    Hummus Dip
    Jayme H.

I've driven by this place so many times I've lost count but for some reason I always passed it up. That is up until recently when I had a craving for Greek food and I noticed they offered delivery. Ding ding - here's my chance! I ordered a falafel Greek salad with a side of rice and some hummus and pita, all which were tasty. The hummus was creamy and flavorful and definitely hit the spot. I also very much appreciated the tzatziki that came with my salad, it was just what my falafel needed. I ended up eating every bite and had extra hummus and pita to enjoy a little later. Next time the craving comes on, I'll head straight back.

This is a cute place in columbus, with good gyros. The pita was good and warm. The hummus was okay. The dormathes were okay. The tiramisu was given to me frozen so I couldn't eat it, but once it thawed it was really good. It was annoying to wait 30 minutes for it to thaw but oh well. I loved the gyro I do recommend that.

This is a drive-thru to visit nearby for me, and it moves fairly rapidly when I do that. Menu selections are, to me. typical greek gyro restaurant stuff. The ingredients of menu items I've tried here are fresh and tasty, with a good inclusion of the ethnic spices I've come to associate with Greek cooking. They have fries available which, while I didn't order them on this visit, are particularly tasty in my opinion. The vehicle entry from 5th Avenue can be a bit tricky if you're driving eastbound on 5th, since you have to cross the westbound traffic lane - traffic on 5th Avenue can be quite busy at times during the day. The entry from the side street can be better, unless the drive-thru line is longer & extending into the parking lot - in which case the side street is not the best option. There is of course the option of going inside to order even if it's for take away. The dining area inside is clean & spacious and I've eaten there several times too. The staff has been very friendly on our visits and overall a good experience.

Kids mini gyro and Rice Pilaf
    Erica M.

This was my not first visit here, maybe 3-4th. Honestly was really impressed today, maybe it just hit the right spot and I was kind of starving. But got me the kids mini Gyro with the rice pilaf and a drink for $6! Deff seems like a good price and was still more food than I could finish, so would recommend for smaller eaters. I'd never had the rice pilaf, and at first glance it seemed like it could be dry and bland, but it was quite the opposite. I found it to be nice and flavorful and moist. Deff a pleasant surprise and something I was happy to eat by the spoonfuls. The kids mini gyro is still a good size, the bread was a bit crispy in some spots, lots of meat, good amount of sauce and a little lettuce to top it off. Overall a great Greek fast food option thats a good price, tasty food, and really quick service.

I really wish I could give a better grade, given the nice service, and the affordable prices. But the quality of the food and the portion size was meh and bleh. I ordered the gyro meat entree, which came with a pretty ungarnished plainish white rice pilaf, and 5 small slices of pita bread. The amount of meat that came with this plate would only fill a smaller sandwich. No veggies for color, texture or taste in sight. The tzatziki was "off" probably cuz it used a mayo base (vs. a more traditional yogurt base). The gyro meat was also not grilled or fried, which adds flavor to the meat in my opinion. In contrast, my spouse's falafel sandwich was overloaded with lettuce with too few falafel balls. The "off" tzatziki sauce did not help this sandwich either. Service was fast and friendly but there are many other Greek places that I'll try before coming here again.

We placed an order online to pick up for lunch. You can specify the time you would like to pick up and we chose noon. It was a pretty large order, we were getting lunch to celebrate a co-workers last day and she loves Greek Express. One co-worker went to pick up the order, she arrived at 12:02pm. The cashier said we have not even started that order because the pick up time isn't until 12:00. Funny thing, it was past 12:00. So they started preparing the order after the scheduled pick up time. Luckily we had a little leeway with time. When we all we able to dig into our lunch it was big helpings. Actually much too big for lunch. For example only order a large fry if there are multiple people sharing. The large order of sides such as tzatziki are enough for 3-4 people. I was not a fan of their red pepper hummus, but the regular hummus was good enough. I did like the addition of the house sauce on the Chicken Gyro, but I suggest ordering the sauce on the side if you are getting it to go. By the time the gyro go to us, it was mushy and moist. Overall Greek Express has big helpings that are ok tasting.

Service was very friendly. I would not recommend ordering the gyro plate. There is less gyro meat than a large gyro sandwich. The plate gives you the rice pilaf which is the weakest rice pilaf I've had. I would consider it more like slightly colored rice without flavor. The gyro meat potentially has good flavoring but it should be pan seared. The falafel sandwich has too much lettuce. The falafel was sliced so thin that it seems not very original. The spinach puff pastry was pretty good though. All in all, the food was okayed. The tzatziki sauce was so off. It was mostly made with mayonnaise that was so disgusting. However they have this brown sauce that tasted al ttb most like hoisin sauce which helps to add flavor to the rice pilaf.

Really good gyros. Great portion size and hot sauce available in a nice squirt bottle. Hits the spot every time.

Quick, convenient, good Greek food. The chicken gyro was good, slightly dry but still for the price, I'd go again and again!

There is room to sit down and eat but I took mine to go. The two women I interacted with were great! Cordial, helpful and friendly. I received my meal very quickly! Where to begin...the fries, that I tried before I started the car to head home, were hot and perfectly cooked. Soft in the inside, perfect crunch on the outside. When I got them home, they were still crispy!! The gyro is huge! Should I eat the whole thing? No. Will I eat the whole thing? Likely. The seasoning on the chicken reminds me of the lamb I usually get with that same soft yet seared meat. The sauce is just wow! The baklava is 3 pieces in one, can't go wrong for $5.50. Tender, sweet, and delicious!

Generous portions for the King and just the right amount of onion. Some places go too strong with the onion. The standout was the sauce! Just had a nice garlicky zing to it. The fresh cut fries were a little greasy but still good. The sleeper was that Greek Custard tho. When you walk in you have a case of temptations staring at you. The custard got my attention. Cold and dense custard wrapped in filo dough then topped with cinnamon and honey drizzle. Dang. This thing played with my emotions. Just so good and sticky. I would make a trip here just for this. It all came to about $22 with a can of Diet Coke and it hit the spot. The gyro was in the top 3 I've ever had, the fries I didn't really care for, the dessert selection I would make a special trip for. Solid 4 Stars

I started with the Cauliflower Tahini Soup, followed by a build-your-own salad bowl, a Chocolate Chip Cookie, and a Minty Pink Lemonade. The soup had a rich, creamy texture, though I found it a little too salty for my taste. Not knowing exactly what to expect, I loaded up my salad bowl with lentils and rice, mixed greens, hummus, baba ghanoush, crispy onions, pita bread, chicken shawarma, brisket, sweet beets, pickled cucumbers, pickled radish, pickled cabbage, cauliflower tabbouleh, marinated eggplant, and finished it with Brassica's roasted garlic sauce and tahini. Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and full of contrasting textures. The combination of crisp vegetables, savory proteins, and creamy spreads made for a hearty, satisfying meal that kept me full long after lunch. The Chocolate Chip Cookie was exactly how I like it--crispy around the edges with a slightly well-done finish and plenty of chocolate in every bite. To wash it all down, the Minty Pink Lemonade was the perfect balance of sweet, tart, and refreshing, complementing the bold Mediterranean flavors beautifully. Overall, Brassica is a great option for a quick, customizable meal made with fresh ingredients. While the soup wasn't my favorite, I'd happily return to build another salad and try more items from the menu.
