Chris and Amber charged me $440 after promising to give it to us at cost.
    Louise F.

Maybe good with pool cleanings etc. but not adequate at fixing pool heaters and they charged us 3X for parts. Chris and Amber arrived at 5pm on March 31st 2020, and spent two ours troubleshooting the problem with our pool heater that wasn't igniting. First thing they checked was the pool filters which we all agreed needed to be replaced, and they agreed that they will give us the parts at cost so we didn't question the fact that they were charging us $110 per filter, coming to $440 for the 4 (refer to photo, they are $150 for all 4 from Amazon). They also said that we might need to replace the ignitor but can only know that for sure after they change the filters. Next day they came, installed the filters. Then they said the ignitor needs to be replaced and that it was definitely the problem. They charged us $155 for the ignitor (refer to the photo, it costs $40 on Amazon) and again said they will give it to us at cost and provide us with receipts and a warranty. I agreed since I didn't know better. After installing the new ignitor, they said that the System Control Module also had to be replaced because it was the only other explanation for the heater still not working. Again promised the part at cost and charged me $415 (refer to photo, $150 from Amazon). After another hour of not getting it to work they said that it is a gas problem and it is out of their hands. They wrote up hand written receipts without giving me the actual receipts and warranties for the products they installed, so it was the first time I thought something was fishy. I called the gas company and they came out immediately confirming it was not a gas problem and that the gas worked perfectly. The gas company then pointed out that Chris left the ignitor unplugged (so we never even needed the new $415 control module they scammed us out of). After my husband plugged the ignitor in the heater fired up and worked. At the end of the day they did not fix our problem and lied to us about pricing, which I looked up online after they would not provide me with the actual receipts (I also confirmed the online prices are accurate with local pool suppliers), therefore I would not recommend them for fixing your pool heater and therefore the 1 star. They looked like such nice people so goes to show, do your own homework before taking someone's word. I hate writing bad reviews but it is a honest review. Response to your response: Your words were you will give them to us at cost. Your words Amber. We asked and you said "yes you only make money from the labor"!!! I also asked if I could get the actual receipts before we agreed to you buying the parts and you agreed. Chris then said over the phone last night that ok he wasn't 100% honest and he did make about $20 off this and $40 off that etc. which we wouldn't mind if you made some money off the parts, but you lied and a local supplier can give me the same products you installed for the same price as the online prices. I WOULD NEVER agree to your prices if I knew the facts but you were openly deceitful saying they are at cost and you're getting us the absolute best deal. The online parts are EXACTLY the same parts you installed. You never offered a partial refund, if so then write that down in words and I will rethink my reviews but that is also a lie. We DO NOT expect a full refund, we are not unfair but not going to let it slide when getting lied to to our faces. Chris screamed at me on the phone and I couldn't even get one word in before he hung up, way to go guys!!

He always follows through on every instruction I provide, and week after week, the service is thorough and reliable. I've worked with two other pool service companies in the past, and neither comes close. They usually started off strong, but their quality quickly declined over time. In previous years, poor maintenance even caused my pool to turn completely green. Since switching to Priority Pools, I haven't had that issue once. I don't often go out of my way to recommend companies, but Priority Pools--and especially Alejandro--have absolutely earned my trust.

We've used Priority Pools since our brand-new pool was completed three years ago, and the…read moreexperience has been extremely disappointing. In that time: * The heater has failed twice (and is currently not working again) * The chlorinator has been replaced * The pool lights have been replaced twice * The silver quartz finish already looks stained and bleached Maybe some of this is poor Hayward Industries equipment, but it's hard to know because the service tech changes constantly -- about every 6 weeks -- so there's zero accountability or continuity. This is a saltwater pool, yet instead of properly diagnosing or maintaining the chlorinator system, they routinely dump gallons of liquid chlorine into the pool every week. Actual "service" often feels limited to: * Emptying the leaf basket * Lightly brushing the pool * Adding chemicals And nearly everything beyond that becomes an extra charge: * Chemicals? Extra. * Filter cleaning? Extra. * Repairs? Extra. * Someone coming out because the system they maintain stopped working? Extra. Worse, many of the techs seemed unfamiliar with how the equipment even operates, making service calls frustrating and unproductive. What really bothered me was adding up the actual cost over three years. Once you include all the side charges, repair calls, chemical add-ons, and maintenance fees, the true cost is easily several times higher than the advertised "weekly service" price. The marketing and online reputation look polished, but our real-world experience has been expensive, inconsistent, and lacking accountability.

Professional, Reliable, Consistent, Quality Love this Pool…read moreService - Since locating to Vegas we have gone through a number of pool service companies who all promise to be on time, consistent ect...for the most part they ended up being unreliable, inconsistent and hard to work with. We've been with TigerShark for about a year and we love their service. Great Company! Every week they do an outstanding Job I like the idea that they send an email with a picture of your clean pool along with a service check list. Check list includes: Water Test Readings Chemicals Added (if any) Services Completed (Brushed waterline tile Emptied leaf canister - Skimmed surface- Emptied baskets) (they even add a picture of your technician) Billing is Super easy. Semi Annually they service the pool filter (Additional Fee) Professional through and through - Great Staff (Pam, Jamie, Wayne) all super friendly & always available for any questions. I highly recommend Tiger Shark.

They tried to rip me off with soliciting outrageous bids for maintenance claims. The pool ended up turning green and my tenant hired and an attorney to go after me when it was Tiger shocks negligence that caused all the issues I will attach the report from the new Pool company that documents this along with pictures I can't warn you enough to stay away from this unethical, shady and fraudulent company. THIS IS THE REPORT FROM THE NEW POOL COMPANY - 08/22/2025 Findings: Green Pool, algae growth throughout, pH and TDS levels dangerously high; valves set incorrectly, flow throughout the system not optimal for standard operations in Summer weather conditions, autofill shut off allowing the water level to drop below the skimmer line (pulls in air and shuts down system); all of which directly correlate to the condition of the pool with not recourse other than: Recommendations: Drain pool and spa, conduct a chlorine bath, filter cleaning and system inspection, add start-up chemicals upon pool/spa filling, calibrate the system. Note: the Tenant requested that we check for signs of a leak and/or structural damage at the pool light, as they suspected the area was the culprit of a leak. Upon inspection and calibration of the system it was discovered that the filter cartridges were compacted with debris and very heavy, indicative of a lack of maintenance. We also discovered that the Top Manifold of the filter unit (Pentair Clean & Clear) was broken and missing the retention spring. It was explained to the tenant that the lack of cartridge maintenance in conjunction with the broken manifold piece were direct contributors to the system running poorly. The tenant informed me that he "hired Tiger Shark in July to clean the filters", however, I don't feel they were cleaned properly, and whoever previously took apart the filter unit broke the Top Manifold and reconstructed the unit incorrectly. I've attached a picture of the filter cartridges and broken Top Manifold (top should have a large retention spring attached to it) for reference; it's my professional opinion that the Top Manifold was broken beyond repair, and that there's no way the cartridges were properly cleaned within 60-90 days of conducted services. It's my professional opinion that the pool was neglected throughout the year and improperly maintained. Based on our findings, I also feel that damage was caused to the system since our last visit to the property in 2024, and the condition of the pool when we saw it in August of this year was directly correlated with recent damage to the filter system and lack of proper maintenance.
