STAY AWAY! Bought a Liftmaster opener and the 2 (non Liftmaster branded) remotes were defective. They had terrible range and I had to constantly press to make it work. I asked for replacements and was told that the units are not defective and that I'm asking for too much. I even called Liftmaster and they told me that this specific operator should be sold with Liftmaster branded remotes. They have a very combative customer service and will accuse you of lying. Please stay away from these people. read more

My installer had some trouble getting the LiftMaster 400 system to work. At first, after much conference with LiftMaster, he decided we had a bad board. I sent it back to Affordable and they sent me a new one by return UPS the same day. Still had trouble and he decided it was really the arm, not the board. I sent it back to Affordable and they sent me a new one by return UPS the same day. With the new arm, it's working fine. I was amazed at the degree of customer service and support after the sale - the best! I was prepared for delays and excuses, but none of the kind. Sometimes luck wins out!!! I had ordered an opener off the internet at another company. Their site said in stock, I ordered,got charged on my card and heard nothing for a week. Called them to find out 3 month delay and back ordered, I get the supply problems but to charge me and not communicate that is irresponsible. Order cancelled Found Affordable Openers. And called talked to them confirmed stock. They said with my location if I ordered online right then it would be shipped by 5:00 pm it was almost 1:00pm their time. Even though it was the exact same opener, our HOA said they would not use it and that they had another company that handles all of all gate issues. I had a problem with our sliding gate opener and was hassling with it for couple of days. I finally decided to bite the bullet and replace either or both the motor and/or the circuit board (which cost $300+ for each) to see if I can fix the issue. I searched online and happened to come across Affordable Opener which I found was nearly where I lived. I called them up and spoke with Joe. He was amazing. I could tell right away that he was very knowledgeable, so I decided to drove down there and purchase the parts. When I arrived at the store, I spoke with Joe again and showed him a video of exactly what my gate was doing. He thought for a moment and he made a suggestion to me to actually try replacing the motor capacitor first which only cost $35. I followed his suggestion and lo and behold it was working perfectly. I could not have been more thankful. I know that our gate opener is old and will probably have problems again in the future and I know exactly where I will be purchasing the parts! read more

Ordered a Lift Master opener, best price I could find. When it was delivered, FEDEX had almost destroyed the box. I called Affordable Openers support to let them know and they were amazing. I live in Key West, so they made arrangements to have another opener shipped the same day but from Florida. I received it in perfect condition. Best customer service I have every encountered.
