started us off with 1 curated wine, and then we were off to races. We each got a card with an amount we could spend to try different amounts of different wines. They had organic wine, women-owned wines, sweet wines, international wines, and more! Our group reserved a surprise for our bride to do a saber champagne pop, and the team was amazing putting together the surprise for her! They even filmed the whole thing with one of our phones to capture the moment. Some of the amazing staff that worked with us included: Zoey (our wonderful, very attentive waitress), Nina, Shelby (one of the owners), and JD (who helped video our bride and our group popping some champagne). After a week of touring the area, including dining at two of the finer dining restaurants, we found this delight! The food was the best we had all week! The steak was better than any of the steaks we sampled. The homemade pasta was spectacular. And, the dessert was outrageous. The service was well balanced. With regular visits to ensure we had everything we needed, but not cloying or disrupting conversations. They went above and beyond in offering us samples of wines we might enjoy too! Out of town Review: we're from Houston home to some of the best food you could ever ask for, so we are trying to give Grace. We also love to cook and are pretty talented, so can be kind of picky. I want to start by saying the staff, the host, managers everyone who work there were absolutely delightful. The atmosphere and the wine vending machines are pretty amazing, however we were disappointed in the food. I ordered the pappardelle braised oxtail pasta, the flavor was absolutely their but the noodles were so undercooked it was hard to enjoy. $40.00 dish. My boyfriend ordered the braised short ribs which were extremely extremely dry. $40.00 dish. Very underwhelming on the flavor as well. When you're spending 40+ per dish, we expected more. I did dabble in the wine vending machines, pretty cool concept and we had one cocktail. Tangerine dream, was pretty good. WORST.EXPERIENCE.EVER. We arrived for our dinner reservation and were unfortunately seated at a piano covered in a table cloth. Nope. Awkward setup for a party of 4 and nowhere to put your legs and chair couldn't slide in. Staff was kind enough to reseat us, but it was in the bar. While the kind host was trying to get us settled, one staff member threw a fit and was disrespectful to the staff that were trying to help. She belittled them about where they sat us right in front of us and then continued to berate and scold various staff members for the next 15 mins until we were becoming quite uncomfortable. We finally approached her and asked her if it was possible to have discussions with staff out of patron sight as it was really awkward to; 1. be talked about within ear shot, and 2. listen to all that negativity over our attempted conversation. She rudely told us to mind our own business. Shocked, we decided to leave. When approaching her again to tell her we were going to leave and to please close out our tab, she said, "Good. Please leave." Again...shocked. We asked what her name was and she refused to tell us. When we asked to speak to the manager or owner she told us she was "calling the police" before she marched away. (((What?!?))) Double shocked. We approached the bartender to apologize and explain that we were leaving and ask who she was. Turns out SHELBY was...wait for it...ONE OF THE OWNERS! Triple shocked. We booked our reservations a month ago and were so excited to try their pasta experience and support a local establishment. However, it turned out to be one of the worst dining (and we didn't even get to dine) experiences we've ever had. The great Southwest Airlines debacle of 2022 put an end to our plans to ski in Big Sky, Montana, so we had to quickly organize a trip to Winter Park over New Year's Eve. We were very lucky to find air fare (on United!), a rental car, a great condo, and the best party in town at Adventures Decanted in Winter Park, all at last minute! They not only squeezed us in to the after party, but also found us seats for the excellent four course dinner with excellent wine pairings. The oyster bar and pre-dinner drinks were worth the price of admission alone. The staff was very nice as was the atmosphere. The decor was impressive, and the evening's vibe was fun and lively. I can hardly believe we were so fortunate to luck into this event! I want to go back here the next time I have the opportunity to travel to Winter Park and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great wine shop or place to go after a great day on the slopes. read more

The wait staff was amazing and took amazing care of us caring to our needs and but the final straw was the food and waiting forever. Seems more like a tourist trap rather than a wine destination. I was thankful they waived all of wine at the end of the day because that probably would have been an additional $50. But overall disappointing, and sad to have went to spent a birthday there. Shelby and Toni know how to take care of their guests. Every time we stop in, they greet us like old friends and always know what wine we enjoy. The food is great and Dom is a talented chef. Oh my gosh! What a great place we stumbled upon last night. Great selection of wine by the glass or bottle. We initially sat in the bar and had our first beverages (husband had beer), but then moved to the window overlooking the town. We had both the green salad and the winter salad for starters, and both made with super fresh veggies and served with a delicious champagne vinaigrette dressing. We then had the Cauliflower bites with the hot honey garlic sauce, and it had a kick but was great too. Then came the pizza. We ordered one of each for 4 of us, the Margherita and the Peppered steak pizza. Truly the best pizza in the valley. Crust was perfectly light with both a crisp crunch and a light chew. They do automatically charge a 20% tip surcharge, but it was explained to us that they spread that amongst both front of the house and back of the house. We were good with it as the service pretty much came from everyone. The chef, the bartender, busser kept water filled and the manager/owner. Absolutely loved it! We popped into this place on a whim and were so happy we did! As we walked in, the owner was already pouring us tastes of rose to sip while she walked us around and showed us how things work. This place is like First Draft in Denver, but with wine. You choose how much money you're going to put on a card, then the card goes it the wine dispensing machines, where you choose what you want and how much of it. You can see the prices for 1 oz, 3 oz, or 6 oz pour. They have a GREAT selection--seriously, so much wine. On top of that, we had a delicious charcuterie board with generous portions.
