I flew 6 international flights on Aeromexico and every flight arrived to the destination on-time or early, and with 4 large suitcases and multiple country transfers, we came home with all 4 large suitcases. This was over the summer when airlines being delayed and losing luggage was coming out weekly in news headlines. Aeromexico is Mexico's best airline by far. Yes, they got downgraded by the FAA due to issues with Mexico's national airline authority overall. It was scary to fly on an airline with a downgraded safety rating but I honestly ended up feeling safer on Aeromexico than American-brand airlines. We even had a Boeing employee on our last flight who was working on a safety manual for a Boeing plane while in flight so I considered this a positive sign as to the quality of their planes. It's true that their customer service can be tricky but this is also unfortunately true of a lot of Mexican businesses in general. The country is still developing its infrastructure. The Aeromexico application for smartphones doesn't work that great but their in-person customer service was nothing but nice to us. An employee helped us find seating together when we made separate flight reservations for 3 adults. Customer service also helped my Mother-in-Law get an entire row of seats to herself to make sure she was comfortable on her 8 hour solo red eye flight. Aeromexico prides itself on getting you to your destination 30 minutes+ early. When you land early, they say, "Another early flight arriving X minutes ahead of time by Aeromexico". I will never forget that announcement. If you're considering flying to Mexico, it's worth it to pay more to fly on Aeromexico. The food/free alcohol on long haul flights is really very tasty and good. After dinner and your 2 free cups of wine or beer, they even offer you a liqueur (a sweet tequila) to help you digest your food. read more

I give this company zero stars!!! This airline is a bunch of liars and I will be taking them to small claims court. I went to a travel agency today and we were told Aeromexico themselves cancelled all flights. They were telling me that I myself called and cancelled, then it was I sent them an email to cancel to the last lie they told was that my 17 year old daughter sent an email to cancel. Aeromexico made me lose over $1000 dollars and lied over and over again. They have never apologized once and still have the nerve to say my family was at fault. read more

I've had the worst experience in this airline. We were being helped out by this lady named MONICA G. She was so extremely rude to my mother and I while checking in our bags. She went out of her way to keep picking on my mom at the gate because she refused to let her take a carryon item! She was carrying a purse with her documents while others had purses, diapers bags ect. She was trying to make her pay for for carry on item and was so extremely RUDE, it literally ruined our flight. we will never fly with this airline AGAIN. What a difference a year makes. In 2025, the TSA screening was bigger and the new airport police…read morecounter was installed along with new flooring, new lighting. A year later 2026, the new B gates have open to the right of TSA with an escalator taking you up like a stairway to heaven. What's upstairs? Two gates, restrooms, a large waiting area, and Amigos FAT restaurant with basic coffee offerings. What else was new was no more ticketing to enter paid overnight parking. I entered from the parking garage and I meandered around to find a spot. The parking garage was completely full, but I found a closer spot so we're good. When I came back from my trip I remembered not ever getting a ticket. So when I got in line, I noticed two huge screens are now installed at the toll booths. When I got to the booth, the attendant asked if I paid online. I didn't know this was an option. What I noticed on the huge screens was my total & a barcode. The attendant took my payment instead and confirmed how many days and hours I was parked. I asked how did she know that, she stated the system scans/tracks my license plate once I entered the parking lot. Fresno is moving with the times adapting this latest technology. No more tickets. Somehow it's more miserable inside than outside today -- and at least outside there's a breeze. I have never sweated this much just sitting in an airport. Fresno, you can do better. The excuse that "someone has to go on the roof to adjust the temperature" might be one of the weakest explanations I've ever heard. I'm not sure who thought anyone would actually believe that, but here we are. Maybe the next upgrade should be making the terminal comfortable enough for passengers to exist in it without needing a towel.

However, there were no United representatives present at the counter when we arrived. A few minutes later, Vanessa showed up wearing her cool shades, casually walked to her computer, and stood there without acknowledging us. When Vanessa finally called us to the counter, she asked why we were there. I explained that we needed to check in our luggage for our flight. Vanessa then informed me that I was "minutes" late, stating United's policy required check-in 45 minutes before departure. When I told her we were at the counter by 1:33 PM, she dismissed this entirely and said it didn't matter whether I was on time or not. She flatly told me my only option was to reschedule and emphasized that she was busy. I asked for her name so I could file a complaint, but she refused to provide it and wasn't wearing a visible name badge. After calling United Airlines, I was informed that employees are required to provide their names but that there was nothing else they could do to resolve the issue over the phone. Eventually, I spoke with the Airport Director, who identified her as Vanessa and mentioned that she had no direct supervisor for the day. In the end, I had to purchase a new ticket with Southwest Airlines, where their customer service (special thanks to Carlos) was excellent and understanding. I couldn't say the same for United's staff--Vanessa's behavior was not only unprofessional but entirely lacking in empathy. Instead of taking my first-class flight home with United, I had to go out of my way to deal with their incompetence and indifference. Vanessa is a poor representation of customer service, and this experience was enough to make me avoid flying United Airlines in the future. If you value good customer service, avoid Vanessa and United Airlines altogether.

The planes are new and updated so there is plenty of over head bin space. They have WiFi, complimentary drinks and snacks. The seats have tray tables and a top tray for people to put with their phones to watch. They also have usb charging ports and plug in ports at the bottom of the chair too. The seats can also recline back a little bit. Bathrooms provided as well. Never had issues with this airline.

Boarding wouldn't let her on the plane until she put that tiny zipper bag inside her backpack, then told her to go to the back of the line. What a dick. This is a Fact at Fresno and Las Vegas airports. NEVER AGAIN! I respect myself. Never going to pay for egregious service, at check in and boarding. Poor appearance, no manners, talking crap about each other, talked crap TO the passengers and even cussing! The flight to AND from our destination was OVER 2 hours late causing passengers to miss their connecting flights meaning they had to sleep I'm the airport and the flight attendant told.him he should have not been so cheap and booked through another airline if he cared so much about not missing his flight. Mind you, they were 2.5 HOURS delayed and we did not get ANY notification of it till we were boarded on the plane. That's when they sent out a message that they were going to be late. I will NEVER, EVER, EVER fly this airline again even if it were free. Worst nightmare. They should be put out of business. Do not fly with them under any circumstances or you will be sorry.
