Dr. Hannawi had a tough task - he just acquired the practice of a dentist I've used (and loved) since 1989. During this transition we are still being seen in the "old" North Attleboro office, to give us all time to transition to the new relationship and slightly different approach to dental care. On my first visit, which my former dentist had scheduled to replace some older fillings, I already observed many instances of the change. The first was waiting nearly 10 minutes before being seated in the chair, which had never happened before. This was possibly due to using two computer systems to manage my record, possibly due to different times each practice allots for certain procedures, or maybe the extra time needed to meet every patient for the first time. Dr. Hannawi used a few different tools from my former dentist - a newer imaging system, a hand held small camera that could take digital images of my teeth, and a thin headlamp that was cool but would have frightened my kids when they were little. He also had a different view about replacing these fillings. He thought that even though they are both old, it was premature to do anything with one. As for the other, his recommendation was a bit more aggressive: the filling is large in relation to the tooth, so cap it rather than fill it. I already have two crowns but prefer to keep my own teeth as long as possible. When I indicated that, we moved ahead to the filling. There was a difference here too; only amalgam was used, not the silver filling material, regardless of whether we were filling a front or interior tooth. Since my insurance supports amalgam only for front teeth, my out of pocket cost for the service was three times more than it would have been with my former dentist. Dr Hannawi and his assistant Maria have great bedside manner and work efficiently together. I look forward to continuing to see them and eventually moving to their usual office in Attleboro.

Every time I call I get a different answer or no answer as to what my balance is. When you ask to speak with the owner, Dylan Webber, he won't return your call either. Or maybe Elsie just didn't give him the message that I required a call back? I have never dealt with a more frustrating office in my life. I would avoid at all costs.

Had impressions done for the partial, the girl that took them pressed so hard on the side where I had just had the teeth removed that it hurt badly and I told her that she was hurting me but she pressed even harder... Received the partial around March 13, it did not fit well, the side where the person whom took the impressions, the gum was much smaller there, that it made the bite where the teeth were touching on one side when I chewed but not on the other side.. now when I chew I feel a click on the side that is much shorter. Had an appointment with Dr Weber around March 23, told him the partial did not fit right, but before Dr Weber came in the room the person that put the paper bib on looked familiar, so I asked her if she was the one that took the impressions... she didn't answer, well when Dr Weber came in the room he was very insulted that I had asked her that. Well to make a long story shorter, he didn't even look at the partial and he told me he did not want to see me anymore.. well now I have a partial that does not fit correctly and I am out to $1700 dollars and a couple of teeth that I still feel should not have been pulled out. However, if you are in the working world, it is not okay. I saw Dr. Vo. Dr. Vo's background is extremely impressive, especially considering she is so young! First impressions, I was not impressed. Everyone has an off day, so I gave her the benefit of the doubt. The second time I came in, it was much better! She's not very talkative (which is fine, because I hate when they ask you questions and you got stuff all up in your mouth). I had my cleaning done that day, but was able to squeeze in a follow up appointment for a filling as well. For my first appointment, they gave me a water bottle as a welcoming gift. Pretty good marketing strategy, I'm impressed. I will be returning for my second cleaning of the year!

I still go to him and make the relatively short trek down there (I live in N. Attleboro) for my appointments, because I've never been let down. He's gentle and does dental work that doesn't need to be redone later. Very friendly guy, as are his hygienists, as is his wife, Cindy, who's at the front desk. He takes the time to answer my questions. Morning is the time to go. The wait times shouldn't be bad if you go later in the day, but if you're there at or before 10am, you probably won't be waiting at all.

I had a lot of anxiety going into getting fillings done (due to prior fillings at other dental offices I had horrible experiences). They were great! They turned on the TV to help distract me, talked me through the steps, gave me topical numbing medication, and then gave me novocaine. I couldn't even feel the novocaine injection. And then next thing I knew it was done! The dentist and assistant were wonderful. Now I don't fear the dentist anymore. Happily recommend to everyone!

I called and they explained they don't use the term 'done incorrectly' and that additional fee was for another examination, which would have not been necessary had they done it right the first time. Thinking back on my experience with Mansfield Dental I also had gum surgery which felt rushed and cost 3k to have my gums still left exposed. This place is a machine to bill you and your insurance as much as possible, rather than prioritize the health of your teeth.
