I found out about LJ studios through the moms group on FB. I submitted an inquiry on line and pretty much did all communications via emails. Since there is some uncertainty to dates, Laura did a great job of keeping in contact to lock down a day after delivery. Day of, we showed up on time to her studio, which is in a house in the Lindberg park area if you are familiar with Culver City. So lots of parking all over in residential area. She gave us some options for color schemes and looks and whisked the baby away for her shoot. Then before you know if, it's done! She is really good with communicating ETAs and sending previews. We did a view thru zoom to pick photos and i think it was less than two weeks later they were edited and in my inbox! The photos all turned out beautifully.

The studio was a decent size and clean. I was there for quite some time. It was not a quick process compared to the first newborn session. I had with my eldest daughter. I was told I would be receiving the photos within 30 days. I never received the photos. I do quite a bit of modeling, and our family is decently known. Looking for a Newborn Photographer and the Los Angeles area, I was actually referred to by a friend. With all of the modeling and family photographers I've worked with I've never experienced this type of delay in response or demeanor in a business owner. I contacted Kristine on multiple occasions (4) as shown through text and email. When I finally suggested today, I will need to reach out to my attorney ( not because of the money but because I wanted the photos, this is a memory that most all parents want) she finally replied. Her demeanor was completely unbecoming and truly filthy. She sent me screenshots that somehow showed my email. I'm not sure if it was a login screen or a contact screen but she had said I saw the photos in September, which I had not. I have absolutely no reason to argue with a struggling business owner. I was just reaching out to get the photos I needed after the fifth time contacting her for a service I paid for. She blatantly called me a liar in these messages. All I wanted was my photos that I had paid for and help accessing whatever it was that a lot of me the opportunity to see them . I would not let my children around this woman, or even refer anybody to her ever again. That aura is absolutely filthy to have a newborn around.. and you might not get your pictures for eight months! She should have been more professional and apologetic, rather than antagonizing. I will be contacting most all outlets and using my social media platform as well as others. This is a very fragile time for mothers/ families behavior, and the text after you read is not something that any newborn mother would want to tolerate.

They gave us plenty of time to settle and feed the baby, and even when she spit up all over their couch, they were nothing but kind and reassuring. Their home studio was warm and welcoming, and they went the extra mile--at one point, their daughter even played with my toddler so we could focus on photos. I am currently pregnant with our third child. We took photos of just me, and also with my husband and children. The session took place in late October 2025 and it went simply wonderfully. Oxana is the most gentle, caring, and patient person; she creates a beautiful atmosphere on set. Hair and Makeup Oxana had an incredible makeup artist who works for various brands, but mainly has been a makeup artist for the House of Dior for many years. I had the pleasure of having my hair and makeup done by her. It was stress-free, all on time, and the hair and makeup were simply stunning. Why Oxana Alex is the Best While deciding on my concepts, I looked through the portfolios of all the photographers in LA and can confidently say that Oxana's work is the best. Oxana and her studio have undeniable advantages: 1. Unmatched Professionalism and Lighting The key to a beautiful photograph is the lighting setup. I don't know how she does it, but all her photographs, even before editing, look absolutely perfect! This speaks volumes about her skill, technique, and camera equipment. 2. Extensive Premium Wardrobe Oxana has a huge wardrobe of premium items that she offers to clients for their shoots. You can be sure to find jewelry and looks for any creative idea, and it will look cool and stylish. The most difficult part for me was coordinating outfits for my family of four without a stylist: finding, ordering and trying on. I was so happy that I didn't have to put together my own outfit at all! I only bought underwear and one white blouse for myself. That's it! Everything else was provided by Oxana and fit perfectly. I also didn't want bulky dresses, as I feel they are going out of style; I wanted to be a stylish pregnant mom with more of a fashion focus. Thanks to her extensive wardrobe, we were able to achieve this as well as beautiful maternity gowns. 3. Professional Eye and Industry Experience With over 10 years in the industry, mostly shooting major bloggers and celebrities for covers, Oxana has a huge aesthetic background and an incredible sense of taste. She helps with posing and facial expressions. Even if you are not a professional model, it's impossible not to become one through her lens. 4. Unique Photo Delivery Policy The fact that she gives you all the successful, unedited photos is truly unique for Los Angeles. You only have to choose which of the many great photos you want edited. When I sent the unedited pictures to my relatives for help choosing, they didn't understand why they even needed editing?! That's how good the originals turned out! They were not only professional and talented, but also so patient and great at keeping him engaged and happy throughout the shoot.
