After my new Tesla's Full Self Driving "free" trial decided to drive my car into a curb, both my wheel and tire were extensively damaged. Tesla refused any responsibility, declining to replace either damaged part. I was looking at having to replace both wheel and tire for about a thousand dollars. I searched around for a shop that could take care of both wheels and tires and found Luis at AWR. They were able to work me in the same day and take care of the job while I waited. I sent them a photo of the damage and they got right back to me with a quote of what they figured it would take to fix both. The quality of their work is impeccable. They took care to remove my damaged tire from the wheel, which is much better then those shops, including mobile ones, that try to fix rims with the tire still on. At the same time as they were fixing my wheel, other workers were busy fixing two gashes in my tire's sidewall. They repaired the gashes using a "vulcanizing cement" , which is far superior to other methods and compounds used by less scrupulous shops. They evaluated my car's alignment and concluded it did not need to be realigned. But if it did, they had a best-in-class, Hunter Hawkeye Elite laser alignment machine ready to go. Luis and his team really know their craft, are supper honest, and really care about their customers. I feel lucky to have found such a great place to take my car. They were able to fix the damage, like it never happened, at a fraction of what it would have cost me to replace my wheel and tire. Use these guys! You won't be disappointed! read more

It's been a couple years, and the paint they used hasn't held up. The black faded and feels very gritty. A single stage paint was used with no clear. Trying to wetsand and compound off the grittiness, can clearly see the black on the paper. If you have wheels you care about, take them to a shop with a legit indoor booth and spray setup. Get your wheels properly sprayed and finished w/ a proper 2K clear. Compared against my other 3 wheels, it looks very dull and a different shade of black. Whatever paint/finish they use will not stand the test of time. read more

These guys are truly amazing at what they do. It's the little things that made them stand out to me that most shops don't care about. They repaired 2 curbed and pothole bent wheels that came out amazing, machined off the hub surface of my wheels by 5mm to help minimize the tire rubbing since my offset was too low. Diagnosed my TPMS issue where a sensor was intermittently malfunctioning. With this project, these guys were very honest with me from the get go. Expectations and their opinions which made my decision on how to move forward much easier. Now to the little things that made them stand out to me: Had a tight hub centric ring on my wheels which made it difficult to remove and they helped me with removing them. They also sanded all 4 of my wheel hub and applied anti-seize. They also use a torque wrench to tighten my wheels to spec (not an impact gun like most shops). The last shop I went to before over tightened them and I had a hard time removing my wheels. These are a big plus in my book. Asked them to look into my alignment and based on their initial measurement reading, they recommended that it wasn't necessary for the minor issue I had (now that's honesty!). I still had them do it just to be sure. Their prices are amazing for the work that they do. I highly recommend this shop for any wheels/tires/alignment needs that you have. read more
