The dresses are made well but there isn't much variety. The sales women/young ladies at this location whom I've spoken with are VERY MUCH RACIST and actively practice RACISM in their store by 1) Not allowing African American or pigmented skin tones to try on the dresses or limit the amount you can try on 2) If you ask a question ignore you 3) Make you wait in line longer while the person stands at the cash register.....avoiding taking you. I believe the women who work their are either from Spain or Columbia, I forgot which one. Either way, they themselves can't speak English (I had to speak spanish) but are in America and have a hatred for Americans. This Nordstrom used to be pretty decent (i would have given three or four stars); however, since…read morere-opening after covid this place had been completely useless. Yesterday I walked in (after about a month of not being in there) figuring they would have finally had a chance to stock back up. I literally walked around for ten minutes looking confused and CLEARLY searching for something. I walked by multiple employees and every single one was on their cellphone, not paying attention. You'd think with all of your display tables empty you'd want to make sure that you make up for it with proper customer service, but that would require not hiring phone addicted 18 year olds so you'd probably have to nut up and pay a tad more than minimum wage. In any case, upon being helped, I asked for adidas and the gentleman didn't even walk me to where the 5 pieces of adidas clothing were (no joke - 3 of the same T-shirt and two pairs of shorts). He points, from halfway across the store and expects me to see where their miniscule adidas section is. Then, when I ask when they will have more stock, because ordering online isn't something I like to do, he cuts me off and tells me to go to Macy's. So I went to Macy's, and guess what? They had everything I needed. It's crazy that Macy's is now higher end than Nordstrom's (which is now ranked with JC Penny to me).

That strongly implied the store tracks this information to avoid selling the same or very similar dresses to multiple students attending the same event. Despite that, at least five other girls from her graduating class have since purchased extremely similar dresses from this store. As a result, my daughter no longer feels comfortable wearing the dress she was originally so excited about. I contacted the store directly to ask why this information is collected if duplicate dresses are still sold for the same prom, and to see if there were any options to resolve the situation. The store never responded. For a business that charges premium prices and markets a personalized prom experience, this is unacceptable. If there is no exclusivity policy, customers should be clearly told that upfront. Collecting detailed school/prom information while continuing to sell near-identical dresses to the same event is misleading. Future customers should ask very specific questions about duplication and exclusivity before spending this kind of money here.

Then proceeded to say that he's gonna scare customers (even tho people were greeting my dog) and then told me I had to hold him even tho he's on a leash and does not bark. He has anxiety and so do I. I respect store policies but not workers who are passive aggressive especially at a retail job. But I can say there was one other lady that was so sweet and kind and actually greeted him. I'm pretty sure it pissed the other coworker that was being rude. All that attitude for 3 customers in the whole entire store in different areas mind you.
