Mike installed the unit with the promise that he would always service it. After installing the unit, I asked for an invoice. He refused. I asked for the manual. He told me he gave it to me and pointed to the installation instructions. Then, he told me it was probably in the box in the van. Then, he said I could get it online. I went online and found out that he sold me a soon to be discontinued unit. He charged me $1500 more than he should have absolutely knew that, if I knew it was discontinued, I would never have paid for the unit. He denied it was being discontinued in 2 months yet it stated just that on the website of the manufacturer. He installed a thermostat and left a hole in the wall. When I tried to get in touch with him, he disappeared. He is a liar and a cheat. If you use Cape State Heating and Cooling, you'd better expect problems, especially from Mike Andrews.

Needed to add a kitchen and two full baths, as well as closets, move beam and add a laundry area. It came out fantastic. This group--from Tracey Perry's help with design (amazing!) to Mike Heinrich's detailed budget which they stuck to and Bill Schmidt's communication on every detail, it was actually a pleasant experience. I highly recommend this group. In between my two projects with Cape & Islands Kitchens I did another property with a well known, popular Falmouth builder (hint: begins with an "L"). It was a DISASTER. Do not be fooled by the lower initial numbers--you will pay in the end and the quality of work will suffer.
