This local lunch food spot is the best and our absolute favorite. Food is consistent in flavors and great every single time. Portion sizes are generous and the service is impeccable! The ambiance is inviting with a personalized touch from the owner. Go once and you'll crave it always!!

Really awesome local salad place. I've been coming here for years, they always make delicious and affordable salads. The servers are very nice and the restaurant is rustic. Overall, solid lunch spot!

It was a quick lunch. Chicken salad was good with grapes. The broccoli salad side was no favorite. Hubby had club sandwich (lots of meat), it was ok. Cabbage soup good, but neither of us cared for potato salad. Did like the way they took order on a to go box & then served it that way which made easy to take leftovers. Lots of locals there so just might not be for us.

One of the best spots FWB has to offer. I love coming here for lunch. The tough part is deciding what I'm going to order because it's all so good. So it's really a morph of healthy meets comfort food if that's such a thing. I'm crazy about the chicken salad with grapes. My husband is obsessed about the candied pecans. And who'd have thought broccoli salad could be so delicious. Even the salads are great. Great owner, great staff. They do catering very well also.

I ordered the Cobb salad, it's was very satisfying. It's a good size for the price and has a lot of flavor without making you feel greasy or too full. They are sometimes very busy during lunch hours so it can be a gamble on how long it will take to get your food. Definitely worth trying though. - p.s. some Of their sides have very heavy dressing like the Cole slaw, pasta salad, and chick pea salad.

Super friendly, helpful and quick service. All fresh ingredients. Try the cobb salad, the bacon is amazing! The chicken salad with grapes is so good and simple. Each of the meals is aroumd $10. Order at the counter and take a seat in the dining room with about 10 tables. Get here early because it gets very crowded.

I typically get the chicken salad sandwich on a Kaiser roll. The sides are awesome - I prefer the slaw.

Three out of four of us had ordered the hamburger steaks and while we waited our waitress checked in on us, refilled drinks multiple times, and kept updating her with the status of our order. We ended up waiting for about 30 minutes when our waitress came back and informed us that the kitchen failed to communicate that they were actually completely out of hamburger steaks. She was super apologetic, asked if there was anything else we wanted, and immediately offered compensation for the issue. We all ordered something else and she got the order in as quickly as possible, came back to check in on us some more, and got her manager to comp one of our meals and some pies for us. The food came out maybe 20 minutes later and everything was hot and fresh. The fried okra was SO GOOD and the chicken was basically falling off the bone. The toast, as seen in the picture, got a little burnt, but my husband had no complaints when he ate it. Overall, our meals were great, the pies were delicious, and the customer service form the waitresses and manager was phenomenal. The being said, this restaurant would 100% be 5 stars for me had the kitchen been communicating with the waitresses. However, they did not and it caused so much unnecessary issues for the waitresses and caused a long wait time for food during my families visit. All in all, this place is worth the try especially for the price point!

These items were not listed in the menu but we were told by some locals about this special. We're from out of town and enjoyed the visit here. They also had free complimentary popcorn in paper bags inside the popcorn machine for us to eat while we waited for the rest of our group to arrive. The atmosphere was decorated in military plaques and squadron emblems. One of the walls was covered in signatures from the bar's many visitors. The view through the windows was beautiful as well. The bar faces the water and there's a large grassy area out front and a beautiful gazebo to hang out under if you want to enjoy the outdoors while you're there. They have a variety of liquors and a small selection of beers to choose from. There's plenty of tables and chairs for groups of people to sit at and they also have TVs playing sports shows and bar games (darts, pool table, shuffle board, corn hole, etc) to stay entertained. There's seperate male and female bathrooms down the hall that's kept nice and clean. The staff is friendly and the food is great! We all enjoyed our dinner here and recommend it to future visitors! The Hooch is actually located in the back right corner of the hotel building that the GPS takes you to so I recommend parking toward the far right side of the parking lot when facing the building.

Staff was very nice and accommodating to our large parties and study nights while we were there. It closes at 9, which is kinda early in my opinion, then again in the area this is normal! The first time I came here I ate the mahi tacos which I didn't like and they tasted microwaved. I gave it another chance since it may have been an off night, glad I did, the burger was good! What a crazy experience…read more We go to Buffalo Wild Wings in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware regularly -- honestly, probably weekly -- so we're very familiar with BWW and what a typical experience should be. This Fort Walton Beach location was... something else. We walked in on a very busy Saturday night and there were two hostesses at the front. I wasn't greeted, but I asked if there were seats at the bar. I was told yes, so we walked all the way to the back of the restaurant only to find zero seats at the bar. We walked back to the front and eventually the hostess was able to hear us over the noise and promptly seated us at a table. And the noise was something I've never experienced at a restaurant. While walking back to the front, we heard someone screaming, yelling and clapping. It turned out to be a group of employees approaching a guest's table for a birthday celebration. One server was leading the "celebration" while several others clapped and yelled. It was incredibly loud and, honestly, didn't feel joyful or fun. It was more startling and obnoxious than celebratory. The hostess herself was wincing at the noise, and we certainly weren't the only guests who looked uncomfortable. Our server was nice enough, but the service was very scattered. She brought our drinks but forgot one. When our food arrived, we asked for the missing drink again. About 20 minutes later, when the food came out, she asked if we wanted to move to a booth. We agreed because it would give us more room. Unfortunately, the booth had its own issues. Our hair was literally blowing around, food wrappers were blowing, napkins were blowing, and it was cold and windy sitting there. We stayed because at least we had more space. She also didn't bring silverware, so I couldn't even eat my cauliflower until I finally asked for utensils. Then came another unexpected experience: while we were waiting for our food, two small boys came running down the aisle with a cardboard box filled with random bags of candy and chips, selling them to tables and servers. This wasn't a school fundraiser or anything that was explained to us. It appeared that someone had purchased snacks somewhere and brought them into the restaurant to sell. I saw Funyuns and Sour Patch Kids. At one table, one child walked around with the box while another stood back shaking a box of candy like a musical instrument. It was just... bizarre. And then, before we even finished eating, another birthday celebration started at the table next to us. Here comes the screaming again. I literally plugged my ears. The person leading the birthday song noticed me, stopped for a second and laughed, then continued. I understand that birthdays are supposed to be fun, but there has to be a happy medium. This was so loud that it was genuinely uncomfortable. By the end, we asked for a box, the check and a bottle of hot sauce. Our server had to come back three or four times because something had been forgotten each time. She forgot to get our phone number once, forgot the box the next time, and we eventually just decided it was time to leave. To be fair, it was a packed Saturday night, and I understand that restaurants get busy. But this wasn't simply a case of slow service. It was the combination of the incorrect seating information, extremely loud birthday performances, cold/windy seating, missing silverware and drinks, repeated forgotten requests, and the unexpected candy sales happening throughout the dining room. Unfortunately, the service and overall experience continued to be disappointing. At the end of the meal, we weren't given an itemized check, so we had no way of knowing exactly what we were charged for. That's especially frustrating when the experience itself was already less than great. And I completely forgot until afterward that one of our chicken wing meals was supposed to come with 10 pieces and only had 9. Obviously, one missing wing isn't enough for us to complain about, but it certainly wasn't a great detail to add to an already disappointing experience. We kept looking at each other thinking, What is happening here? We love BWW and have plenty of great experiences at our usual location. This Fort Walton Beach visit was just wow. Definitely an experience we won't forget -- although probably not for the reasons the restaurant intended.
