Their red salsa is mild but flavorful and goes really well with the fries. Another plus is how quick the service is, especially when you only get a 30-minute lunch break. I can call ahead, grab my food and still have enough time to actually enjoy it before heading back to work. So I had to intentionally order it with beef in order to get a mushroom pizza with meat at a joint literally called the "Mellow Mushroom." All that just to say.....for a place called "Tomatito," this joint sure doesn't like tomatoes very much. Well, they like it enough to make their logo a tomato, and all their signage is filled with tomatoes, but not enough to actually use it in their food for the most part. As far as I can tell, the only thing on their entire menu that lists tomatoes as an ingredient is the breakfast machaca ranchera, and even there, it's listed in the white subtext like an afterthought. Their special omelette does not have tomatoes. None of their tacos or plates have tomatoes. Their carne asada plate does not have tomatoes, but the carne asada bowl I had at Novo Brazil Brewing yesterday had a lot of tomatoes. The only other source of tomatoes I saw is the little plastic ketchup packets. I do suspect that the consommé uses tomatoes, so if I were to return, that is something I will order. But ironically, the soup is very hidden on their menu, and without the benefit of Yelp pictures, I probably wouldn't have even been aware of it. I ordered hangover chilaquiles and birria tacos. They asked me if I wanted mild or spicy salsa. I asked for spicy salsa, and they gave me.....this brown-ish crap. In my view, this is does not even qualify as salsa.
