I am a huge fan of Agape Mediterranean and have ordered from here many times. The online ordering platform is really user friendly, clear, and colorful. I always order a chicken Shawarma bowl with as many toppings as I can. I opt for the house sauce as I think it is the best. And I always get extra as one is truly never enough to cover the bowl. I have never dined in, but the food is always warm when I get home and seems to travel really well. Recently, they forgot 2/3 of the sauces for my family's order, so that was a bummer. But luckily, the food is delicious enough that I was able to still enjoy my meal without the sauce. The prices are fantastic for how much food you get. A bowl usually lasts me two meals! The food is so fresh and so flavorful and never makes me feel bad after eating it. 6/5 stars! Totally recommend! read more

Ordered for mobile pick up on my way into work. Everything looked great, restaurant was clean, staff was friendly. The food was good however just far too much sauce. I truly enjoyed the food here at Agapé Mediterranean, everything is perfectly flavored, the chicken and the spicy sauce are amazing!! The service was very professional and accommodating. We're tough to please when it comes to meeting our dietary restrictions. I'm vegan and celiac (true celiac) and my husband is vegan. I wish I would've taken pictures, the food was so fresh and absolutely delicious. I had a falafel bowl and the falafel was sooooo good. Wow! Maybe I just had a bad experience, but I struggled to give this place two stars. We ordered online, picked it up, no problem. However, when we got the food home, it was barely warm (I live two miles away). I ordered a gyro with extra meat, and OMG if that was extra meat, they must put two slices on a regular. Even if I ordered a regular, not extra meat, I would have been disappointed (see pic). I swear I had more onion than meat. I thought the tzatziki sauce was different, thicker than what I've normally had. Just real disappointed, since I brought everything home and found it to be subpar. This place rocks! The level of service is.... It's not even above and beyond.... IT MORE THAN ABOVE AND BEYOND. I didn't catch anyone's names so I'll describe them I saw a young tall black guy walk from behind the counter to open the door for two elderly women walking into the restaurant. He checked us out at the register and I forgot to add drink onto the tab, he just gave them to us on the house! So considerate. The guy who helped us was white with shaggy brown hair, and all of his suggestions were spot on! He recommended some chicken and completely changed our minds. At the end of selecting ingredients, I started just telling him to put in my bowl whatever he liked because he could not lead me wrong. I love this place! You really can't find better quality food for the price. The portions are typically pretty big (occasionally a worker will by skimpy but it's not often). I'm normally in & out of the restaurant with a fresh bowl in less than 5-10 minutes. My only complaint is the mobile app kinda sucks. Can't think of a single negative. So, five stars. It's Mediterranean Chipotle, sorta. Gyros, bowls, etc., made your way. I just got a gyro, but was able to choose the fillings and sauces. Also a cup of spicy feta, with pita chips. The gyro was good- good bread, tender flavorful meat, loads of fresh veggies. The feta was not spicy, to me, but had good flavor and was a nice counterpoint to the gyro. No line at noon. Super cheap- I think $13 for entree, side, drink. Very tasty. In and out quickly. Everything was fairly good, but I would have preferred meat/rice to be warmed. Not sure if it was supposed to be hot/warm, but I would have enjoyed it better if it had some warmth to it. I discovered this location and restaurant thanks to YELP and I definitely recommend grabbing a bite here. Plenty of parking and easy in and out of the center. Upon entering the restaurant I was warmly greeted and went to the counter where it took me a minute to browse all the exciting options. I decided on a Falafel Bowl with 1/2 house rice and 1/2 lentils + rice. When it came to the veggies I resorted to pointing and saying... "some of that, and some of that, and please add those, oh and let's do that too"..etc, etc. It was really kind of fun picking and choosing what looked and sounded good. In all seriousness though I added all the good stuff starting with Baba, and then pickled cucumbers, the cabbage blend, red pickled onions, the tomato cucumber blend, lettuce, and chickpeas. It was all so good. In addition, I added an order of Fries with a side of the House Sauce for dipping. The house sauce is amazing and is made of Greek dressing, oregano, and garlic from what the menu reads. I think it maybe the best I have had! In summary, really good food and great service! Good Flavor at a good price. Agapé is a Mediterranean 'Chipotle Style' quick service restaurant. For those "in the know" it's a very close comparison to Brassica. But for my money Agapé is winning. I'd have to do some research to confirm, but I believe Agapé is cheaper, and you get more for the money, is both serving sizes as well as options. On this trip I had the BYOB (Build Your Own Bowl), with it being my first time, I asked for recommendations and was guided to give the 1/2 Shawarma 1/2 Gyro protein combo, and I then proceed to add on 3/4 of the available toppings. I was also talked in to adding the Greek fries (fries topped with the house sauce and feta cheese), and I got a fountain drink. All in all a very good first trip, staff was friendly, food was good, and the restaurant was clean.... Not much more you can ask for. read more

