This guy is a scammer, don't ever do business with him. His name is Mike Andersen. I was recommended to him for a hot tub and swim spa. Signed and paid deposit in 4/2018, 3 years later he delivered my hot tub, never came to show me how to use it or give me a starter pack of chemicals like he promised. Then when we made an agreement on the swim spa delivery, he was so shady about our agreement. I ended up cancelling and asking for a refund on my balance. Now he is trying to pull one over me to tell me the price I paid is way higher than originally agreed upon. He has the audacity to tell me the size of a 8x8 hot tub cost as much as a 18x8 swim spa. read more

I'm very pleased with our spa and our experience. Within minutes of meeting Mike, we felt like he was an old friend. He has a warm genuine personality to go with his extensive knowledge of his industry. He sat with us and we had a conversation about what we wanted/needed/ our vision for the spa and our yard (we were doing a yard redo as well). Mike came over my home to meet with myself and my wife in regards to purchasing a swim spa. My first impression of meeting Mike was legitimately great. Mike was first off on time and before that he reconfirmed the time with me via text and called. His communications skills are absolutely on point, you will not be confused or lost during the conversation. To start off, I personally wanted a regular inground Spa, but my wife insisted on an inground Swim Spa. He was sympathetic during the pandemic and was great with communication throughout the entire process (5 month wait). When the Hot Tub arrived and was installed, he was there the entire time with my wife. Later that evening he came back to our house AFTER i got off work just to explain EVERYTHING to us about the hot tub. Amazing, right? But wait, there's more.... Fast forward to 4 months later (today). I drained my hot tub for obvious reasons, which lead to the jets not pumping after refilling the hot tub back up. After panicking, i message Mike and he ends up Facetiming me ON HIS BIRTHDAY while out of town to walk me through the entire fixing process. Long story short, it was a very complex issue (Air Lock in the pump) that he was able to walk me through it all and i am the least handy person you'll ever meet. I have been wanting a swim/spa for awhile. I have looked and my neighbor recommended Mike (owner) of LV Hot Tubs. My neighbor did his homework and spoke to several companies and they all recommended Mike because he takes pride in his work and tubs he installs. I called Mike and he was very friendly and said he would come out and show me different options. He arrived on time and as scheduled. He was very professional and knows his material and spas, tubs and swim/spas. I told him what I was looking for and he suggested the TidalFit EP-14. I did some further research and went with his recommendation. Unfortunately out of Mike's control, COVID hit and the swim/spa manufacturer was put on hold. I am so glad I waited. Mike called and said it was in and he began to set up the appointments to have the hole dug. Next he arranged the crane. Once the swim/spa was set, the same team that dug the hole showed up and finished the hardscape. Everything went as scheduled, within a day or two because of rain out of everyone's control. After everything was completed, Mike came back out and finished the startup. I cannot express my satisfaction with Mike and his company. He either answered his phone or called me back within an hour every time I called him. He came through with everything he promised. Let me start off my saying I am a very nervous person in general and this was the biggest purchase I've ever made, besides a home and a car. I'm also a single girl and the thought of problems/issues/repairs for a big undertaking like this made me very anxious!! I expressed this to Mike on our first meeting and really just seemed to 'get me'. Mike was honest and up front with me for every step of the process from beginning to end. He was patient and answered every single question I had. He always kept me informed on timelines and progress as we went along. I never felt like I was left hanging. Mike really listened to what I wanted out of a spa and educated me on all options, to determine the best spa for me. He wasn't ever trying to push me into something more expensive than I needed. I used his contacts for the electrical work and paver pad installation as well. Both of the providers of these services were professional and did great work as well. I was especially worried about the pavers being level in my slightly sloped yard. A beautiful, VERY LEVEL pad was installed, in just a few hours. When the spa itself arrived, we did have some heating problems - spa only heated to 98 degrees, instead of 104. Mike was in daily communication with me while he fixed this issue. He quickly ordered and rushed shipping on new parts and had a very knowledgeable repairman out to ultimately fix the problem in a timely manner. Owning a spa has literally changed my life. I cant believe I waited so long to do this. My whole body feels so much healthier and relaxed on a daily basis. People at work laugh at how happy I am all the time now. If you are a 'water person' like I am and are thinking of getting a spa - I say go for it - call Mike! I use my spa every single day and the care is easy and even fun. Mike was wonderful at first as he installed our swim-spa. I would certainly rely on him again for an installation. I would rate his installation work 5 of 5 stars. However, getting him to respond to you after the installation has proven to be a nightmare. He promises to do things but doesn't do them. I would rate his follow-up service as 0 out of 5 stars. Thus, the average of 0 and 5 is 2.5 so I gave him this 3-star rating. Also, the swim spa is made of really cheap materials. The faux-wood trim warped due to the sun and heat, parts broke off (one within a week of the installation), and our experience with the design was negative in a number of ways. I emailed the manufacturer describing how improvements could be made and they never replied. I called them and they said they don't work directly with the public, that we had to work through their authorized contractors...i.e., Mike Andersen. We enjoy our swim-spa but I'm not sure I'd buy this brand of swim-spa in the future. read more
