Over the years it has become harder for them to do the physical openings and closings, so in addition to maintenance, they added opening and closing to the services from Aqua Jet. This proved to be a huge mistake. Our family spent significant money on the pool in the last two years, including a new pump and a heater. I hired a close friend general contractor to advise us and do the install, no problem, except of course for Steve who, when he discovered this seemed more focused on who did the job and why we didn't use him as a vendor. Boy am i glad we dodged that bullet. Last fall Aqua Jet came to close the pool and took apart the filter as usual. At the time we mentioned removing the diving board and were told this would be no problem, and it was agreed verbally that it would be done at the spring opening. Well, spring rolled around and Aqua Jet showed up to open the pool, but the workers said they knew nothing about the removal of the diving board. My father ended up contacting and subsequently arguing with Steve, who had "no recollection" of any such conversation. Finally they did it, it took all of 10 minutes. Then things got worse. There was a problem with the filter, and the pool was continuously getting a fine black grit in it. We had water tested, the pumps recalibrated, nothing fixed it. Finally it was determined that during the fall filter disassemble a piece had been damaged. My father brought it over to speak to Steve about how to move forward. Instead of being willing to work with a customer of 30 YEARS, Steve told my 84 yr old father it was his fault, that he (my father) had broken it somehow, that it was an electrical problem (not true) and that we were too much trouble as customers and he didn't want our business. He even went so far as to yell and CURSE at my elderly father in his store! Steve you should be ashamed of yourself treating ANYONE this way, let alone a long time customer and senior citizen. My parents contacted Shore Pools & Services Inc and they were as pleasant as could be, responsive and helpful, COURTEOUS!!! Just check out all their 5 star reviews compared to Aqua jet's numerous 1 star reviews. Unless you like being a 30 yr customer and being abused and denigrated, take your business elsewhere.

He did not test either one and left. I received an invoice for over $1400 and the 2 Moto Message jests do not work!!!!! It's impossible to talk to a real person. They do not provide and estimate on the cost or time during the day. Not even morning or afternoon. This issue arose because I chose to plug in my tub (how hard could it be) because hiring an electrician to come to an island by boat is difficult. Turns out, an electrician would have known to clamp the main power cord. Pulling on it over time ended up shorting out the circuit board. That's when the fun began. NESpas made sure to order the right replacement board, put me on a group chat and walked me through the installation. I clamped the power cord and it's operated flawlessly ever since. Don't go anywhere else!

Class B criminal charge... I gave him the opportunity and patient for 2 years .... took all his equipment on Friday ... left his crew for over 3 hours to finish digging trenches for the water lines, which majority of the time they were on their phones. Never touched base with me, I went outside numerous times to his laborers asking when Jon was returning that I needed finally a game plan to finish long over due completion date ... came back ... fell in his own 5 inch trenches that he left my yard with for 2 years, no caution tape ... never covered ... left back piece of fence open to drain the pool water ... and left .... never spoke to me ... just avoided me and left . Bad business practices, once I texted him to establish situation he took over 3 hours to respond and started nasty texts and language ... so unacceptable. I love their large variety, so I kept going back to give them the benefit of the doubt. Clearly, my mistake. I purchased 3 large boxwoods at $250 a piece, plus $100 delivery fee. The gentleman I spoke with assured me they were super hearty, can withstand direct sunlight and assured me again... they would not die. Since the previous round of bushes I purchased from them did. I had my landscapers plant them, all new and nutrient packed soil was used as well. They struggled that summer, but somewhat came back last summer. This year, completely dead. I called and spoke with someone, they told me too bad. It's past the time of purchases. I'm out almost $1000 on these 3 bushes, plus the previous bushes that their employees assured me would survive. I've purchased many perennials as well that also did not survive. I've spent a fortune here only to be told, oh well. Do not recommend! Makes me sad, but I will not be back.
