I have witnessed many changes; upgrades and improvements to the facility as well as the hiring of more highly qualified specialists. Slowly and carefully dealing with the recent passing of my birth mother, my care team has advised and ordered many tests. Most of us are aware that roots run deep. My mom suffered with heart issues and one of those issues caused her death. I arrived early for my bloodwork and EKG. I have two follow up appointments next week and will keep you posted. Everyone is always so nice and professional. They take really good care in making me comfortable knowing my fear of needles. There is one thing that recently disappointed me. That is finding out that my primary care physician is retiring at the end of this month. Something I was not aware of. The receptionist kept stating that a letter was supposed to be mailed out. I'm happy I will get to see her next week, say goodbye and wish her well.

Waited total 45 minutes to get in for simple blood test, even though only 3 others waiting. I had to wait because a certain employee was the only one who could type my order in system. And, ...finally here she comes into office with a coworker, from outside, carrying food bags, carrying shopping bags, laughing, walking to and fro to desks, back rooms, across waiting room. I knew immediately I was going to be delayed. Why, they're focused on having a baby shower today. Asked if she was on lunch break, her cohort said no, not on lunch. Woman sees me up in waiting room and as she's walking around, clearly not doing her job, sees me holding paper and says I'll take that. And,...another 20 minutes before she gets to her desk. Asked at front desk for manager phone number from woman who actually was checking people in, agreeing with me. She gives me a phone # for the hospital in Harvey Dialysis lab - WRONG NUMBBER. Yesterday advised I am only here for blood test, not MRI listed. ADVISED THREE OF THEM. Today, receive call to schedule MRI. The utter stupidity, attitude of "I'll get my work done with you after I'm done shopping, laughing, planning baby shower, walking around getting nothing done, ..." is OUTRAGEOUSLY UNPROFESSIONAL. You are either WORKING or on a LUNCH BREAK. Since when did low level employees get the idea that their personal needs are met first, during work hours, even though a PATIENT IS STANDING RIGHT IN FRONT YOU? I advised all of them that I was just both injected with implants and was in severe distress. Did that cause them to do their job? NOPE!

I recently visited On Dmed (new name as of 9-2023) for xrays of my knee to confirm whether I had a…read morere-broken kneecap. I did not, was at On Dmed from entrance to discharge with a disc of the x-rays after intake and 4 x-rays done by their on-site radiologist in 2 1/2 hours on a holiday which is not too bad. This facility is in network with my insurance so the co-pay - $50 - was considerably lower than that of a hospital-affiliated urgent aid which I believe would have been $400 to commence the process of treatment. Before considering urgent aid care it would be a good idea to find out which local facility is in network and which bills at an ER rate and confirm with your insurance. It would also be wise to learn which healthcare situation On Dmed can help, and which are better handled by a hospital-based urgent aid or traditional ER. These are posted on their webpage, or just grab a magnet at check in when you arrive. I would also set up an account if you wish to utilize On Dmed ahead of time. It take a bit of time to do this, but will save you time once you arrive. Appointments can be set up on their webpage as well. I arrived ahead of time and they did have patients ahead of me, but I was admitted promptly. Bring a book just in case. All on-site personnel were great. When I was discharged I was prescribed a medication which, after reading the patient information sheet, was not workable with my healthcare issues as a totality, which, of course, On Dmed did not have access to (this is where a hospital-based Urgent Aid or ER would have the edge). I took Advil instead of the medication prescribed and that is okay. The main person who coordinated my care was a nurse practitioner and the person who issued the radiology report was a radiologist. I am presuming that there is a physician affiliated and in contact with this practice, but I did not meet them. Not a bad experience. I received a confirmation of my healthcare need, was discharged with papers and a disc of the x-rays should I need follow-up care, the timeframe was reasonable, and my insurance to date has fully covered all. Not sure if I will return there but if a healthcare need coincides with what On Dmnd can offer, perhaps I shall.

I never received a link, so I assumed I did not need one. The receptionist, whose name I did not get, decided to wait 2 hours before saying anything about a link. However, in those 2 hour she had time to sit on her phone with someone and complain about other patients and about a man she is seeing, whom she thinks is seeing someone else, but she's still going to see him, but she is not sleeping in the bed with him. I do not appreciate the fact that she had time to talk but she could not complete the duties of her job. I do not appreciate my time being wasted, especially since I live over 45 minutes away. I would appreciate it if management could review employee phone privileges during work hours, as excessive personal use appears to be interfering with essential job responsibilities.

I had to pay $175 to be seen for two minutes and walk away with no remedy. Fast forward two months and my card was charged another $75 without my consent or any kind of notice. I called and complained for them to say it's policy and what I signed for when being seen. BEWARE! I've been to a midwest express clinic near my home before but this time i decided to go right after…read morework and this was the nearest one. i'm so glad i made that decision! i walked in, the place was clean and the receptionist was very kind! i was called in with the nurse pretty quickly and that process was very fast but not rushed! the best part was the doctor! she was very thorough with everything and asked many questions and made me feel like she was truly providing me with the best solution possible for my problem. i have ocd and a very anxious person but the doctor made me feel very informed and calm and i left the office fully confident in what she prescribed me. ill definitely choose this location over the one by my home as this experience was one i hope to have with any care provider!

My diagnosis was upper respiratory infection aka common cold. The cure is just to wait it out. I did however get a prescription for an oral anesthetic which helped relieve the annoying sore throat pain. The prescription was conveniently transmitted electronically to the adjoining CVS. The nurse practitioner did a quick test to rule out strep throat. I also conveniently got a seasonal flu shot. Their services are limited. But it was quick and convenient to have someone look at my throat.
