My car was unfortunately damaged when I was parked in street. With it being a brand new model (Volvo EX90), I am concerned about getting it fixed to the factory standard and paint matched. This is the 2nd time I've used AGC Collision. The fist time was several years ago. Because of my great experience then, I took my car in again when I got hit in December right before Xmas. So with the holidays working against time, I finally picked up my car today. To say that the whole process was excellent is unfair. This company went above and beyond what they needed to do. Starting with the first person I met, Ariana, in customer service. Ariana is amazing! Not only did she keep me updated, but I also receives text messages with updates. Awesome experience at AGC Collision Center! It's the kind of place I would absolutely go again for car repairs, but also absolutely do not want to be in an accident again, lol! Thanks for helping keep my terrible circumstances, a little less terrible. After a motorcycle drove into me from behind on a highway and inflicted 11k of damage on my car, I looked for a Tesla & Yelp approved shop, finding AGC to be the perfect fit. Everyone at the shop was really friendly and kind, as well as super helpful the entire time. My work took about 6 weeks but I had regular updates keeping me informed of progress and where things were in the process. They worked directly with my Tesla insurance for a super seamless experience for me as the customer. It was seriously so well handled by AGC, I was happily surprised! Overall it felt very hands off for me, and for that I was so thankful. My car Jeongi came back looking better than when I brought him in. Completely disappointed with this auto body shop. My car was dropped off on November 24 and I didn't get it back until January 14. During this time, I experienced constant misinformation and misleading statements from the staff. They repeatedly claimed that the insurance had already approved everything. The staff pressured me to sign documents, as if threatening that my car would remain in repair until February if I didn't comply. When my insurance agent called the shop, they were also given false information. The repair estimate kept changing -- from $4,700 to $10,500, and finally $11,000. When I asked to pick up my car before repairs were completed (because the insurance was still pending), they tried to charge me nearly $4,000 -- $3,500 for storage for just two weeks plus $500 for reassembling the car after taking it apart. I did not pay this, as it was completely unreasonable. Regarding the deductible, they initially insisted that I pay the $1,000 only in cash, claiming it was the only way they could process it. I was able to arrange to pay by card, but had to pay an extra 3% fee. And then came the final straw: they overinflated my tires. My car requires 42 PSI, but they inflated them to 50 PSI. This is unsafe, causes faster tire wear, and reduces road grip. When I pointed it out, they insisted that it was normal. I didn't argue further but corrected it myself after leaving. Overall, this shop cannot be trusted. Their behavior was unprofessional, misleading, and unsafe. I will never go back, and I would not recommend them to anyone. read more

Took my car into the Mercedes Dealership. On the 22nd of, April. The Rep Carlos detailed all concerns I had regarding the car accident, including the photos. I returned the rental back to Midway another disaster. My car was not ready, no problem I thought until the Rep informed me they needed to contact my insurance Co. Regarding the seat belts. I clearly saw this problem listed 1st on the p/w detailing the back seatbelts. So once again, unfortunately I had to visit my friends at AGC after being rear ended on the 405 south back in May. When my attorney asked who I wanted to use for a collision center I chose AGC after all my previous experiences and asked to work with Arbi as my adjuster. As usual Arbi and his team, along with the receptionist at the front (Lucero) were always attentive to my needs. Arbi made sure to make my car look exactly how it was before my accident. He got my diffuser vinyl wrapped which was crashed into and bought the aftermarket parts which were damaged from the accident. Arbi and his team kept me updated through out the 3 weeks that my vehicle was in the shop which made me more at ease knowing I was in good hands. This was by far the worst car collision repair experience. I would avoid this place at all costs. It is a volvo-certified collision center, so I took my car there, and it was a HUGE mistake. They took 1.5 months to replace a damaged gas tank and replace wheels. of course, it could have been delay in the parts, but there was NO effort on their part to correct the wrong ordered item in a timely fashion, and they said they were waiting for insurance approval, while they had already received the approval 5 days ago. Our car was just sitting in the lot for 80% of the time. and the communication with customer was horrendous. I had to call so many times to get updates; for a case that was already so delayed, one would think the collision center would remember to call back the customer and try to get the car done asap, but there was no urgency. I was told Jose or the manager would call back, and 50% of the time, they never did. Out of all the collision centers I've had to deal with, this was by far the worst experience. read more

