Each refill costs $20 and requires a 10-mile trip, which is not sustainable for anyone. The lack of communication and support made me feel completely unheard and unsafe at a time when I was already overwhelmed. Research has shown that African American women are often not listened to in healthcare settings, and unfortunately, that was my experience here. I had to push and advocate for myself just to get the basics, which only added to my stress. Patients deserve providers who explain clearly, listen fully, and create a treatment plan that feels supportive and sustainable. Sadly, that is not what I received here.

I went to my PCP who prescribed antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medication. Nobody call me from MedExpress. I am still in pain and my shoulder is not the same after that injection.
