About 5 hours into our drive we had a blowout and almost caught fire. We contacted Uhaul customer care for assistance and a few hours later, realized that Uhaul was not going to assist in a timely manner. I began reaching out to local businesses and stumbled upon Weekend Warriors Equipment Rentals and Steve, an authorized Uhaul dealer. Steve he helped us find a trailer in good working order and found workers to help move everything from the damaged trailer to a good unit. There is absolutely no way we could have done it without him! He showed genuine compassion for my family and is the example of what all business owners should be. They had what I needed in the store so I rented it on the spot that day. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and explained how to operate the equipment. They loaded the equipment into my vehicle and provided me with a ramp to off load at my house. The equipment operated perfectly and saved many hours of physical labor. When I returned the equipment the staff wanted to know how everything went and thank me for using them for my rental equipment needs. When I…read morecouldn't find them I went to a desk for help as I also needed to order $2700 worth of binding screws foe a commercial project. The lady who i found out later is the manager was down an isle where she seen me standing patiently for at least 5 minutes. As she came out to me another employee was walking up with another customer. Before she acknowledged them she greeted me with"has one of the guys helped you yet?" I clearly said no. Then the employee said something and without saying anything else she walked away to help him. My 5 minutes patiently meant nothing. I assumed the other employee may have helped me but he followed them. 2 people helping 1 customer when I was waiting patiently to spend almost $3000. Regardless I am shopping elsewhere for sure for now on. Oh by the way when I complained she said she thought I said no to her question which I did but she said her question was do you need any help? Clearly wasn't what she said. And I was standing there for 5 minutes or more facing behind the counter. Noone that doesn't need help stands there looking aimlessly at nothing.
