I ordered a half order of carne asada fries about an hour before closing and was given cold, stale fries topped with cold, funky-tasting meat. Stopped here for some dinner. I got the potato tacos and my husband got the chile relleno plate. The service was also very good! She helped my husband bring out the drink and chips since we have our dog outside. So helpful and nice! Chips were thick and crispy. Just how I like them. The salsa was so flavorful! Not super spicy but every bit as tasty. My potato tacos were the perfect amount of fried and the hot green sauce was perfect with it. The red sauce was spicy but still yummy. The homemade tamales were moist and wasn't slacking on the filling. The bacon burrito was very good, however, halfway through, we found a piece of hair in the cheese. Have not been here in several years HOWEVER (prior to COVID) I learned that this company use to sell tamales at Christmas Starlight Nights Parade in December and I fell in love with their tamales. Could eat 2 or 3... because it was so delicious. However, upon attending the 3rd Avenue Starlight Lights for the tree lighting but to my surprise no tamales. So we ventured here to see if they still have tamales. The have a few Res (beef), Puerco (pork), Pollo (Chicken) and Rajas (Cheese & Green Chile). We opt for two (2) Tamales de Rajas. Just as good as I remember BUT much smaller than I remember for a $3.99 ticket price. Happily paid as it was worth the ticket price and filing. The decor hasn't changed much and the staff is quick, efficient and friendly. The menu is extensive and smelled good as the place was packed with customers, although on the smaller side...every table was packed. Will definitely be back for more tamales! read more

To my surprise the burrito was freaking huge! Longer than my forearm!!! Any ways I cut it in half bc I'm not a monster and to my dismay it looks plain. Okay am I trippen or do Cali burritos usually have guac inside or pico or at least some sour cream ? Or is inflation really getting to us ? Because this burrito was plain AF.
