This place is super easy to book and has a great deal on Yelp! We showed up a few minutes early and checked in inside, then they do an introduction and put you with your raft guides. Our guide was so cool-- her name was Alysha , and she was very funny and kept us safe the whole time ! There was one crazy part when we were spinning like crazy through the rapids and she literally did a handstand in the back of the raft -- it was wild. This place was great, professional and fun-- I highly recommend!

We have rafted the Ocoee River several times over the years and always book with Adventures Unlimited! But this most recent time with Trey as our guide felt pretty special and definitely was a fresh take on a familiar experience. There was just something about Trey's presence which made it clear our trip was not destined to be business as usual. His instructions were hands down the best we've witnessed, being delivered with an impressive economy of words that was both precise (but effective) and flavored with his epic dry humor. It was also a little uncanny how he was able to just intuit our group's comfort level, relative capabilities, and what we were hoping to get out of the day. The whole experience felt tailored to our interests but with very little explicit communication from us. It was genuinely thrilling in the sense that we did some maneuvers we had never attempted in past trips but while also feeling well prepared for each obstacle and thus incredibly safe too. His calm confidence is clearly hard earned through years of experience and we found out later he has been rafting this specific river for like 15 years and that he considers it his personal favorite. I definitely believe that as Trey was a wealth of knowledge about the history and present day operational aspects of the river too which added an unexpected learning dimension to the trip. Our exceptional experience with Trey is just one example of many why we keep rebooking with Adventures Unlimited.

Awesome outfit and crew at Adventures Unlimited. Jeffrey was great with our boat instructions and safe fun on the river.

I decided to take the wife and kids for a quick trip, and this looked like fun. Our guide was amazing, and the trip was incredible! I highly recommend these guys as they were awesome! Be prepared to laugh and smile and have the time of your life!!!

This place is the best. There are other rafting outfitters in the area, but this one has everything. A great bar and grill, live music in the evenings, camping, cabins and the best guides. Jimmy Johnson was our guide and he was awesome. He let us know he could make our ride as wild or mild as we wanted. We opted for wild, but that didn't mean dangerous Jimmy had us trained and navigated so the river did most of the hard work. He still had us doing 180's, bouncing off rocks and riding class IV rapids. The scenery was beautiful, our guide had so many interesting stories about the area. Highly recommend this trip and you will find it something you'll want to do again and again.

The beautiful fresh produce complimented the expertly cooked and seasoned proteins. There wasn't a single thing we ate that we didn't enjoy. In between meals, we made sure to stay active to earn our appetite. The property offers access to great trails in the Smokies which we took advantage of as well as a lovely outdoor pool with a view. The room itself was pleasant as well. It was hard to leave the luxurious king bed every morning. The heated floors in the bathroom and the comfy sitting area made our Holly Springs cottage suite the perfect home base. We were also assigned our own golf cart to get around the property (although we chose to walk mostly to take in the views). Service was top notch and the staff were wonderful. Every evening they surprised us with a little treat for our anniversary which was very thoughtful. We couldn't have asked for a better stay!

We decided to take the plunge and we are so happy we did. It's a 3 night minimum and frankly a great idea to take it all in. The culinary experience is nothing short of a Michelin experience for dinner. The price is all inclusive , sans your alcohol. The service is world class and the staff makes you feel so welcome. Whether it's a special occasion or a bucket list item , I would say it's a must in your lifetime !! Side note- We thought this would be a one and done. However, the level of experience and ability to unplug was extremely therapeutic. Hope you enjoy the review by LIKING it and sharing feedback :).

The staff were friendly and helpful. We were very happy that our small dog was allowed to join us. The staff shared with us that they allow dogs on tritoons, canoes, some stand-up paddleboards, the fishing boat, and select pontoons. Arrangements should be made in advance, especially pontoon rentals, so plan accordingly. The day came, and we checked in for our reservation. We were kindly greeted and given the rundown and took care of the paperwork. Afterward, we looked around the marina main office at the souvenir goodies provided such as t-shirts, mugs, stickers, and a few locally made items displayed. They also have items like sunscreen, snacks, and sandals available to purchase. A restroom on the outer of the building is provided, so take advantage before boarding your boat rental. The pontoon boat we rented ($180 for four hours on a weekday) was practically brand new and perfectly maintained. It was very clean and had a nice setup. The staff provided a map of the lake along with some tips on where to find the rope swings and the islands you could park at. If you visit the islands, be aware there's red dirt. Be sure to clean your feet before boarding the boat again to avoid any cleaning fee after you bring the boat back to the marina. We had a great experience that made repeat customers out of us. Beautiful, clean, and quiet lake, friendly and helpful staff, tip top boat rental with affordable pricing, AND dog friendly- great all around, and we highly recommend.

The cabin had a small kitchen, dining room, living room and den, 1.5 baths, 4 bedrooms, and 2 lofts. The bedrooms and lofts had a mixture of twin beds and double beds. The only way to get up to the lofts was via wooden ladders. The cabin was old and creaky. In the middle of the night, it's hard to move around the cabin without waking anyone up. The furniture was kind of old too, but it served its purpose. The beds were firm and the pillows weren't much of pillows at all (very flat). Probably the most surprising thing about the cabin was that it had a small mounted TV hooked up to DirecTV. College football, FTW! Amenity-wise, the only thing provided were bath towels and some disposable cups at the sink. No soap or shampoo. It seemed we had enough towels, but not everyone took a shower. Kitchen-wise, the cooking utensils, plates, and silverware were not enough for 12 people, so we had to make due with what we had. Outside, we were next to the marina and lake. We had a small shore and dock all to ourselves so that was nice. We went swimming in the lake, which was pretty clean. There was also a fire pit. We went to the nearby convenience store and picked up some firewood and a fire starter kit and made smores at night. The driveway was gravel and roundabout. Overall, the cabin was clean and in adequate condition. It was bare bones, but certainly a fair value.

Only complaint was the lighting was a tad dark during the night but maybe it's to help you relax. Loved the view of the lake from the cabin, it was beautiful to wake up to. We were also able to bring our dog for a $60 fee. House rule does say no dog on bed so keep that in mind. There was a little doggy station on site and we were able to walk him around the property to potty. He enjoyed his stay and we liked going to the nearby trials in the morning/afternoon for a hike.
