    Looks brand new

I've had so many come give me an estimate for our hot tub we purchased from Creative Spa, who by the way took months and months for them to even come see the hot tub then turn around to tell us we needed to crane it out to fix it or just trash it because it's use less. This is a $18k hot tube they sold us that is only 3 years old, they wanted to rip us off by charging us to crane it out for $8k. We started to get bids and talk to other hot tub repair companies, we thought we found one but he ended up not coming back. But AG Spa came assessed the problem which all the others pretty much told us was one the pumps and was fixed the same day. Jason did such a great job, he also recommended for Ace to come out and drain, clean and fill, Ace made the hot tub look brand new! Cleaned everything including the cover! Now they are maintaining the hot tub monthly. I would definitely recommend AG Spa to anyone.

The lights change to many different colors. It's very pretty!

After posting my issues here- Greg immediately reached out and offered to come check it out himself. He came, explained how to repair the issue and assured my husband that if there truly was any plaster issue he would address it through the warranty. They worked everything out to my husbands satisfaction (he can be even more critical than me). If anything changes I will update accordingly but as of now our issues are resolved pending an acid wash. If you have any issues- reach out to the office directly.

I worked closely with Ben, who really took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and brought my vision to life. He collaborated with me on the design, paid attention to every detail, and the end result is a pool that honestly exceeded my expectations! It looks absolutely incredible. What I appreciated most was how honest and straightforward he was throughout the process. There was never any pressure or upselling. Just genuine guidance and expertise. The entire team was responsive, communicative, and made everything feel seamless. On top of that, their pricing was very reasonable, especially considering the quality of work delivered. I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out and would highly recommend Pools R Us to anyone looking to build a pool. Truly a great experience all around!

We've used Priority Pools since our brand-new pool was completed three years ago, and the…read moreexperience has been extremely disappointing. In that time: * The heater has failed twice (and is currently not working again) * The chlorinator has been replaced * The pool lights have been replaced twice * The silver quartz finish already looks stained and bleached Maybe some of this is poor Hayward Industries equipment, but it's hard to know because the service tech changes constantly -- about every 6 weeks -- so there's zero accountability or continuity. This is a saltwater pool, yet instead of properly diagnosing or maintaining the chlorinator system, they routinely dump gallons of liquid chlorine into the pool every week. Actual "service" often feels limited to: * Emptying the leaf basket * Lightly brushing the pool * Adding chemicals And nearly everything beyond that becomes an extra charge: * Chemicals? Extra. * Filter cleaning? Extra. * Repairs? Extra. * Someone coming out because the system they maintain stopped working? Extra. Worse, many of the techs seemed unfamiliar with how the equipment even operates, making service calls frustrating and unproductive. What really bothered me was adding up the actual cost over three years. Once you include all the side charges, repair calls, chemical add-ons, and maintenance fees, the true cost is easily several times higher than the advertised "weekly service" price. The marketing and online reputation look polished, but our real-world experience has been expensive, inconsistent, and lacking accountability.

I have owned a half dozen pools over the years, including one of the largest lazy rivers in Clark…read moreCounty. So, when it came to replastering an existing 'model home' pool albeit a modest pool (originally built by Nevada Pools) that was deteriorating, I called Distinctive. All in all, I figured it to be a straight forward job as the footprint would be staying the same. Owner Edgar Herrera impressed me as knowledgeable and well equipped. Upon his recommendation, I also decided to replace the waterline tile. I was so confident in him that I did not feel the need to even stay in town to oversee the process. For this job, I selected a quartz product (new to me) in Cappuccino, and I was excited for the change to come. Throughout the process, however, I felt as though my job was just too small and not a priority. In fact, I know that Distinctive was performing a large scale new build near me as more than once, I was told that a rep would swing by after visiting the other site. Had my son not been home when my pool was initially filled (we did this twice), it would have overflowed into the backyard. While Edgar did respond to my concerns, I feel that had he and his team been more proactive I would not have needed to shoot off trouble calls after hours. My main concern involved the quartz material as rendered (which I was viewing as cell phone photos from my son). While Edgar did initially tell me that the pool needed to be 'swept' after being filled with water, I interpreted that to mean the pool needed to be cleaned to establish the correct water quality and PH. It had not occurred to me that the plastering process was not yet completed?! I have never had a pool contractor hand off a job that was not actually done and ready for swimmers. Further, Edgar knew that I had not yet hired a new pool tech. Long story short, I have a distinctive pool all right (see photos). I refuse to believe that the resulting mottling, uneven distribution of quartz and staining in the body of the pool are my fault. To his credit, Edgar did have his plaster sub, Rainbow Pool Plastering, return to perform an acid wash on the pool, but it really is no better and certainly does not reflect the nearly $30K spent on it. I am still waiting on the pool accessory kit $500. The only reason this is not a 1-Star Review is because Edgar is a nice guy and I do not believe this was his desired outcome either. To anyone considering a quartz product, I highly suggest you do your homework first. The web is full of similar stories to my own. ~ Tammy

