Not the best airline but it gets the job done, can't beat a one hour flight to Vegas and one hour back to Fresno. The seating is quite tight as you're shoulder to shoulder. You have to pay for carry on and checked bag space. I upgraded to checked bag as it's only a few dollars more and I don't have to carry it. They offer complimentary drinks on flight but you have to buy snacks if you want. Your personal bag needs fit and stowed under the seat. Check in customer service -10. 1st part of training is how to completely ignore customers in line and focus on visiting with each other. When they decide to acknowledge and help a customer they are intentionally rude. 2nd part of training is to take out there hate for their job on customers. With snarky answers to customers relevant questions. In Las Vegas, an employee began to lead us to an open window for service, but stopped abruptly to visit with a friend in line leaving us standing there. The blonde lady that was visiting with co-worker since we were in line finally took a breath; I ask if she had time to help us. She begrudgingly turned to us with half open eyes to display total disdain for asking her to help us and spoke very rudely to us while checking us in. She spent a lot of time checking out my partners boarding pass in her iPhone wallet noticing mine was there as well. Then questioned why I only had mine in my iPhone wallet. I told her I only need mine. She asked if I cared mine was in my friends wallet also I replied, " I only need mine". She said, "don't you care?" I repeated I only need mine. She didn't like that. Then she gave me a sticker for my carry-on (which was not given to me in Fresno) I proceeded to place it, then she said, "you didn't listen to me", you peel it this way". She never said that to me. Bitch At boarding You're allowed one carry-on and one personal item. My friend had her backpack and a tiny tiny shoulder strap zipper bag. Boarding wouldn't let her on the plane until she put that tiny zipper bag inside her backpack, then told her to go to the back of the line. What a dick. This is a Fact at Fresno and Las Vegas airports. NEVER AGAIN! I respect myself. Never going to pay for egregious service, at check in and boarding. Had thee horrible experience with the check-in staff at the Fresno-Yosemite Airport, waited in line for a couple of minutes then finally was able to approach after the agents were socializing with a previous customer. First of all, I was not greeted with a 'Good morning' nor 'how can I help you?' BUT with we are closed and do not print out booking passes 45 minutes before flight boards... which is absurd even the Southwest agents informed me saying, "They always do that" I happened to get her name after our flight took off and yes I said " WE" there were 5-6 people who missed the flight due to our passes not scanning 'correctly' BUT NO ONE came to help us out even after security and other friendly staff paging them non stop. HER NAME IS Carey, Karey, really unsure how to spell it, she had no badge or identification. Yes, I realize after looking up the reviews this is a SHITTY & CHEAP airline but the fact that you weren't able to help out paying customers when you were present at the check-in is honestly really rude and makes you look like disgusting human beings who do not care about their customers and even after security and other staff from the airport are paging anyone from Allegiant to help out a handle full of passengers whose tickets were scanning "RED" is unacceptable. I literally can go on, but yes we all technically did not miss our flight but after coming back when the plane took off Carey/Karey and her team stated we "missed" our flight WHICH IS TOTAL BS...she really needs to head back to orientation, take a step down and definitely go over some PowerPoint presentations on customer service and respecting individuals, I'm sure if that happens you guys wouldn't be receiving such low reviews. Also, she stated she was the manager but this tall young guy was doing literally most of the talking while she was off to the side hiding. I'm giving Allegiant Air 3 stars because it's a hit and miss with their customer services. I've been flying them for about 8+ years taking the Fresno to Las Vegas flight. I take this flight at least once a month. The front desk (check inn) service is always horrible. Never friendly and never willing to help. I'm glad you can check inn on the app and you don't have to see them (unless you have to check a bag in). The workers at the gate (some times the same workers working the front) are pretty welcoming. I understand you have to check people's sizes on their bags but please use better wording then being rude about it. The flight attendants are definitely a hit and miss. You have some nice/welcoming ones but you also have some rude "I hate my job" workers. What makes me upset the most is, I have a Allegiant credit card and with this card you get a free drink, sometimes they never get to you (depending on where you are sitting and if they only have 1 cart going up and down). Overall, I just have to say "you pay for what you get so you can't really complain" + Allegiant customer service doesn't do anything about their complains anyways. read more

(1hr flight ) Flight was suppose to board at 12pm, as soon as 12pm came, everyone received a text message that boarding time had been delayed over 4 hours! Because a crew member called in sick .... Ended up missing an important meeting in Vegas. Had to spend the entire day inside Fresno international Airport. I called customer service. Waited on hold for over an hour, only to be told that they wouldn't do anything about it. Allegiant is very aware they are the only option, and do not accommodate their customers. All in all. He's been at the airport for almost 10 hours and he hasn't left, yet. They keep delaying the flight cus they can't open a certain door at the airport. Don't know what door but that's all they told him. I feel so bad for him cus he missed his important event. I called and spoke to someone in customer service who was VERY RUDE hoping she can somehow resolve this problem and she didn't give a SHIT about anything. I've been sitting in an airplane full of people for the last 30 minutes. The "captain" says we are 10,000 gallons short of fuel and waiting on a fuel truck... No eta he says.... Meanwhile, it's hot as hell in this little tube. 30 minutes.... Waiting for fuel. Some people are claustrophobic.... Like me.... Fuck Allegiant air. Get you shit together captain... it gets better!!! They boarded the plane only to announce we still need fuel. 30+ mins later we finally get the fuel only to have the pilot say we can't fly because of something on the other side in Vegas. My flight to Las Vegas was delayed for 4 hrs 38 minutes. Very poor customer service. I kept on asking questions regards the flight the only answers I got was it's delayed. The allegation Air workers at the airport kept on saying I need to call customer service to complain or for compensation. They can't do anything about it. I called customer service and the representative said the compensation should have been offered at the airport. They can't do anything about it. Man makes me wonder is this the normal routine blame on one another instead of trying to fix the problem and build great customer service! Oh wait they don't care! To anyone booking a trip. You have exactly 24 hours to cancel or change plans. It's in the fine print. By the time I paid for bags and seats it wasn't a deal. After that 24 hours you'll get a voucher. I tried to rearrange travel plans 30 hours later. Got an travel voucher for $50 dollars and spent $450 per ticket. I ate $900 minus the $50 dollar voucher which I won't use. Do not fly with them unless you know exactly your plans and can work around them. I personally will never support their company again. I'm at the airport waiting for my flight to Vegas which was suppose to fly out at 4:15pm, it's been over 4 hours and still no actual response to when we will board, the plane is still not even outside. Looks like there are other complaints on yelp with this same issue. I am pretty certain this a common thing that allegiant air is pulling day in and day out. I'm angry that they do not update the passengers over the intercom, literally had to open my app and see that my flight was delay, not just once but twice.
