We were so impressed with our scuba cert program through SpringAdventures!…read more Honestly, when we hit the targeted ads, we were a little dubious because of some of the web design choices, and how low the prices were. SO GLAD we took a chance. It's a one-man operation, and he's incredible. His prices are all in, and he really does knock it out in just 2 days with great flexible local dives near the High Springs area. If you have a special request, just call him - he was able to add our NitrOx cert as well on the fly. I was blown away watching this man transition from charismatic comedy, making learning fun but still hitting all the key points, right into suddenly supportive teacher mode when we were in the practical portions and he was helping a student who was struggling, using a disarming compassionate demeanor. At least in our session, class sizes were very small, and he not only equipped us mentally for our scuba expeditions, but he gave us incredible insight and recommendations beyond the certification on what kind of gear to look for, good habits, inside tips for the industry. Just 11/10. He also does have gear available for sale, customized to the diver, which is I assume how he keeps his prices so low, but he wasn't pushy at all and advised us for what we NEEDED not what he sold. I was actively trying to buy gear from him, and he advised me that I might need something special and that also some other websites unrelated to him are having a pretty good sale right now so he chose our equipment and savings over his own revenue. Just couldn't be more impressed. (Also, if you come down here for just the class from out of town, I highly recommend the "getaway" tiny home cabins nearby for lodging. They're clean, super cheap, nice close by, and easy. Including two nights lodging, you could get your scuba cert here for like a thousand or $1,200 cheaper than you can in most major cities.

He provided tips for improving my swimming technique as well as my breathing. He was also a blast to be around, loved all his positivity while teaching, made me even more excited to learn something new. Really looking forward to furthering my training with him! Thank you Rob! You rock!

Doug the instructor guided and helped my 14 year old son get his open water certification after my son discovered scuba diving while we were on vacation in Cozumel and dove there for the first time. Caleb said his instruction was thorough and smooth and he enjoyed the entire process of classroom and pool dives. Doug and Dive Educators helped us complete the certification by allowing my son to do his 4 open water dives while on vacation in Aruba which was very convenient for our needs. We are excited because now my son can dive with me whenever we travel and plan on doing the scuba experience at Georgia aquarium. Much thanks to Doug and Dive Educators for helping my son achieve Open Water certification! 5 solid Stars and two thumbs up!

I was super nervous starting out, but he was patient, never rushed anything, and even took the time to show extra tips that helped a lot once I got out of the pool. It felt more like learning from a friend than a strict instructor. I did my OW and AOW dives with Howard, and he was great as well. During my OW weekend, I was still struggling a bit with buoyancy, and he didn't have to, but he even did an extra dive with me to work on PPB just so I could feel more confident. My first time in the ocean was with him too, and he always took the time to teach beyond the bare minimum. Shoutout to Stefan and James, who were also on some of my dives -- super helpful with little tips along the way. I started off nervous about diving and ended up with a new hobby and some new dive buddies. Highly recommend Dive Educators -- they genuinely care.

I have taken multiple training courses from a number of shops/instructors. Dive Georgia is among…read morethe best I have encountered. First, if you are shopping by price, find another sport. Dive Georgia is not unusually expensive -pretty typical - but you want to avoid shops that have found a way to make the product cheaper. I would use two words to describe the training experiences I have had through Dive Georgia: Challenging and Supportive. There are plenty of dive shops who simply want to get you through the course so they can take your money. They don't really care how much you learn along the way. That is not Dive Georgia. They seem to be very conscientious about the fact that they are training you for a sport that needs a certain level of proficiency for you to be safe and for you to enjoy yourself. More than any dive shop I have ever gone diving with, they are committed to making sure you receive that level of training. I recently completed the NAUI Master Diver with them. It was challenging, fun, and a wonderful learning experience. Are they perfect? No, but their shortcomings are not really related to the training. My chief complaint is about pre-class communication, which is sometimes a little last minute, and sometimes assuming you know things about needed equipment that you don't know. I spoke to someone on the phone and signed up for a class. I wasn't told there were any prerequisites, then was called and asked to send in proof of my needed prerequisite. So, I had to quickly sign up for a class, to meet the requirements. I wish this had been mentioned up front - but, in the scheme of things, pretty minor. I have had good interactions with everyone, but if you are looking for a great first contact point, ask for Emily. She is super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable!

They gave my children a cheap coloring book, one tattoo and a cheap towel. We went to the doctor and she would not sign off on them doing this bc course. I called to let them know and receive a refund. I knew we had to eat the cost of the cheap towel, they charged us $80! For the two cheap towels. I would not recommend this place if business.
