Man, is it hard to find a new dentist here in Cincinnati. I had to change dentist because they…read morestopped taking my insurance and it took me a long time to find a reputable dentist. At some point I gave up, but I found dentists of Eastgate and they had availability within the week which was kind of crazy. Did a little research and I can understand why as the dentists here at this location are fairly "new" - experience within the last 6 years. But that's not going to stop me. I'm getting my teeth cleaned LOL... Anywho, I was pleasantly surprised that I had a pretty good experience! The establishment is clean, staff are friendly, and it looks like they have up to date equipment and technology compared to the last dentist I had here at Cincinnati. And they didn't even push to do any type of upgrades etc. Which is nice! Teeth cleaning went well, overall a good experience. Not much time to create a rapport with a dentist first time around because this location seemed so busy! Anywho, pretty satisfied here.

Avoid. Dentist claimed they sent in preauthorization and…read moredid not. Presented me with a bill this is about what you will owe and told me this is what insurance would not cover. They completely misrepresented what insurance will cover, by not submitting to insurance first. Sent me bill almost 5 months later and had never filed with insurance, now they say I owe $402 more. Did x-rays without checking to see if insurance will cover, they would not because it was within 3 years. Refused to see wife because she would not let them take x-rays due to 3-year rule. They stated they would not use another dentist's x-rays. They have a tendency to estimate low and stick you with a bigger bill

Just got back from a crazy dental procedure that I was freaked out about for at least two weeks…read more But everyone kept warning me, Dr. Godfroy is amazing! And I have to say, its true and I am very surprised there are no reviews for his practice. I have been coming here since before I can remember. I have never had a cavity so really all I could speak to before were the cleanings. Which have always been great, but today I went in for an hour long procedure and the lady taking care of me was a doll. She calmed my anxiety and Dr. Godfroy was talking me through it the whole way. My worst fear is being "tricked." I know that sounds dumb, but I had a nurse once say I wasn't going to get a shot, and then stabbed me with a needle and I passed out. I would much rather know what is coming so my expectations are on point and he made sure I was aware, but not to worry. The procedure was painless and I am sitting here wondering why I got myself so freaked out about it. I had the laughing gas, and the numbing agent and I couldn't feel any pain. Zip. Zero. Dr. Godfroy tells it like it is, in a charming and very comforting way. He has been in the industry forever and his knowledge is incredible. That stigma of the crazy dentist in movies has finally suppressed in my mind and I feel safe and confident that if I ever have any problems Dr. Godfroy will take care of me and do what is in my best interest.

He knows how to run a professional, clean and successful practice. They do everything to keep you calm and relaxed. There is a huge picture window in every room for you to get plenty of natural light and watch the wildlife. I live in Florida and wait until I go back to Cincinnati to get my teeth cleaned because of the great experiences I have had with this practice.

PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND READ MINE AND THE OTHERS REVIEWS. Very similar. If I could've don't…read morethat before I went there I would have and would have SAVED my teeth. At All Smiles Dental, I was initially told I needed four crowns. However, on the day of my appointment, they informed me that only two temporary crowns would be placed. They began numbing the side they planned to work on with a numbing gel, but when the dentist arrived, she started giving me a numbing shot on the opposite side, which hadn't been numbed yet. I raised my hand and told her that side wasn't numb before she injected me, and one of the hygienists mentioned that only two crowns were supposed to be done. The dentist responded that all four crowns were going to be done. So, they numbed the other side. After some time, the dentist returned and began working on my bottom tooth. She completed that tooth and moved to the top tooth above it. During this, I had difficulty breathing due to nasal problems and they kept spraying water in my mouth while working on my teeth. The dentist paused and mentioned the bottom teeth were easier to work on or something to that effect. She left the bottom tooth half-done and moved on to the other side. When she started drilling, I immediately raised my hand because of intense pain. She gave me more anesthetic but immediately resumed working on the tooth, without giving the numbing time to take effect. I raised my hand again, still in pain, and she gave me more anesthetic. At this point, I was crying--not just from the pain, but also from the discomfort of the shots. She was visibly frustrated and huffed, saying, "I already gave you X amount of anesthetics." Eventually, she stopped working on that tooth and began working on the upper one instead. I was struggling to breathe and crying uncontrollably, so I told them I was done. The dentist stopped, and the hygienist began preparing my temporary crown for the first tooth that was fully worked on. One of the hygienists was very sympathetic and kindly told me, "Next time, don't let them do all four teeth at once." I left the office with three untreated teeth, one temporary crown, and a temporary filling. I scheduled a follow-up appointment for two weeks later. However, once I got to my car, the front desk called and said there had been a mistake--they couldn't fit me in for the next appointment, as they thought I was getting permanent crowns, not more temporary ones. The new appointment was set for January 29th, a full 44 days after my first visit, leaving me with bare teeth. Not willing to go 44 days without coverage, I scheduled an appointment with my previous dentist to complete the temporary crowns on January 7th, even though they don't accept my insurance. I had to pay $300 out-of-pocket. A week later, I called All Smiles Dental to ask if there were any sooner appointments available, but they said the dentist recommended I go back to my previous dentist. I explained that this wasn't an option because I couldn't afford to pay $5,000 out of pocket. They promised to speak with the dentist and get back to me. After hearing nothing, I followed up later that day, only to find that the dentist had left for the day. I called every day after that, but no one answered. On Friday, January 17th, I called again, and once again, I was told the dentist had left for the day and that I would get a call back by the end of Monday.
