I have to say I got a very good set of dentures from this office which I have had for many years. I also had to get insistent about the temp dentures I received as they caused TMJ because they were way too big for my mouth, however; they did fix them. I have also learned that you must keep going back for adjustments in any office until you get a proper fit. small tip- files made for sculptured nails work a treat for small adjustments and to smooth out rough spots. I considered going back for my new dentures if they took my insurance but they don't. read more

I am a former patient of Pensacola Florida office location and I was verbablly abused by a very unprofessional dentist at this office location. All was well until the dentist would not adjust the dentures for a gapping separation, although it would have been the third adjustment. I would think that as professionals would know that when you adjust one side the other needs to be also The other side needs to be adjust to compensate the alinement. that is when the dentist starting yelling at me because I said the dentures werent fitting right and I was unsatisfied and would write my review on yelp. She went balistic. she grabbed the dentures and told me shes wasnt going to kicking me out of the back office and told the girl upfront to write up a refund. She not only would not let me have the dentures but only gave me less than half of what I paid in full upfront for her services and dentures which I needed. During this time she continued to berate me infront her staff and other patients in the waiting room. I have never been treated with such unprofessionalism in my life. OH MY GOSH! Stay away from this office unless you like a very rude, strange and non professional receptionist and a filthy nasty dental chair, floor and equipment! The older lady at the front desk is rude and very strange to say the least. Why is she still employed? I have read so many reviews indicating this also. Must be a staff's mother or something. Can not answer the most basic of questions and if she can, she's rude. This place won't even give a written warranty for the dentures we got. Looked at us like we were crazy when we asked for one. Said to come back in two weeks when the owner/dentist would be back from vacation. So I asked doesnt anyone ask you for a written warranty? Which I was told"no". I find that hard to believe. I had all of my bottom teeth removed and a snap on denture with three implants installed. The Dentist and personel were polite and professional. I did have an issue with a follow up consult. I went in for my scheduled time and the receptionist told me to come back in three hours as the dentist had surgeries set up. I asked her if I came back in three hours how would I know the dentist would see me then or make me come back at a later time, again. I asked what was the purpose of an appointment if you are not going to honor it ? She said we can reschedule for another day if I want. I live 1 hour each way from the dentist office so I was not pleased. The receptionist really didn't seem to care that I had an appointment and my day was wasted. Dr. Dong and her dental assistants are very good and professional, so I will try another time in the future to ask my questions about having more dental work done. Hopefully the receptionist will have persued another career path. P.S. Good luck getting anyone to pick up the phone when you call in. read more

Approximately 4 years ago I had new top and bottom dentures made, the bottom never fit right and the top is livable with. Dr dong was very good at pulling my teeth didn't feel nothing but as far as my temporary denture I was gave same day I couldn't wear it at all and have been without teeth for 3 weeks now..was told I had to deal with it 4-6 months when I couldn't even wear temporary and they messed it up.what was suppose to be a good day was very upsetting and I left crying.paid 2825 she did give back 780 for future denture a year from now u have to pay for upfront but hasn't yet for temporary one of 480 that couldn't be wore at all. read more

Just left this office rudest people ever i went in to get copies of my xrays which i paid $95 for when i was told my first visit was free. First thing front desk did is tell me i needed a mask if i don't have one told me to go buy one. Really you know they have many disposable masks in there. Have been calling over 2 weeks leaving messages etc no response so thats why i just went up there today. I come back with mask she tells me that it will be 5 dollars for my xrays....xrays that i paid for. If doctor dong ever had any empathy or compassion it was definitely well hidden from me because as my sister who is a nurse connented to me, the receptionists and dentist all acted identically rude. There was only one that treated us with the common respect you would give a human, the young black woman who took my X-ray was by far the only one there that reflected good raising and social skills. From the moment I walked in I was snapped at and made to be treated unwelcomed as I was asked for my insurance card. I had to set aside a couple of cards while looking for the right card and QUICKLY she grabbed the opportunity to let me know in a rude manner she was not interested in but one of my cards. Very politely I told her to not assume I was offering her any other card as I was still searching for the one she requested. It grew to be a bigger nightmare from there. My nerves were frayed and on edge. My sister kept biting her lip from beneath her mask wondering if my patience were now that of twelve saints! She asked me how I could have continued to take the abuse I took from the so-called dentist who clearly had no sign of empathy or compassion, or encouraging words. My sister said she wanted to intervene but kept thinking I would speak up for myself. Bottom line, they need to be reported for their verbal abuse. These people are used to treating Medicaid people with low to no income and they believe this gives them a license to verbally abuse. I'm one of these Medicaid recipients but what they don't know is even though they are most Medicaid recipients ONLY RESORT, I will take out a loan before I take their abuse. I can not encourage you enough, don't be silent on reporting them because WE are the reason they have a job, and we can also be the reason they no longer have one. read more

