This Singaporean restaurant just opened on 2025-07-15. It is owned and operated by the same people as Kiss My Pans, which serves Singaporean food and cheese. Both locations will continue to serve Singaporean food. The restaurant has enough seating for about 20 people. They have a small AC unit, which is no match for the 32C temperature outside with bright sun shining in, so it feels warm indoors. Hint, sit farther from the north facing windows to be cooler. Note: They only accept cash or debit. You get 10% off when using cash. There is an ATM onsite but take into ac ount any service fees. I ordered the following: 1. White Chicken Rice ($24). 2. Ice Kachang ($12). The White Chicken Rice comes with Hainanese Chicken Rice (cooked in chicken fat), Poached Chicken, cucumber. Ideally it should be eaten with a thick dark soya sauce and ginger-garlic chili sauce. It also comes with a clear chicken broth. This dish was tasty. The Ice Kachang was perfect for a 31C day and warm indoors. I wish it had more ingredients like in Singapore, but it is hard to source authentic ingredients in Canada. At least it has the Toddy palm seeds. It has shaved ice, sweet red bean, creamed corn, grass jelly, Toddy palm seeds, and condensed milk. You can also get this dessert with durian (+$6). The customer service was good. There is very quiet music playing in the background. It was a good thing i arrived at 17:55 because the restaurant was full by 18:10, continuously. Agak agak is a commonly used phrase in Singlish, the colloquial language spoken in Singapore. It roughly translates to "estimate" or "guess" in English. It is often used to describe the act of making an educated guess. In a restaurant, a customer might ask the waiter, "Agak agak, how much longer until our food is ready?" This implies that they are asking for an estimated time of preparation. There is free WiFi. There restaurant is wheelchair accessible, but there is no door-open button. It is quite crowded inside so the wheelchair can only fit at the front table.there is one gender-neutral washroom but it is not wheelchair accessible; if fact you have to walk up a few steps to the washroom. There is paid and free 1-hour neighbourhood street parking. Review 2025-139

From the accomplished team behind Kiss My Pans comes Agak Agak, a nascent Singaporean establishment that arrives with considerable promise. The kitchen demonstrates genuine understanding of Southeast Asian flavour profiles. The menu reflects an authentic commitment to Singaporean culinary traditions, offering Toronto a much-needed gateway to this vibrant cuisine. While early days suggest room for refinement in execution and pacing, the foundations are undeniably solid. For devotees of Singaporean cookery, this represents a compelling new destination worth visiting.

"Singaporean Chinese Yusheng" by Kiss My Pans…read more What a wonderful way to celebrate Lunar New Year! Tossing Yusheng (Lo Hei) with the girls today for abundance, prosperity, and good relationships felt so special and meaningful. Throughout the incredible feast, we bonded with the host, connected with each other, and shared so many laughs. Honestly, what more could you ask for? We had an absolute blast! Thank you so much to Kiss My Pans for hosting such a fun and memorable event. It truly felt like being invited into your home for a dinner party, where we were warmly welcomed and treated like VIPs. And while every dish was impressive, the chili crab was the star of the night -- absolutely outstanding. The homemade sambal was equally unforgettable and packed with flavour. We came for the Yusheng and left with full hearts and even fuller stomachs!

Enjoying some Singaporean food in the winter felt odd. First time having Singapore food since our…read moretrip to Singapore. Laksa was one the top dish to try in Singapore but it was too hot and idk why I didn't order it in Toronto during the cold... so I shall come back. Instead we got a bunch of items to share. The beef rendang and roast chicken rice were my top picks. The beef was tender and portions were generous; strong lemongrass flavour which I absolutely loved. The roast chicken rice was also perfectly seasoned and tender, paired nicely with the flavoured rice. I'd come back just for the roast chicken dish. The char kway teow was not shy of wok hei, a classic. Kaya toast was delish as always but wish the toast was cut thinner. I was looking forward to the roti prata and curry chicken, it was good but not great. The curry reminded me of Vietnamese curry. The prata was on the oily side but very flakey.

My Malaysian buddy invited me out for a Malaysian meal, who am I to refuse…read more A large restaurant with a very mom & pop chill vibe. Looks like a table by the front entrance is reserved for owner admin purposes. Front area filled with good luck paraphilia to ward off evil spirits. My friend knew all the staff and proceeded right away to speak Malay. Let my friend do the ordering, I recognized a few of the dishes such as beef curry, chicken curry (both with roti), boneless chicken rice plate, chicken skewers, grilled sambal stingray, penang hokkien mee and a few other dishes (look at photos) I didn't recognise. There was one interesting dish Rojak, a mixed salad of chopped fruit & vegetables smothered in a pungent fermented shrimp sauce, sweet, tangy, spicy, a whole smorgasbord of flavors dancing on my tongue. Three words I've never used to describe Roti, theirs was crunchy, fluffy and moist, wonderfully dipped either in the beef or chicken curry. Chicken skewers were grilled well, meat remained moist with a nice grilled aftertaste, not necessary to dip into the accompanied curry sauce as the overall flavor stood on its own. The Sambal sting ray was a little disappointing, didn't match the memory of the one I had at the Singaporean hawker food court I had a few years ago. Overall flavor was lacking. Penang Hokkien Mee is the real deal, large plump shrimp w/ firm egg noodles in a somewhat spicy flavorful broth. We came on a Friday night, the restaurant was about 50% full, what a great cultural food experience which needs further support.

Decor isn't really anything to write home about, it's not why we came here. The roti canai was super delicious. Roti was flaky and buttery, the curry nicely spiced and waiting to be sopped up by the roti. The Indonesian fried rice was recommended by the staff and it didn't disappoint. Char Kwei Teow was nice, the wok hei was very apparent here as well as the Kang Kung Belacan (water spinach). The hainanese chicken while tasty was very bony (menu said it had bones). Desserts were a perfect way to end the meal
