The different Ice cream treats--Sundaes, MilkShakes, Cones, Dishes, and Soft serve with Mix-in's (Gator's)--Everything is delicious, good prices and generous servings (Though you can always size up For a little extra cost!). The girls at the counter could not be more efficient and helpful--they will accommodate your requests if feasible, and they are as "Sweet as the Ice Cream! The place is clean and there is quite a lot of seating, mostly outside on the covered porch, but there are seats inside as well! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Papa Jacks--You cannot go wrong here! Even if they are busy (weekend evenings), the Service moves right a long. Might see a girl's soccer team or boy's baseball team getting ice cream--but again, they have plenty of Servers so you do not wait long! The flavor choices seem ENDLESS, and even the Soft Serve is delicious! As far as Atmosphere--Everyone there is in a good mood and enjoying themselves... and there is GREAT ice cream with tons of--toppings, mix-ins and sauces (Hot fudge and Caramel are especially yummy!)! Tell them Sharon sent you! (They don't really know me or my name, but perhaps I will get a discount next time! ) NOTE: Cash Only so be prepared! Probably why the Line moves so fast!!! Sharon C.

Came in for some ice cream and really enjoyed our time!!…read more I ordered a twist cone with chocolate sprinkles! They had a great variety of hard ice cream and some great sundae options. I thought my ice cream was pretty good, nothing spectacular though. I really have to lower the starts on this place thought because they only take cash! This is such a disappointing thing in 2026 where many places are already cashless, making it hard to get delicious ice cream unless you remember to get cash which I almost never have. They do have an atm, but that has its fees. I would love to come back again in the future, but I have to be honest and say I would probably stop at one that takes cards first.

I decided I wanted instead to give my money to a local business and have a more interesting coffee experience this morning. So, I went off the Thruway 15 minutes out of my way to try FLCR. As a resident of the Finger Lakes, I'd had their coffee before but it never really made an impression.. So, I was looking forward to the experience. I walked in and there is country music blasting... Not a hipster vibe.:) There was a crowd of old-timers in a corner having their morning klatch, which was great. I love an inviting neighborhood coffee shop, even though this is in a strip mall. I could read the sign that lists roasts available today but the names don't say much about the product, so I asked the counter person what they have available, hoping it'd be obvious that I'm not familiar with their product. She answered by stepping aside so I could read the signs on the coffee pumps. Great! I asked what their lighter blend is. She replied "Lake Blend". So I ordered that. it wasn't until I got myself back on the Thruway that I took my first sip. I have never had a weaker cup of coffee outside of a diner or a hospital situation. Even (especially) a light blend, when brewed properly, should have a flavorful profile and provide a full coffee experience. That should be the expectation at a coffee roaster, right? If I had taken a sip before I pulled out, I think I would've brought it back and requested another flavor. The service was quite impersonal and businesslike and it was obvious the counter person wasn't really clued in. Do ya even drink this stuff? The one saving grace was the medium 16oz cup only cost $1.95. I might have paid twice that for a really good cup, though. I had hoped to add a scone or muffin to my coffee order but the selection was limited, didn't look appetizing, wrapped in plastic film--never a good sign. I will say that the experience is particularly disappointing to me especially because they do roast and wholesale coffee. Why bother roasting when the coffee is made so weak so that the flavor is imperceptible?