I have multiple health issues, part of these include the deteriorating of my bones including my spine and my teeth. I went here in pain, because the professional surgeon I had an appointment with was booked two months out and I didn't want to continue waiting while taking prescription narcotics, this office received my documents from said surgeon with certain staff saying they couldn't help at all, others saying they needed to see surgeons notes first, going back and forth on the plan of action for hours. Most of them were very rude and unprofessional, because of what I perceived by their rushed conduct of business I did not feel comfortable with them pulling my 3wisdom teeth, which were coming out of my jaw line, especially seeing as how their waiver said if they break my jaw it's not on them, I'd have to pay another office to fix it. So I told them I just want to pull the 3 molars that had cracked due to my health issues, and that were causing me pain, and I would just get the partial for those three as the wisdom teeth did not necessarily need to come out according to my surgeon. After back and forth miscommunication, keeping me there from 9am until noon, they finally told me no, that if I wanted the painful teeth pulled I HAD to get the wisdom teeth pulled too or they wouldn't help at all. At first I agreed, because I was in pain, they told me to come back after lunch. I chickened out because of how I had been treated and a broken jaw is a serious risk, so I decided to wait in pain to see my professional oral surgeon. I called their corporate office and rescheduled to just have them do the mold and make me a partial and I would simply have the surgery with my surgeon after all. Well, out of spite, which I am assuming because the assistants(except one) had the ethics of your average fast food chain, they sent me a letter that said because of miscommunication they refused to ever serve me again.... not because I was rude, not because of any kind of disorderly conduct on my part, but out of spite because I didn't trust them to do major surgery on my wisdom teeth growing out of my jawlines. That should have had nothing to do with me being able to purchase a partial from them with no surgery, so leaves my assumptions of spite to be most certainly true, and just goes in hand with my complaints of unprofessional staff. Fate sometimes has a sneaky way of protecting you from dangers, and them telling me not to come back, because I made a complaint, I'm sure is in my best interest. These are the most unprofessional people I have ever come in contact with, from the most rude & uninformed front desk staff to the uncaring, unprofessional staff in back to the doctor, to the inferior product they try to pass off. Unbelievable how they expect you to pay to be treated like total crap. This was an awful experience and it being my first time denture experience I am now, honestly scared for any future care anywhere. They were terrible. Don't spend your money with these "people". This could have been a 5 stars if this business understood Great customer service. I have had dentures made by others for 10 years so I understand dentures and fit. I came here because of their great price. I purchased their best product which I had no issue paying the $1550. First, they are nice friendly and sweet staff ( all but the insurance coordinator, she has a bad attitude). I liked the doctor at the beginning, seemed to care.I liked the look of the dentures they made me once they remade them because of a bad fit. I made several trips ( 100 miles round trip at my choice) for adjustments. I even waited 2 weeks while the doctor was on vacation so I could see her. They made adjustments each time that I came back. We were down to one implant not connecting properly. On this last visit I was told by a tech ( not even the doctor) that the doctor said that she could not do any more for me. One last adjustment was all we needed to be a great job but for some reason she did not want to complete the job. On their website they talk of customer satisfaction and that you have 90 days for free adjustments. I found this to be untrue because of how I was cut off before the free adjustment period was over. I wrote the corp. headquarters, they investigated and offered me part of my money back (not all) but I had to return the denture. Well, the denture is fair but the time I spent on this project was a lot. I can't start this process over somewhere else. So with all said it is a shame that they would not finish the job. The doctor is trying to run all this business alone to increase her profits but it is really showing in customer satisfaction. Every time I went for an adjustment I would hear a customer complaining about something, well, I found out 1st hand why they were not happy just as I am not as well! Could have been a great experience but probably because of greed ( not spending time with the patients) I can never recommend this business and actually hope my review helps others before they are treated the same. read more

This place is the most money hungry "dental office" that I have ever seen! The front office staff are rude, ignorant, and don't even know the difference between an x-ray and a CT scan. We never even made it any further because they refused to let the dentist see the ct and determine if it was sufficient to give an estimate, rather than their 3D x-ray. When it was explained to the office staff, they could not give any reasoning for why that would not be acceptable. She simply said are you going to do this or not. The xray is $95 and needs to be paid. When trying to explain about the CT, she just got louder and ruder! At that point, we told them we would not be doing business with them since they were clearly only interested in money and not the patients. Myother was actually looking for dental implants which would have given them plenty of $$$ of they had not been so horrible from the beginning! The receptionist is very rude, and no one there is friendly at all....they are terrible at making dentures... My upper denture was so big it looked like I had buck teeth... The first fitting the dentures did not even touch except in the back.... So they shot a compound like caulk in between the upper and lower..... then the lower partial fit so badly the assistant forced them in and then nearly pulled my tooth out trying to get it out...I yelled because the pain was horrible and she screamed at me to quit yelling so loud....I informed her she was not going to pull on it again so she got who she said was a dentist.... That was questionable..... Then they pried out the bottom partial and then it would not stay in my mouth... I refused to except it and they made me sign a paper saying they would keep $270.00 because they made it but it did not fit....But would not fix or redo dentures... I told them not to make the denture because the wax model did not fit....They kept my money refusing to refund or fix dentures that did not fit..Lower Partial I never received... They finally refunded $605.00 for partial I never recieved after almost a year....but it still has not shown up in my bank account...New receptionist is very nice... But the dentist is still an obnoxious woman who does not speak English well... Affordable Dentures use to be a very good place with good dentists... but not anymore....STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE ON DAVIS HWY...The great dentists that use to be there no longer owns it...It has been purchased by a Chinese woman....THIS IS A TERRIBLE BUSINESS... read more

This review is about the rudeness of the receptionist not the dentists. When I went to make my first appointment, I was asked rather condescendingly "do you have $125.00" (amount is not exact) to which I replied "I have a credit card" I was asked to arrive early for my first appt. so I could fill out forms. I arrived about 15 min early, ( 8-12-2013) signed in and took a seat. About 25 min later no one had brought out any paper work. I went to the window and had to tap on it to get the lady's attention. When she finally looked at me (never opening the window) I asked her about the forms. She replied "do you have an appointment to which I replied "yes" She then asked "did you sign in" I replied "yes" She then replied rudely " I'm working on it" I sat back down and changed my mind about a business with rude employees so I approached the window and said (through the closed glass) "never mind my appointment" With her back to me she never replied, just waved a finger in the air. read more
