Dirty office. I waited for over an hour and finally gave up. They never called me back to see the dentist. I went up to the desk four times. The fourth time, the receptionist was returning to her seat with POP TARTS in her hand eating them as we spoke!!! Sorry, "we only have one assistant today." Two other people left right before me because they couldn't wait any longer either. TERRIBLE office on Hurstbourne. I started my implant treatment with Dr. Haines, but after Dr. Seyal took over, everything went downhill. My bite was off, teeth were filed down, implant hardware drilled too far down causing crack and eventually causing them to break. I've been left without functioning teeth for months. I was told if I removed my negative review, they would "make it right," but nothing was ever fixed. At my last visit (after major knee surgery), I waited nearly three hours in pain, only to be given the runaround they didn't trim dentures to fit my implants lied to my face and said they didn't have the parts when tech brought whole container of attachments into room but doctor Seyal didn't know she did and tried to change them for universal parts that didn't originally go to my implants. When confronted about lies they laughed in my face. Prior to appointment they knew my situation and that I couldn't walk had to move appointments around get a babysitter and boyfriend had to take off work. I feel disrespected, dismissed, and dehumanized. My trust is gone. Patients deserve honesty, compassion, and proper care -- not broken promises and to be treated like garbage. Shame on this doctor and office for how they do business and treat people. If you value your time quality of work and service don't go here. read more

Went here because I cracked a wisdom tooth and couldn't get into my primary dentist office. They were very quick and very courteous. I ended up getting my wisdom tooth cut out and they made it very quick and painless. They have great hours of operations with no appointments needed which is great for a busy family man like myself. I've had wisdom teeth pulled at my "regular" dentist and this place was cheaper using the same insurance. I asked if they had regular patient and they told me they did. I'm pretty sure this is going to become my primary dentist now. One of the dentist had there dog Lola running around. Very friendly dog and for me at least it gave the place a real "homey" feel. read more