Edgar was incredibly hands on throughout the entire process and truly cared about every detail of the project. That being said we could not be more thrilled with our final result. Our yard feels like a true outdoor oasis, and we are so grateful for Edgar's talent and dedication. we would highly recommend Distinctive Exteriors to anyone looking for a thoughtful, talented, and highly detail-oriented landscape designer!

I manage large capital projects for a Government agency, so I understand design and construction...but absolutely nothing about pools or the Las Vegas market. So we spent months researching before deciding to actually contact two (2) national chains and one (1) local company to discuss our vision and get estimates. Besides the obvious customer reviews and feedback, we were most interested in the company's project portfolios. We wanted to be sure the company had a history of creating the total backyard environment we envisioned. All three (3) had extensive experience creating the environments we wanted for our back yard...a complete package that included a desert landscape theme with lighting and irrigation, free-form pool with wet-deck and Zion-like rock waterfall, stand-alone spa, pergola-covered seating area and fire pit. All three (3) companies were able to send someone out to the house relatively soon after initial contact. Danny Lovio arrived exactly when he said he would and spent the first few minutes introducing himself and California Pools. Then...he spent the next hour LISTENING to our vision...asking questions to clarify, offering suggestions and alternatives...but more LISTENING than talking. And we had some very specific expectations and desires...specific color palette, pool features, landscape elements, sight lines, etc. As I would expect from a designer, he made sure we understood the process, limitations of our lot and budget...and he offered alternatives that might enhance our design vision and operations/sustainability. The one thing he DIDN'T do...was try to force his design vision onto us. He was very up-front about the potential cost and promised to put together a plan that fit both our vision and budget. At the end of the session, we were favorably impressed enough to pay the $250 design fee and move forward with the design/estimate process. All three (3) companies estimated 2-3 weeks to get back to us with the concept design and estimate. One (1) week later, Danny sent us his design concept package and detailed cost proposal. The design included the 3D video and the 5-page proposal included a detailed breakdown of all the elements...excavation, plumbing, electrical, concrete, equipment packages, decking, landscape, etc...to include add/deduct options that would allow us to tweak our budget. To say that Danny "nailed it" would be an understatement. He captured everything we envisioned...only better. What was really impressive, was that he managed to relay exactly what we envisioned to his landscape consultant...who also nailed exactly what we had in mind. We asked Danny to make a couple minor adjustments to the spa and color of the waterfall...but we essentially had a final plan we loved within 2 weeks of initial meeting. Construction schedules are a nice planning tool, but seldom survive the first shovel of dirt. Caliche soil, rain, wind, temperatures, labor disputes...can devastate the schedule. The construction manager's challenge is to adjust to those issues to keep the project moving forward and manage the customer's expectations. Mario Villegas is one of the best...always keeping us aware of progress with pictures and videos...and making us aware of any potential problems. The actual schedule exceeded the original 12 week schedule, but delays were legitimate weather issues...and we always knew what was happening. Throughout the process, I got the strong sense that we received the same level of attention to detail he would give to a family member. And besides being good at his job, Mario is one of the nicest, most genuine, people I've ever met. That goes for Danny too! Bottom line...this was a great experience for us with an amazing outcome. If you are in the market for a new pool, you owe it to yourself to give Danny, Mario and California Pools a close look.
