Thought I had reached a dead end. I have a 1963 Plymouth Valiant. I had the rear panel dent…read morerepaired and had removed all the trim and tail lights to clean and buff them, replace the hardware and gaskets, etc. The last piece was the aluminum trim between the tail light housings. I put it in upside down and didn't discover what I had done until I closed the trunk lid. The only access to that lock is through the rear passenger compartment. I got as far as getting the seat bottom out before I couldn't get any further and I went to do a search on the internet. Nick responded quickly, got the seat back out [rusted screw and washer, removed the two bolts that held the trunk lock in the rear panel with a 2 foot extension and got the trunk back open and remounted the tim panel. I would have gotten stuck back there screaming for the next three days. This guy has a gift. Nick cannot be recommended highly enough.

Ivan offered the quickest (1-day) turnaround and was willing to do an outside-only repair to help me reduce costs (i.e., not opening up the interior panel to facilitate pushing or knocking the sheet metal from the inside). He stressed that would be the preferred process but I just didn't have the funds or time to do that. Ivan understood my needs and graciously tackled the dent with all of that in mind. A little more than an hour later he had about 85-90% of the ding pulled out. I totally understand that the only way to get it 100% smooth is to approach from behind the sheet metal but I am completely satisfied with the scope of this effort at half the time and ordinary cost.