I have been to this location several times and my experience has always been great. I've had a couple of different Dentists and the experience with each of them have been amazing. I'm the type of person that is fearful of dentistry. I don't even want to come to get my teeth cleaned! But the Dentist here are gentle and they explain everything every step of the way. That makes me feel extremely comfortable. The front desk staff has always been courteous and polite and are always willing to assist me in anyway. I also love, love, love that they are open until 10 PM. And they are open on both Saturday and Sunday! The office is clean, though the chairs could use a little updating, it's still comfortable. I had not yet seen a Dr for this, so there isn't one...I was denied service and apparently there's nowhere to go for emergency dental work on pregnant women? Had a chipped tooth and was the only place open till late, after waiting for over one hour..(was the only one at the waiting area) they brought me in, just to wait another 30 min. Then they switched me to another chair because it wasn't working.. Next to me was a lady screaming on pain.. Finally what it look like a dentist started working on it.. Told me the tooth looked great and said there was a warranty for a year.. But by the time I got home whatever they put on it was broke again.. I guess he got his license at chucke cheese right next to it.. Went by again next day for a refund n they told me no way Jose.. The same dentist will try to fix it again.. Hack accounting department. I paid cash for my procedure It was the full amount according to the bill at the time. Later I get a call from a collection agency saying I still owe $68. Urgent Dental never tried to contact me to tell me that an additional $68 charge was applied. Guess they thought it would be easier just to tell the collection agency to call me. I paid urgent dental the $68 and urgent dental was to tell the collection agency it was taken care of but they did not do that and to this day I am disputing with the collection agency the $68 bill. Very positive experience after some not so great ones at other dental offices. Dr. Tinsley was professional and super friendly and made me feel very comfortable (I have major dental anxiety) They had me in and out with a referral to an oral surgeon (also wonderful) within a half hour on a Friday afternoon. Please, please, check to see if Urgent Dental accepts you dental insurance before you use their services. My husband had a crown come off. Our regular dentist was closed for the holidays. This tooth was right in front, so he didn't want to go thru the holidays not being able to smile. He had the crown. We went to Urgent Dental to have it glued back on. They charged is $232. and told us our dental insurance did not cover any of the amount. What I have found out from our dental insurance is that Urgent Dental does not accept our insurance plan. Urgent Dental never told us this. The lady at the front desk just said she had checked and our insurance wouldn't pay anything. Had she told us the truth and said they didn't accept our plan when I first gave her our information, we would have went somewhere else, or just waited until after the holidays to have glued back. Don't waste your time going here!!!!! My husband broke a back tooth & it's very painful! This weekend, I called to get him into either ImmediaDent or Urgent Dental Care. ImmediaDent was & is totally booked, but said there are openings in Cincinnati, which is a no. I then phoned Urgent Dental & the girl said come on in on Monday, we open at 9am. He had worked all night, laid down around 5am & I woke him up at 8am to take him ALL THE WAY to Hurstbourne Lane. We walk in & the office manager says smiling, I'm sorry, we're closed, not even a sign on the door & the door is not locked!!! I asked why did your staff tell us to come in. She said our staff knew we was closed & I don't know why they would've told you that, I gave her the time I called & the name of the staff I spoke with. This is not funny, she's smiling & all the while my husband's in excruciating pain & we drove from Shepherdsville! This is the LAST place you want to go if you broke your tooth & very inconvenient!!! I'm very disappointed in this business!! I know emergencies happen & things come up, but I gave the girl his info & if she took it down she could've called us to let us know they're closed. My experience at this office could not have been better! I have decent insurance, so that helps, but the office was clean and well lit. The staff was polite, pleasant and professional. I had a tooth filled this morning and I'm scheduled to return one evening (yes, I said evening) this week to have a wisdom tooth removed. They provide a treatment plan and tell you what it's going to cost before treatment begins. They are open late and on weekends which is incredibly helpful. Writing this review is disheartening, I've been going to this office a couple of years because in the past I was treated so well and I'm not a big fan of the dentist. I was misdiagnosed and was advised to get a root canal which I didn't need. When I returned to get the root canal capped Dr. Sara (she wasn't there when I was diagnosed) who was honest couldn't understand why the root canal was done so she sent me to another Dr. who could better assist my needs. My new Dr. didn't understand why I had a root canal done as well which I ended up losing the tooth. I spoke with the office manager Sara and she was suppose to talk to the owner and contact me, I'm still waiting for the call. Both Dr. Sara and Sara the office manager acknowledged that a mistake was made. I'm really disappointed they didn't try to make this right. I have pretty good insurance but of course after the visit with them and the referral to the Dr who done the root canal my Insurance was left with $748.00. When procedure that I needed done was almost $5,000, which in order for me to start I paid $3667 out of pocket. This office didn't do anything to make this right. Only one star because you have to. I would not recommend this place for any reason. A friend of mine went in for a chipped tooth and spent $300. Well, 2 hours after the tooth was repaired, the tooth started crumbling again. The repair didn't even hold for 24 hours and of course they were unwilling to give a refund the very next day. They said they would be happy to have another dental tech work on it. Needless to say he was not willing to allow them to touch his teeth again as he was afraid they would make it worse than it already was. I would recommend waiting util regular business hours and go to a reputable dentist. I would not let this place touch my teeth. read more

Never have I enjoyed an experience at the Dentist, from the high out of pocket cost, to the pain, to the not always so pleasant staff, I've always dreaded going to the Dentist. This office made me feel extremely comfortable and were more than willing to work with me on pricing, given I was paying out of pocket! I am extremely chicken when it comes to going to dentist, but I was in a lot of pain, got there the first in line, I was told that if my humana said PPO then they could treat me but it was going to cost me out of pocket, a I left cane home and noticed that my card did state PPO, I called up to explain that I was turned away because of my insurance which at this time receptionist stated she didn't appreciate the attitude which I was not giving her and told that she was the one with the attitude, she then states I will still have to pay it up front and be reimbursed, had she told me this in advance I could have already had the procedure done but now am afraid to go there because I don't want a retaliation for calling the receptionist out on HER attitude, what happened to customer service?!I will wait until tomorrow to go to immediate time on hikes whose receptionist was very nice and professional, she took the numbers of my insurance and told me yes they do take insurance and immediately fit me in the next morning! My whole experience was great, and everyone who worked there were very friendly, caring, helpful, and professional. I definitely recommend this place for dental emergencies.
