The dentist/doctor said I need two teeth pulled cause of an infection and it was going to be replaced with an implant. They told me to call the insurance in a few weeks to see if it's approved. i called they said nothing was ever sent..... called the dentist there was nothing on record..... so i have an infection thats spreading. Now I have to try and find a place that is going to treat this infection before it spreads anymore and find a surgeon who can fix this issue. This is so annoying. read more

Finding a good dentist feels like pulling teeth, but these guys are legit. Always little to no wait to be seen at appointment time - punctuality in any doctor/dentist office is a rare treat. Great skilled dentists and assistants. I'm 5 cavities and a cleaning in. Friendly receptionist. And they don't price gouge. This is my 5th dentist in as many years and you can just tell when they're scamming for business (medicare for all is the way to go folx), and these guys give you the real deal. read more

Everyone was super friendly, including the front desk staff, dental hygienist, and Dr. Kogan. The cleaning was as comfortable as possible and thorough. They're also happy to reach out to your insurance to get an estimate of how much certain procedures would cost you. *COVID note: certain chairs are blocked off in the waiting area to ensure distancing, clean office, front desk is walled off, everyone wore a mask. read more

I've heard about this dental practice from a friend Of a friend. I haven't gone to the dentist in a while but the receptionist/front desk was very polite and welcoming even went out her way to open the door for me with my stroller and the hygienist Tam or Tammy did a great job in my mouth cleaning boy I had some plaque which is now gone and she was able to entertain and keep my son occupied and calm while dealing with me. Not all people have patience to deal with a child while working on you and I'd like to thank her and the Doctor for such a great experience as I will now make this my primary care dentist. I look forward to going back soon. I recommend Dr.Kogan and Hygienist Tammy/Tam for short she's a beautiful brown girl with dimples and nice smile. read more

I first booked my appointment and had to wait a month. It was definitely worth the wait! The office manager is so pleasant and welcoming. The young lady that took my X-rays was patient and took her time. The cleaning was done by the dentist and I felt no pain....hands down the best cleaning. I need additional work done and look forward to my next appointment. In my book this place deserves 10 stars. PS The establishment is super clean. read more

The dentist (Dr. Devito) and the assistant were both very helpful and explained everything as they were giving me a filling. They were understanding of my fear of the dentist and were kind, patient, and attentive. I have had some bad experiences with dentists before (I am pretty sure the last one I went to did not err on the conservative side and gave me unnecessary work to collect insurance money), and thus I have trouble trusting them and I defibrillator feel won over by this practice. This is especially notable since I have Medicaid and have a limited number of options of places to go and (sorry to be pessimistic) did not have high hopes of feeling satisfied. This spot had the best reviews and they are spot on. If you have Healthfirst Medicaid or if you are paying out of pocket, I would recommend going here. read more

Teeth cleaning time!! Place looks bright, new and is small and clean. I think I saw only 2 patient cleaning chairs. Bf and I came right when they opened at 9 on a Saturday morning. After verifying my insurance, there was a tech who took x-rays of my teeth. This is always the most hated part for me everytime I go to any dentist because the plastic they out in my mouth hurts the roof of my mouth. I have a small mouth. Dr. Kogan cleaned my teeth. I don't think there's a hygenist here. He was great! Told me that he knew I was flossing well and took quite a while scratching all the nook and crannies for plaque, so I know he was very thorough. I love this part because it's like my teeth can finally breath. He also checked the x-ray a couple times while cleaning. Only complaint was that he didn't use the spin brush that long though to polish my teeth. I was told by the office lady that Dr. Kogan only works at this establishment on Saturdays. Other dentists work on the weekdays. Simple goodie bag with toothbrush, sensodyne toothpaste, and floss. Nothing special. They have a referral program where you get a free sonicare toothbrush OR bleaching kit (you have to make molds of your teeth). So got the sonicare for referring the bf. Overall, great experience with the office lady, tech, and dentist. See you in 6months! read more

I had to write a review . This dentist was phenomenal. I was greeted by receptionist Erica who was so friendly & kind. From walking in the door I knew I was in the right environment. The wait time for my appointment wasn't a wait time because the dental hygienist who's name is also Erica was right on time. Now I've had such bad experiences with dentist before my last dentist was so painful & rough. Erica cleaned my teeth so gentle & she took her time doing it. ( I'm also pregnant so my gums were bleeding a bit ... yet there was literally no pain at all ) I will definitely be back to this dentist because everything was so clean , everyone was so friendly & the atmosphere was great. The dentist ( I didn't catch his name ) came in to check my teeth he was also super friendly & that's what I loved. The dentist office can be a bit overwhelming at times but when you have nice staff like both Erica's it honestly was a breeze. 5/5 stars would definitely recommend to others ! read more

To start, the receptionist Erica, is the BEST! She brings a warmth to the office and is always on top of everything (insurance costs, appointments, etc). I do not recall the hygienist's name for my cleaning this visit, however she was skilled, very friendly and thorough in the cleaning. Worst experience ever. I came in very frantic and consumed by the pain only to leave in worse pain and a throbbing headache. It was a Friday about an hour before they were closing. Two patient rooms.. and best part was while the nurse sat me down after giving me an extra she kept asking what is this, what's that used for and more things you wouldn't want to hear someone who's working at a serious medical place say. But as I sat in that chair the nurse kept saying one moment and going back to the dentist working on someone else right in the next room and when she's finally done she looks at my X-ray and says nothing is wrong it doesn't seem like a dental problem. I said my gums are killing me and my whole bottom row of teeth really hurt what else could it possibly be, she kept saying "I don't know" so I kept asking questions what could be wrong and other things of that nature and then she got some weird looking glue gun and came to a conclusion that I cringe my teeth at night so that's why my gums and teeth were hurting she made me a disgusting mouth guard and said here you go hope this works... in my head I'm ready to curse her the F out but I kept my cool even though her hot breath was all over me and that nurse kept asking why she's doing what she's doing... lastly .. I asked if she can clean my bottom row of teeth Bc it's hard for me to use dental floss where that particular tooth was (crooked) and she said ok I'll clean it , takes a scraper. .... and starts scratching living hell out of my teeth.. at this point I have a throbbing headache.. and the best thing at no point did she get stuff out to actually clean my teeth she only scratched my gums and teeth until my whole mouth was filled with blood .. she simply said ok rinse, and In my head I'm like B**** rinse what my blood out?!!!!! But whatever I gargles some water thinking she was going to do something else but instead she said ok your done now and got up and walked into the other room. I collected my self and wobbled over to the front desk receptionist jasmine (WHO INFACT IS TOO NICE TO WORK WITH A LOAD OF DIMWATS) and I begged her if I can get a prescription Bc at that point I'm still bleeding the pain is worse and now I have a horrible headache about to kill me and the dentist said no she doesn't need one so jasmine said I'm going to follow up with the real dentist tomorrow (sat) Bc I see your really in pain she gave me her personal number to text and ask her questions and she sincerely felt bad for what his idiot has done to me, so my experience F****** HORRIBLE. But apparently Saturday's the real guy is there so I might pop in next Saturday to have him examine me Also If nobody wants to believe me that the dentist was saying I don't know most of the time.. guess what I had my phone recording everything #petty ‍ read more

I was searching for a periodontist and came across Brooklyn dental professional. I scheduled a consultation and meet with Dr. Kogan for about 5 minutes. He asked what dental work I wanted to get done and instructed me to have my PCD send over my most recent xrays. 6 months later I recieve a bill in the mail for $37. I would not recommend coming here they are money hungry. read more