My Tesla Model X was hit while valet had it. The back left bumper was dented, but didn't look too bad. Unfortunately the valet didn't get the contact info or correct insurance info from the drive, so I had to use my insurance to get it repaired while we tracked down the "at fault" driver. AGC is one of the body shops that services Teslas, listed in the Tesla app, so I took it in. The car was drivable and functioning completely fine, it just needed a new bumper it seemed. I took it in December 22nd. Within an hour of taking it, the shop sent me an email with a Docusign so they could start working on it. They called me and emailed me and pressured me to sign the Docusign and said if I didn't very soon they wouldn't be able to get started working on it and because it was so close to the holidays might not get it in for weeks if they didn't start right away. I was traveling and could only view the Docusign on my phone. When I pulled it up, the document, kid you not, had no spaces between any of the words! It was impossible to read. I called them back and told them this and they sent another document which was identical. I wasn't going to be able to get to a computer for at least a couple days and that point I would have supposedly missed the window and it would have set me back a few weeks to a month - so they said. I ended up signing it. Apparently this doc was for them to be able to strip the car. They stripped the car and then Arbi called me explaining all the damage. He said a lot more was damaged than just the bumper and that it had affected the door, wheel and internal mechanics. That seemed unlikely, but what do I know. He said it would take 3-4 months to fix it. I told him I couldn't be without my car for that long and my insurance company only covers a rental for 30 days and I wouldn't be able to afford going out of pocket for that long and I'll just take my car back and drive with a dent since it was fully drivable. To which he told me that he couldn't put it back together because it had "damaged parts." Very shady. So now I was stuck with them and had to get it repaired. I don't want to accuse them of adding damage to it, but by the time the Progressive insurance investigator came, they agreed with the assessment of nearly $30,000! Which seemed highly unlikely and amiss. Sure enough it took 4 months to repair (and was out 3 months of paying for a rental out of pocket). They didn't take it to the Tesla dealership for a final software check for some reason (Albi said he wanted to get it back to me). And sure enough, when I got the car back it had a ton of mechanical problems. So I had to take it into the Tesla dealership to get it repaired - which took another month. When I sat down with the Tesla service clerk and told her that the car had been repaired by AGC she rolled her eyes and said "oh I know them. They're not authentic." Man, even Tesla doesn't like them. That confirmed to me that they were shady. Nothing about this process felt good. The only thing I appreciated was the regular check-ins and the detail job they did before giving the car back to me. But charging $30,000 (fortunately I didn't have to pay this) and taking 5 months to repair for a simple dent is absurd. I would not go back. read more

Jack took care of my 718 Boxster. It suffered damage from a hit n run. They were friendly and quickly got me situated with an appointment. Note that they are very busy (probably because they are so great!) so there were only availabilities weeks out from when I got the estimate. Repair wise, once they received the parts they were quick to get everything painted and assembled. Jack also worked throughout the repair to ensure my car got fully restored from a new rim and using a special ppf material. Cannot recommend this spot enough! I was involved in a hit and run accident and was in desperate need of a Porsche certified shop that was legitimate and truly certified. Found this gem of a shop far from your typical body shop that cuts corners. They were nice enough to accommodate the transportation to the shop and answered every call and every question. They fought tooth and nail to make sure the insurance company did not short change me as well since my car had xpel wrap and ceramic coating. I couldn't be any happier with the delivery of the car and finished product like nothing ever happened. Truly recommended if your a Porsche person because no one will ever understand the love we have for our cars but they do. They are also certified with other high end car manufacturers which makes you trust them. I'll just let the pictures do the talking, but if your a Porsche person and care for your car please don't waist your time on any other shop because you'll eventually end up going back to AGC to fix the imperfections. read more

I made an appointment for an estimate to repair my bumper for my Volvo. Someone backed into me and knocked it out if it's clips. I had tried popping it back into place but had no luck. The mechanic took a look and got it secured back into place. He also notice the muffler had been knocked loose in the damage. He crawled under my car and had it fixed and secured in about 15 minutes! Not only am I so happy to have my bumper looking good again, they didn't charge me anything! These guys are the best. They could have tried to talk me into buying a whole new bumper but instead they just did me a solid favor. I would definitely use them again in the future. 10/10 read more

Reviews here seems are fake. Read my honest review! You will save yourself. Shop is like den of thiefs. I took my car here and they take 3 months to repair. That's almost enough time to make a car. I just have a tennis ball size scuff and dent on the rear panel and side mirror broken. The damage is minor but the repair cost not make senses. Claim $34k from my insurance. Business practice is shady. They take your car for estimate is about 5 days or more. Storage fee is $250 per day. you have to pay storage fee + other fees if you don't move forward. You are forced to repair and I am surprised they make another supplement claim again for additional 4k after the first claim as my damage is minor. OK, I thought their job should be good as I see all the nice cars on the reviews and I am paying that amount of money. NO, my rear door can't fully close as I used to be and the paint job can see two different paints. Last, the T&C is crazy. 1. They can charge you everything. Insurance won't cover you have to pay. 2. If your car got damage in the body shop. They won't be liable. You pay for it. 3. They have the final say for how they repair your car. If you are not happy, too bad. read more

We have been customers/clients of AGC over the years, and I truly count on them from things small to large. Today I was having a problem charging our electric car--I was trying to figure out if it was the charger (small problem) or the car (bigger problem, esp if it runs out of charge in the driveway). Allen in the office understood my concern, he was so patient and kind, and fit me in the same day to assess. When I came in, Joe took a look, figured out the problem right away and just solved it on the spot. Again, patient, kind and clear. Never made me feel bad that in the end it WAS a very small thing. These things mean so much to me as a customer. Their kindness and attention saved me days of stress, running around town to find chargers, worrying that the car would quit while driving carpool. We've been at AGC for bigger things, too.
