I visited this place for a corporate event. The views were great and their staff were amazing. They walked around with hor d'oeuvres prior to our meal. I will admit these were better than the actual meal itself. They had lamb chops, croquettes, wonton tuna tacos, elk skewers. All phenomenal. As for the dine in experience it was a pro fixe menu. They served squash soup, wedge salad, salmon, steak and what seems like a pesto arancini. My steak was over cooked and the arancini was really salty. Overall a decent menu and would definitely recommend it to anyone that's out here during for skiing or snowboarding trip. read more

Tried twice to order coffee at 10:30 and both times the coffee bar was open, but unattended. Entire building reeked of raw sewage. They aren't even trying at this point. read more

Decided on five stars because the view was top notch. This was a great place to enjoy a lunch at a full service restaurant that sits mid-mountain. We'd been craving something that wasn't bar food and Aerie delivered. The tempura mushrooms, salads and kids meals were all a hit. The chicken was also cooked perfectly and the kids meals were so good they actually ate their burgers and chicken before the fries. We also had excellent lattes as we enjoyed a a beautiful view. Pricing is high but also comes with the territory of eating at a resort. The location is right off the gondola so even your non ski/boarding friends can join you for lunch. read more

Best ski chalet food I've had thus far. Lots of selection but I got the pork tonkotsu ramen and was very happy-the broth was flavorful and the pork was crispy. The guy who dished my food was enthusiastic and presented the dish with care. Pricey but so goes skiing. read more

Adan and Antonio up at Aerie are some of the best customer service workers I've come across in YEARS! They are a huge asset to Copper and they are lucky to have such dedicated employees like these fellas. They made my day and a tasty grilled cheese. Service like that is the only reason I'm willing to pay an unreasonable amount for a grilled cheese hahaha. read more

Aerie is a wonderfully new and modern addition to Copper. For our first visit, we had the tonkatsu ramen from the food court. The pork was delicious, but the broth was nothing to write home about. Getting seating was tricky given we stopped by at the lunch hour, but the cashiers there were super friendly and accommodating when we had an issue with our drinks. Views are truly spectacular. Next time, we plan on trying the full service restaurant on the second floor. read more

I invited two out of town guests to join me for the charcuterie. Note the menu "pickles and jellies, artisanal cheeses" etc. Received 3 artisanal cheeses (and a 1/4 cup dump of small crumbled blue cheese (salad version) for a $29 finger food. No jelly! After several years of construction, the Aerie is finally open. Architecturally pleasing, it evokes high scale (perhaps too much for a mountain restaurant where most of the daily traffic consists of skiers taking a quick break). We attended the New Year's Eve 2023 event at the Aerie. It wasn't a good value for the price paid ($250/head). Food was plentiful, there was a band and a DJ alternating to provide music the entire evening, but the evening just dragged on. Copper had relocated the fireworks to a spot near the Aerie (a huge snub to the thousands of people at Copper at the base of the mountain who had always enjoyed seeing the fireworks up close), but even that didn't make the value per dollar paid any better. Even if Copper had provided an open bar, the value wouldn't have been worth it. I would recommend trying the Aerie while taking a break from skiing, but the price for dinner or special events seems extraordinarily high. read more

Great new and modern facility with beautiful views. Had the Italian Dip Beef sandwich platter and it was really good! High quality meat cuts and delicious fries. The chef and cooking staff in the food court were super friendly and courteous. Plus all the service ware (plates, real metal utensils etc) was sustainable and eco friendly - nice touch. read more

Very disappointed with this new addition. Very MINIMAL SPACE for eating, seating, and ski gear placement outside. Dining tables are so close together people must carry their trays OVER the heads of seated people, sometimes spilling drinks or unknowingly knocking helmets, coats, etc. off chairs (which have hooks provided for ski gear...pointless). If there is a blizzard, everyone will need to be indoors with most likely, standing room only to eat lunch. --However..... lots of room for people who choose the new higher end restaurants adjacent to the general eating area or upstairs! -Copper Mountain has lost it's way. read more
