    Surf and turf kabobs

My husband and I came in for lunch. He ordered a chicken gyro, I ordered surf and turf kabobs. We didn't really get either of those. Not to mention I tipped in cash and they still over charged my card by $3-4 dollars. We told the server we did not like the food and we were very unhappy. Still over tipped and paid full price for food and were not even givin the opportunity to get a better choice or to fix it. So we paid $70 total just for lunch that wasn't right or good.

The restaurant is clean and love the decor. Sadly, the food lack taste and it was a huge disappointment. Over cooked mushy white rice! I guess I have been spoiled with the basmati rice at the other locations I've visited before. The kabab meat had no flavor! It was taught. The Knafeh was dry! If it had cheese, it disappeared in the cooking process. All for $40. I felt robbed! The positive note, the server offered us tea while I wanted for my order to go. also, the prices on the menu by the counter does not reflect the prices in their system. The for example the Knafeh on the menu was priced at $9.99 but their system has it for $13.50. Same with the other plate. I didn't make no fuss about the difference in prices because I was hoping to get amazing food. Sadly not the case.

This is the Meze platter, minus the 2 grape leaves. Very small, and half frozen hummus.

2 stars, even though the flavor of the food was good. However, I feel like the prices are too steep for the quality. I ordered the Meze vegetarian platter, for 16$, and it left me wishing there were more on the plate. 2 falafel balls, 2 small grape leaves, a scoop of hummus and a scoop of baba ganoush, and one piece of pita. The hummus was half frozen. Again, they had good flavor in their items but it was very overpriced and not presented well. Don't think I will return.

The ONLY place that makes me feel like home. Their menu is so rich and the food is OMG.. You should definitely try lahmacun aka Turkish pizza. The appetizers are so fresh and yummy! I am from Turkey and this restaurant has exceeded my expectations!

We were looking for a halal option, this place was so good. We ordered the kebab platter for our family of 4, and it had a little of everything. We also ordered the kinafa, it was not overly sweet and so tasty. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Food was great, service was odd. The woman serving us never checked on us to see if everything was okay, never asked to refill my drink. I did know about the 18% service fee before going, due to someone else's review. I think they mentioned it's for dish washing, which is odd because our glasses were filthy with stains and residue hmmm. I'll most likely be back.

First The Menu Bait-and-Switch Their website menu and a customer-posted menu are identical both promise pita bread and tzatziki with entrees. We ordered based on that. When we called after getting home asking where these items were, they claimed it was "an old menu posted by a customer." Except their website/menu online says the same thing. Either fix your menus or stop lying to customers. The Portions were pathetic when told they were good sized and oh man the food was Flavorless! For $79 + tip, we got portions embarrassingly small. The grape leaves? Cold, wet, and bland could barely eat three. The rice was lifeless. The $37 "Fish of the Day" tilapia had ZERO flavor and no lemon even basic Mediterranean cooking demands lemon. The $30 salmon kabob was mediocre-sized and barely filling. Everything tasted like it was prepared with zero seasoning and zero effort and no soul. We had to season our own food at home. Our server was too busy with personal conversations to help properly. When handing us our to-go food, she literally said, "I didn't put gratuity on there but you guys can if you want" like she was doing us a favor by separating the hot items from the cold. We tipped anyway because we're good Samaritans when it comes to eating out. When we complained by phone, the response was hollow: "I'll let the Owner know to fix it" the only positive thing: Location is easy to find. That's literally it. The building is rundown, interior cramped with tables crammed together, decor is mediocre at best. Do yourself a favor and skip this place. Better Mediterranean restaurants exist all over Destin. This is a cautionary tale of poor execution, dishonest practices, and staff that clearly doesn't care. 1/5 Stars - Never returning.

Anyway, we wanted Mediterranean food and decided to finally give In & Out a try. Boy am I glad we did. This place is fantastic! Everything was absolutely delicious! Service is fine. You order at the counter and if you're eating in they will bring your food to you. They don't really provide full service, so if you need anything you'll probably need to go back to the counter to request whatever it is you need. But, overall it was fine. With regard to the dining environment, it is rather small with just a handful of tables. The decor is appropriate for the type of restaurant it is and they keep the place pretty clean. One good thing, I like the location. The dining room better than the downtown location. Now for the bad. $30 for two sandwiches and to add fries it was an extra $12. That is $42 for two gyro with fries ($21 each) NOT WORTH IT!!! In addition to the $12 combo up charge, we were charged separately for two sodas. So $6 for french fries that is made by Ore Ida's was unnecessary. May be $2 is acceptable. Our check for lunch including tips was $75!!! I understand times are hard and everyone is raising their prices after COVID, but that was 6 years ago!!! STOP taking advantage of your consumers. We are not standing for it anymore. It unacceptable! Customer deserves quality and value! Period. Moving forward, if I visit a restaurant raising their prices just to take advantage of their consumer I will give them 1 star. Unfortunately, this place was the first 1 star. They've earned it. The quality is not consistent with downtown location, the Kibeh taste like someone spilled a bottle ground cinnamon. Yuck! Good luck, I hope that $75 was worth it because I will never come back with these prices.