The folks working here in this brightly lit, clean restaurant were super friendly, and I was met with happy greetings as soon as I walked in the door. The front is all glass, so I could see their activity when I approached and, while it was already very clean, I noticed that they were tidying up even as I approached. In addition to the Yelp event Pita/Gyro sandwich and drink, I ordered a serving of hummus, some baklava, and a side of greek fries with feta tahini and herbs. Honestly enough for several big meals - which is great because I have a very full & hectic Saturday & Sunday ahead of me - these items will keep well in the fridge. There is a self service drink station with the "usual" type of beverages, but also a selection of flavored teas - which is great! I've posted some photos of the food prep area and the dining area. As mentioned before, it is brightly lit (without being overpowering). The decor is inviting, in friendly cool colors (which is important to me, proper ambiance helps create a calming dining environment), lots of wood accents abound. Just found out about this place. The best part is that one of the owners also is one of the owners of my favorite Sababa. The reviews stated that Agape was quite similar to another favorite of mine - Brassica. So I walk into the gleaming slick and span venue with a very warm greeting. Like so many other places - Chipotle style. I love falafel and am very picky. Decided to get a falafel bowl - lentils and rice, a bit of hummus, cucumber/ tomato mix and pickled onions as well as crunchy cabbage. There were a variety of other yummies to put on too. The sauce I decided on was the house sauce on the side. Everything was very fresh. Falafel was good but had a slight bitter aftertaste like maybe too much of a particular seasoning. I'm really happy that Yelp had another event with Agape, this time in the new Gahanna location. I love Chipotle, Brassica, and Bibibop, and Agape is comparable as you choose your toppings except they're Mediterranean themed. I ordered a bowl with rice, gyro, babaganoush (highly recommend for hummus lovers, baba is soo much tastier imo), and pretty much all the other toppings. My bowl was delicious, and I even ordered their Greek fries with feta and their house dressing. They did not mess around with the amount of feta that came with these fries. Definitely loved this side a lot! I also wanted to try their baklava, and I wasn't disappointed! All the other baklava I've had at other Mediterranean places have been overwhelmingly sweet, and I love sweets but sometimes they're almost TOO sweet. At first glance I had neutral expectations and judgments; I assumed-- maybe, a Mediterranean version of Chipotle, Blaze Pizza, if you will. Definitely build your own (BYO) vibes. Everyone kept saying it's similar to Brassica-- I ABSOLUTELY H A T E Brassica, so remaining neutral minded going in was critical. It's a decision I didn't regret... I walked in and immediately was met with friendly smiles, and an audible hello from the counter and knew it was time to immerse myself. I asked for advice on toppings, chatted with the gentlemen helping me about kid friendly options (turns out his kiddo eats there often) and heeded the advice. Before coming in I'd been craving lamb, and had already kind of set of my mind toward the Gyro bowl. So, I modified my Gyro bowl to incorporate some of the suggestions of the staff. I got my lamb, shredded lettuce, tzatziki sauce, bhugga sauce, the cucumber & tomato blend, feta, and plenty of others because being frank-- everything sounded worth trying, if not outright delicious. Added on a plain side of fries for my kid, and a chocolate chip cookie. The price on the cookie and fries together was sweeeet; just $4. The fries plain are pretty good, moderately salted, some skins, and a nice 1/4inch cut. The cookie was out of this world, I swear they have to be infusing the sugar in vanilla BEFOREHAND, because if not, they're just outright doing magic. There's no other way. Best non-vegan chocolate chip cookie I've ever had in Columbus! The bowl made my whole family happy, there was something for all of us to love, and had I not been doing a test run, everyone would've had their own because it was too good to share lol! We definitely fought over who got the last bit of lamb, my kid hogged the chickpeas, and I stole ALL of banana peppers and cucumber-tomato salad + hummus. We're coming back. They handled their lunch crowd really well, the staff was polite, helpful and pleasant in every conversation I heard. Agape is my favorite of the "Chipotle style" Mediterranean restaurants. I've gone to their location at Polaris many times, but it was a little out of the way for me (but soooo worth it!) I was so excited when I saw that they were opening a location closer to me in Gahanna/New Albany and after dining here several times, I can say that it absolutely holds up to the Polaris counterpart. Immaculately clean and bright, fresh ingredients, delicious food/drink and superior service. I love that you can do half portions if you can't make up your mind. I typically do half portions of each rice and half portions of baba/hummus, topped with gyro and/or falafel. The portions are generous enough that I have lunch for the next day. Also, I normally don't go for beverages, but their stone fruit beverage is worth every calorie. Highly recommend! read more

I visited Agape for a Yelp event this week and picked up an order of greek fries on my way out. The restaurant is clean and bright, with really friendly staff. They serve MYO wrap/bowl/salad. You know the drill! The fries are real, skin on potato fries covered in Greek sauce and feta cheese. You should probably eat them with a fork! The sauce is nicely flavored and they are very generous with the fries, sauce, and cheese. I recommend trying one of their house drinks - I like the orange cardamom, but they have a lemon flavor and an unsweetened black tea as well. Or you could mix! read more

It's typical Mediterranean ingredients, think cucumber, tomatoes, hummus, feta, taziki sauce, etc. Similar to Chipotle style ordering. Everything looked and tasted homemade. The Greek fries looked amazing, I will definitely order those next time! Also noted some specialty drinks--flavored teas and drinks that looked like they are made in house in addition to a regular fountain pop station. I came here on a cold rainy/sleet day and there is construction on the route I took. Let me tell you, we'll worth it! Loved the atmosphere and the staff were so welcoming and friendly. This was my first time at the Hamilton location of Agape, and it was a good one. If you've never been here before, think of a Mediterranean style Chipotle. Pita or bowl- you won't go wrong. What did I get? chicken bowl with the lentil rice, (chicken) extra tzaziki!! I always order a pita on the side just to help with the tzaziki- Yiayia got me hooked on it. Consistently amazing. We've probably gotten Agapé a dozen times over the last few months and never been disappointed, not once. Also, you get a ton of food but don't skip the fries. The fries! I'm telling you these are the best fries in Columbus. I'm serious. And I have to note that I've never been stuck waiting for a late pickup order. They're so fast that they usually end up sending a "ready" message less than five minutes after I've placed an order. And somehow the order isn't sloppy or skimpy or inaccurate. Seriously, always. We've ordered in the middle of the day and prime time on the weekend. Doesn't make a difference, they're on top of it. I hope they never change. read more
