First of all, her shop is absolutely adorable adorned and decorated, making for a serenely relaxing session. The second I met Girlie I knew our souls and energy were going to connect. Hey, we are both Dimple Darlings! She is ultra personable and sweet with a generous spirit and oodles of positivity. I felt she genuinely was concerned for my well-being and skin that she was willing to pretty much pull out all the stops to make my experience memorable and long-lasting. I indulged in the Alohilohi "Radiance" Advanced European Facial treatment which was specially customized to my skin's individual needs using various selections of skin care products. This treatment is designed to eliminate redness, reduce pigmentation and minimize the appearance of pores, stimulate circulation and oxygenate the skin, soothe sinus pain, headaches and muscle tension. At some point I fell asleep so I'm trying to recall everything she did and the sequence but I know she started out with refreshing cleanser and exfoliation. She added a Vitamin C serum which is excellent for anti-aging and maintaining a smooth, even, and glowy complexion. She provided a complimentary extraction and for me I tend to collect pesky blackheads in my nose area. Girlie was very apologetic whenever she thought I was uncomfortable with the extractions. She tried to be as gentle as possible while being effective. Then she applied a soothing mask, along with red LED light used in combination to help rejuvenate the skin and reduce cosmetic skin issues like creases, scars and wrinkles. I think it was after the removal of this mask that she did the massage and acupressure which to me was one of her true specialties. She knew where all the facial, neck and shoulder pressure points are located and knew how to use them to ease pain, reduce stress and tension, and promote well-being. She confirmed what level of pressure I preferred which was on the lighter side, but she is also strong and can provide deeper pressure if preferred. The massage and acupressure were deeply relaxing and restorative. The centerpiece of the facial was the Egyptian Rose peel-off gel mask (which smelled amazing) meant to reduce redness and dark spots and create the glow and radiance that I still see days later. Girlie also added a cooling hydroglobe treatment to help tighten my pores, and remove any under-eye darkness & puffiness. She finished with a moisturizer and toner. The final result was absolutely gorgeous and I looked years younger than my actual age (which I shall keep a secret). Throughout the entire treatment, Girlie communicated what she was going to do, what to expect, and touched the upper part of my arms to reconnect our energy. Parking won't stress you out! It's easy peasy -- just enter the Interstate Building garage from King or Young Sts. and your ticket will be fully validated. Her salon is located near the elevator and bathroom so that is also convenient. Overall, I had a five star treatment from my lovely esthetician and she even followed up afterwards to make sure I had a wonderful birthday, and I definitely did. I'm more of subtle, natural look. She spent an extra hour to help me, take down some on the middle and I really appreciate the service... I tried to love it but the kids at work asked what happened to my lashes and if I went to a costume party :( I didnt take a photo to share til after 1 week of most of it falling out.
