Decided on five stars because the view was top notch. This was a great place to enjoy a lunch at a full service restaurant that sits mid-mountain. We'd been craving something that wasn't bar food and Aerie delivered. The tempura mushrooms, salads and kids meals were all a hit. The chicken was also cooked perfectly and the kids meals were so good they actually ate their burgers and chicken before the fries. We also had excellent lattes as we enjoyed a a beautiful view. Pricing is high but also comes with the territory of eating at a resort. The location is right off the gondola so even your non ski/boarding friends can join you for lunch.

Best ski chalet food I've had thus far. Lots of selection but I got the pork tonkotsu ramen and was very happy-the broth was flavorful and the pork was crispy. The guy who dished my food was enthusiastic and presented the dish with care. Pricey but so goes skiing.

    Yummy fries

The vibes are fancy and the wait time is like 5 minutes the good tastes really good but it is pretty expensive.

Great mid mtn bar if you want to stop for a brew and football games. Full bar with hot and cold cocktails. Bar snacks. Beer on tap from odell and others. Great view of the mountain and slopes.

Adan and Antonio up at Aerie are some of the best customer service workers I've come across in YEARS! They are a huge asset to Copper and they are lucky to have such dedicated employees like these fellas. They made my day and a tasty grilled cheese. Service like that is the only reason I'm willing to pay an unreasonable amount for a grilled cheese hahaha.

Ramen was great and at a fair price, employees were very welcoming! I ordered the pork ramen pictured here

Aerie is a wonderfully new and modern addition to Copper. For our first visit, we had the tonkatsu ramen from the food court. The pork was delicious, but the broth was nothing to write home about. Getting seating was tricky given we stopped by at the lunch hour, but the cashiers there were super friendly and accommodating when we had an issue with our drinks. Views are truly spectacular. Next time, we plan on trying the full service restaurant on the second floor.

Tempura mushrooms, you must order these.

The upstairs restaurant and bar is the place to go. The food is good, service is very good, and the atmosphere is perfect. I will definitely go back.

Charcuterie: Received 3 artisanal cheeses (and a 1/4 cup dump of small crumbled blue cheese (salad version) for a $29 finger food. No jelly!

This is a great spot at Copper. The Lamb Burger at the bar is awesome--juicy and flavorful. And the diamond martini is way too good

We ordered a chicken quesadilla and a couple cheese pizza slices. The pizza was served immediately after being made which was nice but it still was mediocre. In my opinion the chicken quesadilla is more worth your money. The quesadilla was cheesy and they added a good amount of meat for a $1 extra. You get free refills on the fountain machine. The food is overpriced as I expected but pass holders get a discount. Check out is simple and easy. Tables are first come first serve. Condiments are provided at the end of checkout.

Thanksgiving day 2025 we lunched here, it was one of the best resort burger & fries, and I've had a lot of them in the decades. Burger was medium rare, juicy, topped with fresh tomato & lettuce & condiments on a soft brioche bun. Fries were crispy on the outside and fluffy inside, lightly salted. The beef burrito bowl was also delicious, many toppings: guacamole, sour cream, shredded cheese, pickled jalapeños, 3 types of salsa, etc... The entire staff were pleasant and helpful. Refreshingly cheerful considering they had to work on Thanksgiving. Thank you to the staff for showing up and bringing your smiles.

Do you want to know a secret?…read more Powder 8's has some of the best food in Beaver Creek. They use the same chefs that work at the Park Hyatt and 8100 Mountainside. Do a comparison of the items here to any other restaurant in this ski resort, and you'll be shocked at how much better and cheaper it is. Beware the drink tent outside, though, as it will gouge you when it comes to alcohol, but you should probably be hydrating with water anyway. It may appear to be a simple lunch cafeteria for skiers ready to head back out to the slopes, but for those in the know, it's so much more than that.

To read some of the reviews though, wow. More five-star resort price complainers. The sense of entitlement to getting something at a low price (almost synonymous for free) is appalling. High brow experiences, like skiing, come at a higher cost. This isn't a flatland convenience store. At any rate, certainly a fun right-off-the-slopes setting but a lot busier than Talon's or Spruce Saddle. I'll never forget the time I ran in to an iconic first name celebrity here as we compared notes about the state of society. After commiserating, the unnamed just wanted to remain unseen and unapproached. "Keep it quiet. I can't handle that right now." Like other settings, if you arrive for an early lunch you can beat the lines. Don't forget your cookie along the piazza on your way out.
