This is the spot to go. We came in for a quick stop to grab some ice cream on the way home. We also had to pick up some candy too because I mean, we were here, might as well! This place always feels like walking into Wonka's factory. There are so many different kinds of chocolate and candy that there is something for everyone on that front. Then the ice cream parlor is pure nostalgia and there are so many flavors offered. I got a milkshake and it was made perfectly, topped with whipped cream and a chocolate wafer. Hedonist ice cream, my friends, is not Wegmans. And I'm not knocking Wegmans - it's perfectly normal ice cream with a ton of ingredients I can't pronounce for purposes of preservation. Hedonist ice cream is so much more than a cardboard carton of ice cream. They have a rotating menu of flavors, all made fresh and in-house with no preservatives. I have never met a cookies n cream ice cream I didn't love, so I went with that. Mom had a salted caramel ice cream that was fabulous. I paid for both of us since the ice cream was my idea. She was shocked at the 12 dollar total for both of us. "That's three things of ice cream at Wegmans!" But at Hedonist, it's absolutely quality over quantity. Even my mom admitted it tasted better. She wouldn't go back there, and I may not because I live 400 miles away from there, but if I was in town again and I was screaming for ice cream, I'd happily make my way over there again.
