We absolutely love having our care at Agave Pediatrics. We see Kaitlin and Lilly and could not recommend them enough. They are great with our children and always make us feel comfortable to ask any questions. They offer same day sick visits with Saturday availability and I have even been contacted on Sunday for scheduling the next day. They have parking available directly outside of the office and always on schedule for my appointments. We could not be more thankful to have found our care with Kaitlin and Lilly. I want to give five stars so bad because the providers are all awesome. Kaitlin especially. She is the absolute greatest. And I would say, every provider I've been to across the valley at an Agave has been amazing. But what's with every locations front desk staff being the most unhelpful, ignoring, rude, rolling eyes group of people? If I were them I'd clean house because there are people (like myself) that could do that job a hundred times better and actually have some compassion for it as well. It's just cold and uninviting when I have to deal with talking to them or check in/out. But that being said it's not enough for me to change our provider. She's caring, compassionate and really knows how to work with kids. My babies love her so much. Just do a little front of house sweeping agave. It would really benefit you more according to recent reviews. read more

We love all the staff here and especially Miss Kaitlin! You can tell she truly loves her job and has a beautiful heart. The MA's are all so so sweet even when it's time for shots and my daughter is having a meltdown. They are kind and patient. Very informative as well whenever I ask any questions about milestones, vaccines, etc. I am so happy I found Agave Pediatrics. As a first time mom, they really make you feel comfortable and good about yourself which is so important to postpartum moms. I wanted to like agave pediatrics so much as they are close to our home , we had to transfer to them after Scottsdale children's group closed their south Scottsdale location. I really love the providers at agave - so kind and personable. But their office staff are not very friendly or warm. It literally takes about 25 to 30 minutes to reach somebody to even make an appointment. They say they have the same appointment but they never do and send you to other locations across the valley that are so far ! Kaitlyn is the very best !! Both my sons had sore throats after 40 minutes and having to stop in to the office they were able to squeeze in one child for a swab but not the other . My son ended up being positive and my other son was at the appointment and would not allow for my younger son to get swabbed to start prescription for him they wanted us to wait another 24 hours to get him an appointment! Ridiculous making a child wait another 24hrs suffering with strep to get swabbed and then wait for a prescription. The provider understood and was willing to swab my younger son but the office would not allow it . We are moving and looking for another pediatricians office that can accommodate our children read more

We did not have a great experience at this office. The front staff were extremely unprofessional, play fighting with each other the entire time in a distracting manner. The staff member that took us back to the exam room was very rude and demanding in her manner of speaking as well as her body language and expression. The provider was very professional and thorough but she used a stethoscope for adults instead of for pediatrics so we decided not to come back. read more

We love Kaitlin! I stumbled upon this Pediatrics's office randomly after trying 3 more pediatric offices in arcadia/Biltmore over 6 years. I had big issues with all of them. So I gave this Agave office a try! I am so happy we found Kaitlin! She is absolutely a person who is made to be in pediatrics! She gives a great advice, not pushing anything. There is no condescending hints. She is very straight to the point! My boys love her! The front office is also very sweet and accommodating. She is absolutely in the field she was destined for and it shows through in her care as a clinician. We had to see Lexi today since Kaitlin was out and she was lovely too and empathetic to my concerns. We've had some issues with the front being able to properly verify our insurance on multiple occasions but it usually eventually gets resolved. read more

After my daughter's appointment, while about to checkout, we were suddenly presented with the requirement for her to receive scheduled vaccines, and at least one that day--without any prior notice. I politely declined and signed the waiver form due to religious reasons. Her pediatrician (Dr. Kaitlin Smith) reassured us that it's not a problem. Nevertheless, upon checking out, the lady at the front desk still tried to force it on us. And after I politely and adamantly stood my ground and declined a second time, we were then told to never return--it was company policy. And as stated on the vaccine authorization form they presented to us at the conclusion of my daughter's appointment, they are not a good fit for us due to refusing any vaccines. This organization is definitely purchased and owned by Big Pharma. I never thought facilities like this existed, especially here in Arizona--the medical hub it's known to be. This was a horrible and stressful experience for me and my family, especially after driving over 45 minutes from the West Valley to Scottsdale. Or, did it have anything to do with the color of our skin? I don't know! I'm about as polite as they come, and I almost lost my cool for the way we were ambushed and treated. Shame on Agave for their horrid behavior; abhorrent business practice; and the way they treat children! They DO NOT care about their patients. If you care about your children's total wellbeing, please look elsewhere. Parents, you've been forwarded! read more

We have been bringing our oldest here since she was 2 and my youngest has always gone here. We had the hardest time finding a pediatrician when we moved from North Carolina since the one we had was truly the best. This practice has always been so great to our kids and I love the more holistic approach when the kids do get sick. They don't jump straight to hard medicine but really take time to understand the symptoms and make sure that the proper time with us is taken when we are here. I never have issues getting seen by them and if the main location we go to isn't available they always find one close to home that can accommodate. Really enjoy this practice for my kids! read more

The doctor's here really go the extra mile to make your little one feel safe and cared for. I've only seen dr. Susanna and Dr. Kaitlin. They're both amazing! Dr. Kaitlin Smith blew us away with her kind and gentle approach with our baby and her Spanish! She knows how to talk to children and make them feel comfortable and loved! My husband and I nearly cried because of how amazing she treated her. She is a true blessing! We've seen so many dr.'s in the past, and the dr.'s we've seen don't care to make her feel comfortable and scare her. I'm so proud to say we have found our pediatric doctor for our baby. I brought my 10 week baby in for a sick visit yesterday . I called to make an appointment at 11:30am, they got me in at 1:15 that day! I was so thankful to not just get the appointment but instantly felt better when I got there. The staff was so friendly, Vanessa at the front desk was so sweet. I was a nervous wreck! On top of having a sick baby, I was also in a rush to get out and pick up my toddler from school. They got me out in a timely matter and the care was not compromised. My 2 year old son had a fever in school and said his ear hurt, we've been swimming a lot so I figured maybe an ear infection? I got in to this location (we normally go do a different location and see our primary doctor). We were scheduled with Dr. Letizia. Long story short, she is rude, talks to you like you are a stupid person, even went through with me how to hydrate your kid. Yeah thanks! Then she tells me he has to get a covid test otherwise I'm reported to Maricopa county and we have to quarantine for 10 days if I refuse. Ugh excuse me what?! I felt pressured and my back against the wall. I said seriously, why is that, she claims the Delta variant and she can print off a sheet of paper with the information so I know she's not making it up about what Maricopa county says. He did not have an ear infection, had some wax in his ear and then said she would get that out and give us some Tylenol to go home since we had a long drive. She left the room, spoke loud enough about me to the others. Nurse came in and covid tested my 2 year old, said we will all you. Dr. Letizia never came back in to clean his ear or give us Tylenol and we left and walked right by her and she said nothing. I am wondering if now with the Delta Variant that doctors offices are now getting paid for every covid test they do!?! Something to think about since kids can now carry it and transmit it, or so they say. The front end staff was great! That's what made it a 2 star vs 1 star. I recommend this place, just not this location or Dr. Letizia! I have friends that go to another location and I normally go to another location and they are all great. Both Dr. Jone's are amazing and Dr. A is incredible, he did both of my son's lip tie and tongue ties. read more
