After a 40-lb weight loss in about nine months, my face started to show wrinkles and dryness I'd not seen before. I took a chance going to Legacy for this rather intimidating procedure and I am thrilled with the results, and the way I was treated and cared for during the process. Their office is easy to reach and park, with a spacious and attractive reception area. I first went for a consult (free) to explore options. Everything was on the table, from a better moisturizer to a face lift. I knew nothing. The lovely esthetician Cammy advised a Laser Cool Peel treatment as a first step. She explained everything clearly and patiently, from what to expect during the treatment, to healing process, after-care protocol, and price. I scheduled the procedure for two weeks out. On treatment day everything went as explained. We took "before" pictures, then my face was numbed for about 30 minutes with a topical gel, then the laser procedure took less than 15 minutes. I was sent home with sample sized healing serums, balm and sunscreen. That night I experienced the expected "sunburn" type redness and with the serum and balm it was virtually pain-free. The next day most of the redness was gone and I was just left to wait for the stages of healing and peeling. I had no unpleasant side effects at all. One week post-procedure I went for a quick follow up and advice for skin care maintenance products. Cammy sent me home again with some more samples to try before I invest the several hundred dollars some of these creams cost. I rarely take the time to write reviews but this provider is very good and delivered as advertised. I am very happy with my experience at Legacy Plastic Surgery and Aesthetics in Exton PA.

Other than my original consult, which was covered by insurance and my co-pay, I never went back (read my first review as to why). Then I get this message out of nowhere about making payments. So, I called - was put on hold for several minutes, and hung up on. My next call was to my attorney. Medical debt in PA expires after 4 years so even if there were a balance (which there isn't) they wouldn't be entitled to it. SO BIZARRE. So I sent them an email. And got the attached in response. Then a follow-up email to my emails telling them to contact my attorney if they feel I owe them a debt. They responded and apologized for the confusion, explained the email was that they are basically passing their costs for accepting a credit card onto the patient (disguised as a cash discount which is an OLD and unethical practice), but not for hanging up on me. This place is sketchy from start to finish. Find somewhere else.

I had a horrible experience with a previous dermatologist, but after one appointment with him, the doctor had an aggressive strategy laid out that cleared up my complexion within a year. The major downside to Dr. McCausland is that every time I saw him, I had to wait for about an hour after my appointment time, like clockwork. You can probably chalk that up to the demand for his medical expertise.

Fast forward a couple years, and I develop a rash in my armpit and a cyst on my thigh all within a few weeks of one another. The rash was getting worse so I decided to make an appointment with a skin specialist. On the day I decided to do this, the office was closed, but I found you could schedule your own appointment via ZocDoc, which I did, for the very next day! The front desk staff were extremely nice, and the medical assistant who worked with me was even more kind. I'm kinda mad at myself that I forgot her name, but she was great. Ari Gordon was the PA who saw me, and he gave me answers/advice/prescriptions for all of my problems. While I was there I figured I'd also get a wart on my toe treated, which he did while doing his best to be supportive through the surprising amount of pain the cryotherapy caused. I have a follow-up scheduled with him in a few weeks and can now confidently say I had a good experience here and will be back! The whole process was very convenient and low-stress.

About 3,000 people worldwide are diagnosed with this every year. Anyhow we're fortunate to be in Philly where there is world class medicine, and he's a retired Union telephone worker which meant his health insurance was good. What does this have to do with Dr. Turner? Good question. Many of the doctors who took care of my dad were very specialized. When I asked if they'd look at a spot on my skin, they said no, because they don't see routine skin issues. Instead, his team sent me to Dr. Turner. I've been seeing her ever since. Her office is on the ground floor of a professional building near Bryn Mawr Hospital. Easy to get to and plenty of parking in their rear lot, which is also the building main entrance. Her office is clean and bright, her staff friendly and she's very easy to talk to, especially when I'm always secretly terrified I'll also get a rare cancer like dad (not hereditary). I would recommend her for medical dermatology in a heartbeat. I don't use any cosmetic skin care so I can't peak to that.

I have paid substantially more than I was ever charged with Dr. Yuan. Close to a decade later, I am excited to be returning to Dr. Yuan. He is a straight shooter. You will not leave him looking overdone or ridiculous. His eye for aesthetics is top tier and I have not found any better than Sean Yuan. If you don't need something or there is a better (and sometimes cheaper!) option for you, he advises you as such. There were procedures I had wanted done many years back. Dr Yuan advised me to proceed in a direction that wasn't as extreme as what I envisioned, and gave me the reasoning. I insisted on what I thought I could achieve, and found a doctor who has no qualms doing what I asked. For the sake of brevity, i will tell you that EVERY procedure or treatment that I proceeded with elsewhere, I not only paid more for the initial treatment, but doubled down as I ended up getting the treatment or procedure reversed. I greatly regret not just following Dr. Yuan's advice. I'd have saved a lot of mental and financial energy! If you are lucky enough to have landed on Dr. Sean Yuan in your search for aesthetic treatments, you have found the only doctor you will need. I would, and do, feel comfortable and confident enough in his expertise to allow him to proceed in the way he thinks is best. He is also not one of those docs who tries to upsell you and push products or procedures you don't need or didn't even inquire for. I am recommending my friends to go to him, despite my location now being a bit of a distance from him. He is very worth a bit of a commute.
